Do you by chance have the product number.. can’t find these anywhere to include the website. Thanks and thanks for the good information in your two videos about these.
@@gregperry5951 www.spirithalloween.com/product/ir-beam-sensor-animatronic-activator/271214.uts It's currently sold out online ATM. Thanks for watching 🎃
I have the smoldering red reaper from Home Depot from last year. Last year when I set it up the sensor was perfect, every time someone walked up to my door it would go off. This year for some reason it doesn’t go off and I can literally stand right in front of the sensor for seconds and start waving at it and then randomly goes off. So the sensor works “at times” but not the way it should and the way I like it to. Will this work on it? If so, where are you connecting it to for it to work?
Right, but I’ve heard triggering it right after it is triggered will stop the animation. Like kid1 starts the animation, but kid2 right behind him turns it off. Like stepping on a try me a couple seconds apart.
@@RyanS-q7m In the video I walk through the beam while it's still going off and it doesn't cut out. I guess it could depend on the animatronic you hook up to it but the Tekky one I tested didn't have that issue
Wow! So it can work on any animatronic even at a different store 😮. I like it. I subbed and like The video because of this.
@@Katotheyoutuber Yeah, it should work with any prop with a external trigger jack.
Thanks for watching and the sub. Happy Haunting 🎃

@@Venomized It should work with this. It would plug into the step pad jack on the control box just have to switch it to the footpad mode
I’m not sure if my model has a step jack but I’ll check tomorrow and if so that would be great.
Great video!!! How do they work in the dark?
Great question. Gonna have to test that for a future video.but it should work fine. Gonna test it with fog too. Thanks for watching
@@TomNicksMonsters No problem! I was wondering about this when i saw it on the website! Thanks for the help!
@@CThaunts Is there anything else you can think of to test em on?
@@TomNicksMonsters Maybe try and find max distance?

I've used IR Beams in my haunt before (not this brand) and fog will set off your prop. Wondering if you've tested for that?
@@ZombieHaunter408 I'm gonna be digging out my 1000 watt fogger to test it

Any issue with battery life so far?
@@nicksolimini9393 My haunt only runs two nights the week before Halloween so they haven't been tested to that extent yet
What happens if you trigger right after triggering it? Does it stop the action?
@@RyanS-q7m You can hear the sensor trigger it. It works just like a step pad does so no retrigger
