Filipino Food, Farm and Faith Tour in ALFONSO, CAVITE | Center for FUN Tourism Circuit in Cavite

DOT CALABARZON organized a Center for Fun Tourism Circuit (Cavite) which includes Sonya's Garden, Queens Strawberry Farm and San Juan Nepomuceno Parish in Alfonso, Cavite.
The development of tourism circuits is one of the initiatives of the Department of
Tourism to support domestic tourism in alignment to the Tourism Recovery and
Response Plan (TRRP). The program will streamline development efforts in close
coordination with the local government units for the re-opening of tourism destinations
and attractions, to ensure that the public minimum health and safety protocols are
properly implemented to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
In 2021, the Department of Tourism Region IV-A conducted inventory and mapping of
faith, food and farm tourism sites to identify tourism ready destinations for the said
clusters.
After the tour package development, the next step of development will be simulation
tour to assess the viability of the packages.
