I love the Bible memory verses, we also had that in my village church, only yesterday at my church's children service, a teacher and i was saying that this generation of children need to get back to that, to keep them grounded in their relationship with God.🙏🏽🇨🇦

Knowledge of our community, is what's needed in the schools today.. technology is available to do this..the love and care that pass generations showed each other, we were so lucky to have that. Thanks Ivor Worrell.. my Grandfather on my Dad's side was a Worrell also, from a village near Blackbess. You did a great job, made me laugh with your collection of memories. 😂

Bible verses was a Sunday school requirement to memorized each week, when i was growing up in Barbados. So it wasn't a chore at home but it was for church. Same rules applied. That being said, scripture was my best subject at school. 100% all the time. This was at our Apostolic church in St. Peter.
