The Enterprise could not catch it to destroy it. Hyperspace system is weird that way. The Falcon could not hurt the Enterprise unless very lucky. Not enough concussion missiles. The Semetar from Star Trek Nemesis didn't make the list? How? How about Vger from Star Trek the motion picture? Truly awesome. One ship that would make a star destroyer run and hide, and make the death star think twice.
Ok, watch out now, I'm going to name a few obscure ones. Here we go: V Motherships from the original 80's tv miniseries. Final Fantasy's Ragnarok ship Buck Rogers' Starfighter, The Searcher, and Hawk's ship Battle Beyond the Stars' Gelt's ship, and Nell (aka The Hammer Head) Starblazer's Argo Robotech's SDF-1 Macross The Sol Bianca from the original animated movie Sol Bianca. The Liberator from Blake's 7.
1) Discovery 1 is not technically a "Starship" as it never actually left the local solar system. 2) The "disk ships" in Independence day were NOT "starships." The Mothership (which stayed in orbit) was, but it never entered earth's atmosphere. Dude, do you even SCI-FI? 3) The TIE fighter is NOT a "starship." Guys come on....incapable of interstellar travel! (You get Tie Advanced...THAT is a starship)
Gone through the comments and not one mention of THE LIBERATOR from BLAKEs 7. Google that and you’ll find out why that ship comes in at number 2. The TARDIS (TIME AND RELATIVE DIMENSION/DIMENSIONS IN SPACE) comes first.
Interesting that the TARDIS was regarded as not only obsolete, but damaged. The design was supposed to mimic the local environment (so would blend in inconspicuously). Dr Who's model was defective in that it could ONLY replicate a Police Telephone Box. Amazing capability for a defective AND obsolete ship.
I thought that the starships seen in starship troopers were pretty awesome! Also I am a big fan of starship interiors... cockpits specifically. Some are lame while others are breath taking
OK, what about the Rocinante - I think it looks way cooler then the Millennium Falcon which is just a flying saucer. Give me a ship that actually makes sense!
No Rocinante? Fail. Nothing from B5? Fail. (seriously here, when NASA asks to use your design for real world applications, you get some serious cred.) No Prometheus from Trek? Fail. No Moya? Fail. No Andromeda? Fail. No Liberator (Blake's 7)? Fail. No Red Dwarf? Fail. The fanboy was far too hard in this one. Now I rarely downvote an opinion based video, but there was simply too much Star Wars, and not enough other SF. Hell everything on the list is in visual media. . . nothing from Novels. The lack of the Rocinante or White Star was particularly glaring to me, especially as the Naruda was listed. (It really wasn't interesting, IMO)
Some of the coolest ships in SciFi are from David Weber's Honorverse. I agree 100%; novels should be included, and this was way too "Star Wars fanboy" weighted. I will have to disagree about the Rocinante, though. I love that ship, but there are other, much more compelling designs in that show. Just my opinion. Oh, a ship that transforms into a giant maid, and that didn't make the list? Seriously?
Y'know the red dwarf wouldn't work in real life. The bussard ram jet it utilizes would slow it down more than it accelerates. Edit: the Prometheus is a stupid ship
You had half a dozen Star Wars ships, but no Moya? No Lexx? No Yamato or Daedalus? So apparently a huge qualification for being a "cool starship" is "have the biggest fanbase". Gotcha.
I don't necessarily agree with all of your choices but I did appreciate the shout out to "Flight of the navigator". I would have liked to see a Viper in there somewhere.
"The Mark II is as "nimble as a jackrabbit," and can rotate 180 degrees vertically in .35 seconds" Yeah, and the scenes in "Scar" with her flipping around and hitting the afterburners.. Fucking amazing
Not having a single B5 ship in the list is a huge oversight. The shadow vessels are by far one of the most frightening scifi ships. Black, spider creature look. they just appear, cold no mercy bio ships... If those thing show up in any of the franchises they would be feared.... Plus many of the other ships in that series showed a great deal of imagination. It was a long running series, well received and one of the first TV shows to use CGI extensively.
I just want to want to know why Voyager Didn't make the list? I mean come on, they were stuck out in the Delta Quadrant and they had to live on that ship. Oh and the Delta flyer that Tom Paris Designed so they would be better protected on Away missions. Now that was a bad little ship there. My all time favorite is also the M. Falcon. But Amonst Star Trek Ships my all time favorite is First Generation Star Trek ship
Voyager was a great ship. Had all the bells and whistles, B'Elanna was a whiz in engineering, Janeway was ace at commanding, Tom rocked the helm, etc. And the Delta Flyer! That baby was sweet. But I can never forgive how anticlimactic that ending was. They burst through a collapsing Borg conduit after destroying the Borg queen and finally make it back to Federation space where the best ships in the Federation (including the USS Enterprise NCC1701-D) watch them EXPLODE OUT OF A BLOODY BORG SPHERE.... for them to just check in, say "hey", and coast back to Earth and we don't even get a reunion or the satisfaction of seeing them on Earth, or even Star Base 1. What happens to the Maquis? Can they still talk to Neelix? Is Ensign Kim FINALLY promoted? COME ON! That being said, it is a cool ship.
I hated the ending too. You have to assume she altered the time line by going back and taking her past self through the borg conduit but I wanted to see it altered for myself. Lol
I'll fight. How about the following: Atlantis, Destiny, Ori Mothership (Stargate), Krenim weapon ship, Enterprise J, Scimitar, Suurok class ships (Trek), Moya, Decimator (Farscape), Andromeda, White star... I could go on. I think you should make a top 100 and dig deeper.
I really don't believe the list didn't include the Space Battleship Yamato (Argo) from the several animated series by the names Star Blazers and Space Battleship Yamayo 2199 and the 2010 Movie by the same name. In the year 2199, the refurbished Japanese Battleship Yamato made a solo flight from earth to The Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. They undertook a voyage of 296,000 light years in less than 1 year to retrieve a device to rid the earth of intense radiation that was about to wipe out the human race. It was able to do this by 'space warp' less like a warp drive and closer to bending of space like the navigators used in Dune. Although the range was limited. Heavily armed, its primary weapon, the Wave Motion Gun was a gun that used all the power of the ship at that moment it fired. The gun spanned the length of the ship, 863 feet (263 m). The Wave Motion Gun fired compressed Tachyons in a single beam of power that would have made the Super Death Star blush. Te first time they used it, they targeted an enemy base but took out the entire continent. Also the Cygnus from the Disney movie 'The Black Hole' was kind of impressive as well.
Storm Bringer one ship that I like that I don't hear about often, probably because the game it was in wasn't stellar, is the carrier Acropolis from Project Slypheed
I really liked the Minbari cruisers from Babylon 5, Moya and the Peacekeeper Command Carriers from Farscape, the Andromeda Ascendent and the Eureka Maru from Andromeda, the Goa’uld Ha’tak from Stargate SG-1, and of course the Defiant from DS9
USS Daedalus Stargate Atlantis. And technically Atlantis itself was a pretty awesome Starship. Oh and technically none of the Starwars fighters are starship, nor is Serenity or the ship from 2001. They're not designed for Interstellar travel.
I liked the ships the Mechs (future bounty hunters) used in the third in the Pitch Black movie series "Riddick", but it was unclear if they were interstellar per se.
what are you??? 11?? of all SCI FI? what about rendevous with rama, lifeforce, space1999, Dune, babylon5, red dwarf - starwars is more like a kiddies saturday morning cartoon compared to these classics.
Lexx is definitely one worth mention, and pretty much every ship in B5. I especially liked the Shadow ships, though Vorlon planetkiller, Minbari Sharlin battlecruiser and Excalibur are pretty close to that one. Too bad that they didn't allow JMS to produce what he wanted in Crusade, that series had potential which got wasted by moronic micromanagement from the TNT network. I bet we would have had another cool set of ships from that series. Oh, and those tiny human Starfury fighters were cool even that they were vastly inferior to pretty much every other alien race fighters.
I would have put most of the alien species from Babylon 5 (Minbari, Narn, Vorlon, and Shadows.)along with Firefly and a few of the Star Trek ones in my Top 10 places. =^.^=
is that related to the Interstellarpolyveroterachloraminrefinery fom bsss 11? whatever that is this just needs a list one hundred So "Mike of List25" GET TO WORK and be a Mike of List one hundred for oen time
Atlantis is awesome. The fact that if given enough energy (and luck) it can move anywhere almost instantly is amassing. But lets not forget Destiny. Seriously. That ship traveled the universe for millions of years, unmanned. And to recharge, it literally dives into stars! Also it doesn't use a hyperdrive. Instead it travel faster then light in this space and you can see it going so fast that light flows around it like liquid.
One of my favorites is the Naboo Star fighter from The Phantom Menace, another is Mothership from Homeworld. But my absolute favorite has to be NCC-1701-D U.S.S. Enterprise.
I was all set to scold you over not including the loveliest ship in scifi- the Close Encounters mothership. These videos always overlook it! I salute you for including my favorite spaceship! You got a like & a subscribe from me :)
The ""BORG"".... Aren't Conquerors (quote from John De lancie's "Q".. the BORG are the Ultimate users ... They've identified you as something to consume "as what they use!!" That's all..! )
Out of all the spaceships on this list, the one from 2001 A Space Odyssey appears to be the most realistic and should be the model for all future deep space spacecraft.
davyt0247 so you are arguing because it is a battle station it cannot be a space ship as well? Does the Death Star move in space? Does the Death Star support any type of life aboard? Lastly, can the Enterprise be considered a battle station? Okay, maybe I stretched a bit for that last point, but the terms battle station and space ships can intermingle without nullifying each other.
@@sylvaindrasse4261 lines get blurred no doubt but did the station move through space at light speed. Never watched the show that much. I imagine the Death Star did otherwise it would not just "appear" near different planets. Although I don't recall seeing it "warp out" in the few movies I watched where it was featured.
I broke it down for someone else: Flight of the Navigator: 1 Alien: 2 Firefly: 1 Star Wars: 6 Doctor Who: 1 Star Trek: 4 Lost in Space: 1 Halo: 1 2001: 1 Stargate: 1 ID4: 1 Battlestar Galactica: 1 Mass Effect: 2 Close Encounters: 1 Guardians of the Galaxy: 1
To this day, nothing, not even x wings or tie fighters make me happier than seeing a wireframe Cobra mk iii spinning around in the original Elite on a BBC Micro.
I am going to point out the many MANY different Sci-fi options that appear to have been completely overlooked. Starting with one of the oldest Red Dwarf comedy show put on by BBC. Then there is the greatly loved and missed Farscape and the living ships and others that many came to love. There is also the little remembered but incredibly advanced Andromeda Ascendant where it showcased what would be classified as a AC or Artificial Consciousness level ship computer. Then as others have pointed out there was the much beloved and sadly lost Babylon 5 show that showcased some utterly stunning ships. Then of course there are a even longer list of fringe shows that had impressive ships all their own. Like the long running Lexx from late-night Sci-fi that while not much to look at had some incredible abilities that would have made it a worthy contender. So on this i put before you a challenge. Make a NEW top 25 list but this time LIMIT each selections to only ONE from each source meaning that one from Starwars and such. And make a rating system to use to compare each that can include anything from how strong or powerful to how advanced or impactful to the community it was. Doing this would create a much more impressive list and one i honestly would love to watch.
True points here. I'm just shocked at how few even include Stargate ( all 3 ) ships. Even though I have to contest the Asgard Oneil class ship as the most powerful or coolest in the Stargate series. I mean, the Alteran battleship class Aurora not ever included. ( 3.5 km long MULTIPHASE DRONES for weapons, shields don't even slow them down, they explode INSIDE your engines. Destiny's star plasma powered FTL) Even the original BSG has more than just the cool battlestar, the Cylon base ships ( flying yoyos without the string in looks ) were pretty awesome to see. ( I do not recognise the remade BSG as a viable source for anything )
Not including Moya or Talon from Farscape, nor Atlantis from Star Gate Atlantis just seems like you overlooked some of the most powerful ships in all of scifi. Talon alone was only a toddler, but could destroy everything in sight. I wish we could have seen him grow up.
the Daedalus From Stargate is Fast More powerful weapons and Give it an over all sleek design. should have given it the top spot on this list it really should have been on the list
Hi, Whovian here. I am really surprised to see a TARDIS on here as it is not a traditional fuel powered "ship". It's comparing apples and oranges (cough:::: tie fighter:::: cough) And the MF being number one is a nod to your fandom Mike!! You let that cloud your judgement!! Still love your show 💕
An O'neal with Time Lord dimension tech, three AI's (Cortana/EDI/interstellar style) is added in and two Normandy's in the docking bays and each with Makko landers inside. Me and my crews job would be delivery(people or things), mining resources, and escort other ships to safe places. Perfect life scenario.
I've recently finished watching all the episodes again on RUclips. A brilliant series, with the occasional weak episode. It's a shame that Paul Darrow didn't succeed in getting an update, or film, made. He's character, Avon, was one of the more interesting, and believable, characters from Sci-Fi.
No ships from Babylon 5?!?!?! The Narn warship is a beautiful warship. The White Star is an absolute work of art. The Excalibur is a powerful and unique ship. And what about the Andromeda Ascendant? And Voyager?
My favorite is the mother ship from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". Then there's "V'ger" from the first "Star Trek" movie. I also like the alien mother ship from "The Abyss". How could you not mention "V'ger" from the first "Star Trek" movie?
The Event Horizon was so "fast" they didnt even found out "where" it has been when it eventually resurfaced, that alone should have qualified it for this list. Plus its a beautiful Ship.
Good list but I agree that Red Dwarf, The Heart of Gold, Moya from Farscape, Lexx, and Cowboy Bebop’s Sword Fish 2 should have been on this list! And yes this would have kicked off some of the other classic ships. Maybe only one pick per movie- show would have helped. And yes there are a ton of other cool ships in anima!
NCC 1701 from TOS for me. I am also find of the NX01. Glactica from both series was awesome, especially the reboot. The Pegasus from the reboot was awesome too.
Some more ships from science fiction that are pretty cool: Dahak - An Utu-class planetoid of the Fourth Imperium that disguised itself as Earth's moon, the computer gained self awareness in time to prevent humanity's extinction. HMS Fearless (CA-286) - A Star Knight Heavy Cruiser under the command of one Captain Honor Harrington and saved a planet from a ship twice its mass crewed by religious fanatics. Helva - A Brainship which became known as The Ship Who Sang. Zaid-Dayan - A Heavy Cruiser of the Federation of Sentient Planets commanded by the vivacious Sassinak. It takes a lot to kill one of these ships, while being rather stealthy to boot. There are some great ships in science fiction which can only (currently) be found in print.
yeah! I was JUST about to complain that the White Star, (and ANY of the other races' star ships) from Babylon 5 most DEFO belong on this list! Com'on Mike! how the heck did you MISS Babylon 5?!?! or, even Space 1999 for that matter, too?!

I LOVE the Millenium Falcon and I agree there are few equally classed cultural icons in sci-fi. However, put the Falcon with Solo at the helm up against the USS Defiant with Sisko in the captain’s chair, and all my latinum is on the Defiant every time! Why the baddest ass bird in Starfleet isn’t on this list, 🤷♂️? The USS Voyager should be here as well as maybe should the Covenant Corvette and Vader’s Imperial Cruiser (instead of the basic star destroyer). Cool list, nonetheless, though.🖖🏾
Where's the Donnager or the Anubis or any other Expanse ship? I mean who does not like the Roci? Also no Babylon 5 ships? Really? You list a ton of generic metal hull ships, several from each of your fav universes, even the Borg cube, Yet you miss the conceptually advanced stuff like Minbari Sharlin, Shadows Battlecrab or Vorlon Dreadnought, not even the WhiteStar? Here's your dislike, my friend :D

The mimic circuit has been fixed the doctor just likes the blue box.
Another thumbs up for the Liberator Here. I too was scanning the comments to see if it got a mention. Zen was such a cool computer!
That's the CHAMELEON circuit.
TARDIS, not a space ship Liberator is assume though
I thought that the starships seen in starship troopers were pretty awesome! Also I am a big fan of starship interiors... cockpits specifically. Some are lame while others are breath taking
In the original series Lost In Space, the _Jupiter II_ was going to Alpha Centauri, not Alpha Prime.
& Jupiter // should be on this list imo
@@loucifer6296 i agree..
My favorite is the Heart of Gold from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
OK, what about the Rocinante - I think it looks way cooler then the Millennium Falcon which is just a flying saucer. Give me a ship that actually makes sense!
Named after Don Quixote's horse, it seems.
If we're including ships from games, how about the Andromedan Dominator from Star Fleet Battles?
You should check out rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C Clark
The rocinante kicks ass!!!!!!!!
You are so right about the Shadows they look like trouble as soon as they show up.
And where are the white stars?
How about the Andromeda.
Zellia Torsema Andromeda Ascendant . . . A good looking ship !
@@gabryaelharrisson9852 Very good looking :D. In fact i would say very arousing.
Golden Magellanic the Ascendant Class ship with a Fully Functional Avatar
Lol
Jexxie H well on Star Trek Online Kim is a Captain
Discovery 1 is not a star ship, it's a system ship. It was never meant to go to another star.
True. Discovery 1 is also the most realistic out of the whole list
I'll fight. How about the following: Atlantis, Destiny, Ori Mothership (Stargate), Krenim weapon ship, Enterprise J, Scimitar, Suurok class
ships (Trek), Moya, Decimator (Farscape), Andromeda, White star... I could go on. I think you should make a top 100 and dig deeper.
The Enterprise NCC-1701 by far
I really wish he would've picked one of the best from each universe, there is so much more than Star Wars, Star Treck and Alien
Nick Okona what about the Achilles (I think) from Andromeda
Wrong on so many Levels.....
the ship from event horizon was cool , it litterarly bent space and time and went trhu portals, came back alive.
The event horizon
Have my Like.
All the yes.
I'm surprised it wasn't on the list.
it's too scary
I quite like the Event Horizon.
USS Daedalus Stargate Atlantis. And technically Atlantis itself was a pretty awesome Starship. Oh and technically none of the Starwars fighters are starship, nor is Serenity or the ship from 2001. They're not designed for Interstellar travel.
x-Wings and some other fighters have FTL drive...
Was thinking the same thing about Atlantis and the USS Daedalus.
Daedalus from stargate atlantis NO1🤩 just f-ing awesome.
so when Luke went from Hoth to Dagoba it was in same solar system? Makes sense, from cold planet to warm one; but was not explained.
I liked the ships the Mechs (future bounty hunters) used in the third in the Pitch Black movie series "Riddick", but it was unclear if they were interstellar per se.
what are you??? 11?? of all SCI FI? what about rendevous with rama, lifeforce, space1999, Dune, babylon5, red dwarf - starwars is more like a kiddies saturday morning cartoon compared to these classics.
yah - he missed so much out!
he also missed out the lexx & the starship nemisis
He left out so much still a good vid
Lexx is definitely one worth mention, and pretty much every ship in B5. I especially liked the Shadow ships, though Vorlon planetkiller, Minbari Sharlin battlecruiser and Excalibur are pretty close to that one. Too bad that they didn't allow JMS to produce what he wanted in Crusade, that series had potential which got wasted by moronic micromanagement from the TNT network. I bet we would have had another cool set of ships from that series. Oh, and those tiny human Starfury fighters were cool even that they were vastly inferior to pretty much every other alien race fighters.
this guy is the perfect example of why everyone looks down on Star Wars fanboys
Babylon 5 has awesome ships: the white stars, planet killers, corking ships. Moya from Farscape! You missed the best ones.
I thought that you would at least include 2 - 3 ships from Jupiter Ascending. So this list is incomplete without them.
I would have put most of the alien species from Babylon 5 (Minbari, Narn, Vorlon, and Shadows.)along with Firefly and a few of the Star Trek ones in my Top 10 places. =^.^=
But what about your top 25? :D
Space:1999 - Eagle 1, Farscape - Moya, Star Trek Voyager - Species 8472 bioship, Stargate SG1 - Anubis' mothership.
You forgot the City/Starship from Stargate Atlantis
What about the Hippaforalkus? ;)
is that related to the Interstellarpolyveroterachloraminrefinery fom bsss 11?
whatever that is this just needs a list one hundred
So "Mike of List25" GET TO WORK and be a Mike of List one hundred for oen time
Good point! 😀 SGA had a weird finally, but it was definitely epic!
The City/Starships from Firefly too!
Why did you leave out space ships from Babylon 5??
Oh! If we are including video games, I think one of the coolest video game spaceships is the hyper-drive ship from the game Homeworld.
Babylon 5 warlocke class destroyer
One of my favorites is the Naboo Star fighter from The Phantom Menace, another is Mothership from Homeworld. But my absolute favorite has to be NCC-1701-D U.S.S. Enterprise.
I did love the Naboo Starfighters.
Yes my fav r 1701 d and 1701 e
Haven't started. Want the Planet Express on there. It moves the universe around it!
I didn't see the Andromeda
I was all set to scold you over not including the loveliest ship in scifi- the Close Encounters mothership. These videos always overlook it! I salute you for including my favorite spaceship! You got a like & a subscribe from me :)
Hans Solo - the only man who can still be cool after you realize he basically lives in his car.
It's just Han. Hello?
He flies his house
Lol, but what a car
How many of you think a drug trafficker is a guy to befriend?
The ""BORG"".... Aren't Conquerors (quote from John De lancie's "Q".. the BORG are the Ultimate users ... They've identified you as something to consume "as what they use!!" That's all..! )
What about the Arcadia from Captain Harlock?
Jose Felix
I'd love to see Spacedock do a video on the Arcadia and the Yamato.
I think the Lexx is a pretty cool ship.
Lexx is a seriously bad ass ship
Is the LEXX the ONLY interstellar planet-killer on the List? I think so !
My favorite is the Enterprise NCC-1701-E
Out of all the spaceships on this list, the one from 2001 A Space Odyssey appears to be the most realistic and should be the model for all future deep space spacecraft.
You would think with all the Star Wars bias in this list, you could have included the Death Star...
Gregory Reicha Battlestation, not a ship
davyt0247 so you are arguing because it is a battle station it cannot be a space ship as well? Does the Death Star move in space? Does the Death Star support any type of life aboard? Lastly, can the Enterprise be considered a battle station? Okay, maybe I stretched a bit for that last point, but the terms battle station and space ships can intermingle without nullifying each other.
Either way, it's no moon...
Gregory Reicha, if you include the Death Star among the spaceships, then you also have to include station Deep Space 9, from the Star Trek universe.
I’m pissed at the biased that star wars got at least 7 spots and other ships weren’t considered 😡 I was guessing 1 for each franchise
Despite me still enjoying Star wars, I do personally agree.
I broke it down for someone else:
Flight of the Navigator: 1
Alien: 2
Firefly: 1
Star Wars: 6
Doctor Who: 1
Star Trek: 4
Lost in Space: 1
Halo: 1
2001: 1
Stargate: 1
ID4: 1
Battlestar Galactica: 1
Mass Effect: 2
Close Encounters: 1
Guardians of the Galaxy: 1
List25 ty it still quite unbalanced I’m not as upset now that I see the numbers
Well, this was his list. Mine would be much longer. Do not get pissed, as he may not of seen the others missed.
Still, a fighter is not a real ship with a crew. It is a fighter
My favorites are: Vorlon planet killer. Species 8472 standard warship and energy focus bioships. Voth city ship. Enterprise-J.
how about Atlantis from Stargate Atlantis, it's amazing it's a city which when it's shuelds are raised can fly to other worlds. that's quite cool
To this day, nothing, not even x wings or tie fighters make me happier than seeing a wireframe Cobra mk iii spinning around in the original Elite on a BBC Micro.
The Razorback. No doubt. “You can’t take the Razorback...” -Julie Mao.
This needs more likes...
Destiny's star plasma powered FTL)
Even the original BSG has more than just the cool battlestar, the Cylon base ships ( flying yoyos without the string in looks ) were pretty awesome to see.
Ahhhh!!! No! The coolest starship in the sci-fi universe is GUNSTAR ONE from the Last Starfighter. It's got a weapon called DEATH BLOSSOM!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that.
Thane Rogar - A different generation, early days of CGI!
Yet it was pure brilliance.
Definitely would have been on my list but my #1 is Moya, the living leviathan gunship from Farscape.
Moya would certainly be in the top 5 for me.
EXCELLENT!
The Enterprise is BEST! The latest ones
the Daedalus From Stargate is Fast More powerful weapons and Give it an over all sleek design. should have given it the top spot on this list
it really should have been on the list
Oh yeah, as honorable mention... FIREBALL XL-5. Now I'm showing my age. ;^)
#14 is not the mother ship. Mother ship was blown up at the end out in space
I think he meant to say City Destroyer but nevertheless I'm happy to see anything from Independence Day on the list.
Still love your show 💕
Zerebrat Eightyseven you are right. I didn't really look at ship I just went by what he was saying and he was not talking about mother ship.
Space battleship yamato from Space battleship yamato.
The space ships you miss are white star from b5, Voyager from Voyager and the Searger from Buck Rogers
The Eagle from Space: 1999.
anacondapdx , true, but technically neither is the Discovery from 2001 which is included on this list.
@@anacondaeunectes1854 Exactly; many in this list CANNOT GET TO another star; Not Starships.
What about the Liberator from Blake's 7?
I've recently finished watching all the episodes again on RUclips. A brilliant series, with the occasional weak episode.
It's a shame that Paul Darrow didn't succeed in getting an update, or film, made. He's character, Avon, was one of the more interesting, and believable, characters from Sci-Fi.
No ships from Babylon 5?!?!?! The Narn warship is a beautiful warship. The White Star is an absolute work of art. The Excalibur is a powerful and unique ship. And what about the Andromeda Ascendant? And Voyager?
Should also have included the Stargate Atlantis City ship. its large size and design is beautiful
Plus its a beautiful Ship.
the Raza from Dark Matter
I'm working my way down the list drawing a blank on that. Thanks
That woman had a nice butt ))
Good list but I agree that Red Dwarf, The Heart of Gold, Moya from Farscape, Lexx, and Cowboy Bebop’s Sword Fish 2 should have been on this list! And yes this would have kicked off some of the other classic ships. Maybe only one pick per movie- show would have helped. And yes there are a ton of other cool ships in anima!
NCC 1701 from TOS for me. I am also find of the NX01. Glactica from both series was awesome, especially the reboot. The Pegasus from the reboot was awesome too.
Some more ships from science fiction that are pretty cool:
Dahak - An Utu-class planetoid of the Fourth Imperium that disguised itself as Earth's moon, the computer gained self awareness in time to prevent humanity's extinction.
The White Star - Babylon 5
Star Wars is a really dirty movie!!! I mean, it even has LOTS of XXX Wings!
jaspr1999 i was missing the White Stars as well..
Seems like they're forgotten by geekdom.
Definitely missing the White Star.
yeah! I was JUST about to complain that the White Star, (and ANY of the other races' star ships) from Babylon 5 most DEFO belong on this list! Com'on Mike! how the heck did you MISS Babylon 5?!?! or, even Space 1999 for that matter, too?!
EXACTLY! and half of those can probably MELT the U.S.S. enterprise with just ONE ion blast! hehe (and even a lonely Drossy saucer can take the imperial wedge out with ease hehehe) can you imagine what the Mimbari can DO to the Death Star?! or, even a Vorlon Planet Killer?!! the Imperials don't stand a chance! LOL
I didnt see a mention of Moya from farscape. Or the fact she was able to personally power and fire one of the best weapons in sci-fi history.
Refit USS Enterprise from the movies is my favourite, I shed tears when she was destroyed. Millennium Falcon is a close second though. But my large light up model of the NCC-1701-A is my pride and joy, it should be at a the price it cost me.
