This topic really resonates with me as I'm still sorting out the ground rules for what being an ethical investor means to me, but it is definitely something I'm thinking about. From the research I've done in to this (casually) on my own, I also run into what Pete in the comments was describing, where the name of the fund and it's goals comes off as impressive on the surface, and then when you look in to the actual holdings, it leaves you scratching your head, as they don't seem to match. Really glad that you brought this topic up, as I think it is extremely important and something that so easily gets missed in our pursuit of mathematical success. Cheers!
I don’t really believe in investing in a movement always helps that movement. Best way to help the company or movement would be sending them money in the form of a donation or IPO.
