This game used to be a comfort game for me and my closest friends, we’re huge SCP fans, but the game has changed a lot since the first time we played it and it’s just not as fun as it used to be. We had all sorts of stuff we built and even made our own lore to go with how we got to where 096 is, it’s a shame the game has changed so much, since honestly we loved the way it used to be.

But is prohibited from testing. There are also to be no cameras in the cube or chamber at ANY time Behaviour: SCP-096 is usually docile, roaming in it's steel cube, and often heard weeping and sobbing to itself. But once anything sees it's face, via video, picture, or real life interacting. It changes to "Attack Mode" note that any drawn representations of SCP 096's face do NOT trigger attack mode Attack Mode: SCP-096 will spend 1 to 2 minutes in an uncontrollable crying fit. Before screeching as it runs at breakneck speeds, easily beyond the speed of sound to hunt down it's prey. it can easily destroy it's reinforced steel cube and the walls of the SCP Foundation site that it is located at. It should also be noted that even 4 pixels of scp 096's face were enough to trigger said attack mode, despite the one who triggered him not even noticing 096 in the background. Backstory: SCP-096 was once a human, attempting to climb Mount Everest. he made a very good amount of progress. but was then met face to face with the king of the mountains. A reality warping monster that gets a sick kick out of torturing humans. When asked what he was doing on it's mountains, the explorer stated he'd only wanted to climb, "Then Climb You Will." was the reply from the King, before trapping the explorer in an infinite loop of climbing Mount Everest back to that point. This went on for 40 years real time, but for the explorer, no time ever passed. Eventually the King was bored. But the damage was dealt. The explorer was mutated into what we see as SCP-096 today, there are 2 theories as to why it attacks anyone seeing its face, A, the more likely is that it developed such as a defense mechanism against the King's physical attacks. And B, the much more tragic, is that it sees the Mountain king's eyes on everyone seeing tis face, and in a fury of anger and fear it attacks and kills them. leaving no body left

The keycard isn’t bought or found around the map until you get a notification saying "a keycard has been found somewhere…" but that doesn’t mean someone found it. It just means that the keycard has spawned (presumably near/behind a player or yourself).

context: SCP-096, better known as "Shy Guy" is a 7 foot tall, 1.5 meter arm lengthed, jaw dropping down to it's chest murder machine.
Containment Procedures: SCP-096 is to be kept inside a thick reinforced steel cube inside an otherwise empty containment chamber. The cube can only be opened by SCP staff with level 4 or 5 clearance. But is prohibited from testing. There are also to be no cameras in the cube or chamber at ANY time
Behaviour: SCP-096 is usually docile, roaming in it's steel cube, and often heard weeping and sobbing to itself. But once anything sees it's face, via video, picture, or real life interacting. It changes to "Attack Mode" note that any drawn representations of SCP 096's face do NOT trigger attack mode
Attack Mode: SCP-096 will spend 1 to 2 minutes in an uncontrollable crying fit. Before screeching as it runs at breakneck speeds, easily beyond the speed of sound to hunt down it's prey. it can easily destroy it's reinforced steel cube and the walls of the SCP Foundation site that it is located at. It should also be noted that even 4 pixels of scp 096's face were enough to trigger said attack mode, despite the one who triggered him not even noticing 096 in the background.
Backstory: SCP-096 was once a human, attempting to climb Mount Everest. he made a very good amount of progress. but was then met face to face with the king of the mountains. A reality warping monster that gets a sick kick out of torturing humans. When asked what he was doing on it's mountains, the explorer stated he'd only wanted to climb, "Then Climb You Will." was the reply from the King, before trapping the explorer in an infinite loop of climbing Mount Everest back to that point. This went on for 40 years real time, but for the explorer, no time ever passed. Eventually the King was bored. But the damage was dealt. The explorer was mutated into what we see as SCP-096 today, there are 2 theories as to why it attacks anyone seeing its face, A, the more likely is that it developed such as a defense mechanism against the King's physical attacks. And B, the much more tragic, is that it sees the Mountain king's eyes on everyone seeing tis face, and in a fury of anger and fear it attacks and kills them. leaving no body left

I played this game a while ago. im not sure how it happened but i got a keycard dropped on me while i was in the bedroom of the big house. it didn’t have that much inside so it’s not a huge deal. idk why it was even there considering how boring it was inside.

The keycard isn’t bought or found around the map until you get a notification saying "a keycard has been found somewhere…" but that doesn’t mean someone found it. It just means that the keycard has spawned (presumably near/behind a player or yourself).
