this is great ! when I was 16 I played this track over and over again trying to learn the piano licks. that was a job, trying to put the needle back down on the record where you wanted to start. I got to meet Jeff Beck in a bar near Philadelphia a few nights after I saw him and Stevie Ray do a concert. He just wandered into this little dive bar - the Cloud 9 outside of Phoenixville - and at the end of the night borrowed the guitar player's guitar from the band and played for us. awesome.
Thanks for this!! My friends in NYC are loving this! Beck ruled and really was just always one step ahead of his contemporaries! Remember he, clapton, page, and others were listening to buddy guy and all the other great Chicago guitarists. one american that I think could be put in this category was Mike Bloomfield. Was not as consistent, but when he was on fire, he was a force to be reckoned with!
Check out Nicky Hopkins, brilliant piano player played with The Who, Stones KInks, Airplane Quicksilver and Jerry Garcia. Check out Let it Rock live CD with Jerry.

Saw Nicky play 3 or 4 times. Meet him once. I was in awe. This is the song that introduced me to him off of TRUTH.
Lets hear it for Nicky Hopkins on piano!
When I first heard Rod! What a voice.
thank you!
De los mejores solos de Blues de JEFF BECK demuestra su riff incisivo y demoledor impone un nuevo estilo de la guitarra BLUES Rock.
I'd pay good money for a decent video of this.
