My brother's "67 375 hp 396/4spd SS had bench seat, no radio and steel wheels with dog dish caps. (It did have a heater) The car was seven years old when he bought it so YEAH, it was all factory.

That Suzuki GS1000G is actually a GS1000GK. "G" is a shaft drive and it's a K because those are factory bags and windscreen fairing (usually Vetter Windjammer).

I've always known the 442 Olds to be 400CI, 4-Barrel carb and dual exhaust. Cause they could be automatic too.

Yea but they weren’t all 400’s they built the GM metric ( G body ) mid 80’s 442 and none of them had anything close to a 400 307-305 but no 400’s …

The first 442's were put out in 1964 and they came with a 330ci engine. They didn't have 442 on the side, they had a Cutlass emblem.

Saw the green 1970 Eldorado in the thumbnail and had to click. I have the exact same car in the exact same color except mine has a black vinyl top. Definitely a keeper.

The "4-4-2" name (pronounced "Four-four-two") derives from the original car's four-barrel carburetor, four-speed manual transmission, and dual exhausts (Some maintain that the '2' indicated a limited-slip differential).

      400, 4 barrel, dual exhaust.
Honestly, these comments are the first place I've EVER heard a reference to limited slip(posi).

Almost skip beat. Lol. When he said 70 442. I've been looking to replace mine. Bought it in 80. Sold it in 82. Dallas car. You couldn't get lot of parts for 455 then and didn't know it had more torque then the 454. And all my friends had chevelles and camaros. So for cheaper way to race sold it got 70 396 nova. Didnt know how strange car was. 70 442. 455 12 bolt posi. Dual gate shifter. Tilt. Ram air hood. Now the kick. The vinyl top. Went from front to mid roof and had a curve in it on the roof. Have never seen or heard of that since. It was gold black strip package. Gold interior. Lived in duncanville at time. Sold it in ceadar hill. Course I've had lots others since then camaros novas chevelles. Still have one camaro bbc 4pd car. But that 442 has haunted me lol. And my 66 fast back gt. My dad bought new red red interior signal hoop roll bar harness on driver and passenger seat. Mom needed new car so it left. Before I had a license. Miss those to even more then my 66 396 chevelle ( that was young and dumb mistake ) or my 66 396 bench seat 4spd under dash a/c impala.

Definitely some of the better primered cars you guys have saved on camera. That person sure liked getting them to a point, covered in primer and drive them!!
The F85 sure got better looking once you got it out from the grass & crap.
