@Tazzie1312 Oh, ok. Thx. I’m new to her channel (or really, just Lolita in general). I love the look of Lolita, and the style is very unique, but it’s nothing that I would want to wear myself. The heavy layers of clothing and petticoats was never something that I felt comfortable wearing (especially because I overheat easily). Although, from all of this I’ve gathered, I’m still not really up-to-date with all the terminology yet.
As someone who has a hair disorder and wears wigs no matter what. So when you said wigs are still your hair it really gave me a heartwarming feeling. Because I always struggled with wishing it was my hair.
Honestly I loved that part and then Lor went and mentioned BALD, too!! I started loosing my hair in my early 20s, going bald was really depressing for a while, but now I'm happily shaved/bald. (I mostly just have cosplay wigs, though, but they're a lot of fun.)
For Winter Spice I think incorporating fur in maybe a bolero or detachable color would bring in the cozy winter print, even bear ears would look so cute with the jam/honey jar motif. A bag that is an orange slice would be fun, I've seen fruit bags on Ebay. Lately, diecut wooden ornaments that you could get online or at a craft store could be easily painted and used in a hair piece or jewelry!
I have my esty wish list full of orange accessories, i was thinking bear ears but wasn't sure how they would look but will definitely try those now! 👍🏾
I was thinking bear ears too! I'm not an expert, but usually I try to pull out colors in the dress or themes, and I think bear might be a good one? Maybe some furry bear ears on a headpiece tied under your chin? I turned one of my teddy bears into a backpack and I think if you had something similar maybe it would work too? Maybe also pair it with an off-white / beige / golden-yellow blouse? Just imo the whites are a bright contrast against the darker colorway of the dress.
I agree, the honey and bear motifs would look so cute as accessories. I think the styling of it is generally reliant on the colors on the dress so finding ones to complement the print are important for a unified feel.
It looks like one of the people who submitted had a decorated cane, I love that! I've been feeling pretty down about potentially having to use a cane and the idea of decorating it makes me feel a little better
i've been using a cane for 10 years now!! since I was 13, don't worry, you can make it fashion ^^ I have multiple canes and crutches and use them according to activity and style
Fairytaleprince on Instagram sometimes incorporates his came into his ouji looks and it always looks amazing. You'll need to scroll down his feed a bit, but he always looks great.
aaaaa i'm the last person (xxgumixx) and i really appreciate all the advice! my nurse cap is really different to the ones you showed, so i might look into those! i also really like the fishnet shirt idea, thank youuuu!
I feel like everyone should take some time to appreciate Lor’s wig! Such an adorable yet natural look. Especially in this video since it matches the background!!!
At 16:06 they described it as manhera, but it's really guro kawaii. Manhera is an art style and a fashion style around mental health advocacy. The art style is based around vent art, and pretty much never shows blood (to avoid triggering others). It sometimes features medical themes but not necessarily. The manhera fashion is based around something someone with a mental illness can wear, even on tougher days. Typically it's a oversized tshirt with manhera art on it, tights/leggings, and comfortable shoes. Lolita and manhera can't be mixed because of the basic principles of both fashions conflict. It could be considered guro kawaii which often features blood and medical themes.
I think a white lace pair of tights with the Winter Spice co-ord! I could even see striped socks with it for a campier halloween style look? And for shoes i think little black granny boots would be adorable, those read winter fairytale to me.
OMG!!!! Thanks for the advice Lor!! I will definitely try the graphic tshirt idea!! As for the headpiece it was cheap so it kept falling off an wouldn't stay up, so I threw it out. 🙁
in regards to @Kogazgirl95's Gone Batty Coord: when you first put up the photo of the Gone Batty coord, my first thought was how much I loved that head piece lol. But I also wear goth and I can empathize with not always wanting an ott headpiece as gorgeous as it may be. My go-to headpiece for more modern or casual goth looks is just a witchy looking wide brim black hat. I have a felt one I love that has a black band around it. I use the band to clip bows and accessories to it that match the rest of the coord. I also like doing space buns with accessories clipped in to match that punky style of shoes. it's my go-to lazy coord. If i want the more ott look to match the big headress I have Victorian looking lace up boots and as Lor said, a princess sleeve blouse.
These videos always want to make me explore Lolita fashion but committing to spending a lot of money is so hard. Plus I get afraid that I'll put on a dress and then get hit with a big wave of dysphoria. Seeing other nonbinary people who are into the fashion makes me feel better about that though. I absolutely love the black and gold coord that Eli had. So if you're out there, I think you are absolutely rocking the look!!
I’d love to see a fixing your coordnates colab video where you work with the individuals behind the scene providing advice so you can make a video where you show their coord your advice and the finished creation after they took your advice
Devil Inspired, I was going to place an order of about US$100, however shipping to Australia was calculated at US$70. If shipping was cheaper, I'd happily order! 💕
I actually had issues with something I ordered from them and they were very helpful we exchanged many emails and they were very helpful with me at least!
For Winter Spice I think it would look cute with a Knit sweater in a matching yellow, Some Warm looking Boots, Apple themed head piece Like make it Yule or Winter solstice themed
@ kogazgirl95 my advice for winter spice would be to try a different hairstyle and headpiece, brushed out locks or afro would look so adorable (if you want to stay with your coils maybe put them in high buns or tails?), i saw the print has little gingerbread pieces on it, maybe try to find a headpiece which picks up the whole "gingerbread aesthetic" making one yourself would be also an idea (maybe decorate a plain navy blue bow with some actual spices like cinnamon sticks and star anis, could also work with a berret) in my opinion the boots would go with it if it wasn't for the blouse, headpiece and lace gloves, if you'd like to stick with the boots maybe try to find a simple brown cotton blouse and for accessoires maybe a few pins on the collar which go with the theme)
I think the gothic belt with hands you're thinking about is Voodooodolly's Lover's Embrace belt buckle! ITs a beautiful piece but Voodooodolly doesn't have them in stock right now.
Eli's coord, before I got reminded that it was a lolita coord, gives me the impression of men's fashion during Shakespeare's era, like those coats + doublet + hose outfits and it's really cool on it's own. It'll also be really cool if he wore a beret (?) or a tricorn with a huge feather and gold trims XD (I hope my first impression isn't offensive or anything ;A;)
I admire so much how you express yourself and how mindful you are about different experiences. I love that you do your research and try as best as you can to be inclusive, and still "passing the mic" to someone who could give better information or someone who lives a specific experience. You really inspire me to grow as a person. Love from Chile, Lor. And I truly hope you're having a good time, and I hope you and your loved ones are safe 💗🌱
I wish you would do a video about using shopping services and taobao Lor. The community seems to be pushing resellers on to newbies to Lolita and telling them it’s cheap and easy and it’s really not truthful. I ordered from DI because of your videos and honestly I feel ripped off with their insane markups. They are the most expensive reseller at 180% markup. If you want proof rosequartzroyalty has a blog post about it and she breaks down the same dress in all the different resellers. 😑 I’ll never order from DI again. It was a very unpleasant experience and I regret that I made three preorders. 😑
Amanda ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ I agree ! I’ve only done one on Chinese Lolita Updates so far because I had planned to do about 5 others this year and they have all been set back or cancelled because of coronavirus. I really want to focus on more shopping services and indie brands but because they often aren’t able to or won’t sponsor / collaborate with RUclipsrs it takes me a lot longer because I have to budget it out with my own money. I’m definitely open to doing more and if you have any suggestions of ones you would like to see please let me know! I can reach out to them and add them to my to do list
For Bacoose, i would love to see a sheer gold blouse with a similar sleeves as the black one they have. Plus the for the top, i would love to see more dramtic earing cuffs with those temporary geometric black and gold tatoos to decorate the face.
I think if you don't want to use a reseller like DI, it can still be a good search engine. If you find an item you like you can pretty much google that item name or brand name and find it on taobao rather than dealing with navigating taobao.
For Jade on the Winter Spice. I would love to see a use of light blue tights, and the blouse with a ruffle detail or similar like the current one she uses, to be a light cool tone grey with a brown hat or Beret with the bow on top and some semi retro braclettes or to get gloves of that color of yellow.
Ok, Kohl’s right now has really cute sheer sleeves and Peter Pan collar blouses in both Lauren Conrad and Elizabeth and James brands. If anyone wants a cute idea, find ribbons that matches the accent colors in your dress, grab plain buster brown socks and braid them over the rolled top.
lived the shock of my life sitting down to watch this and seeing MY GOOD FRIEND BACOOSE halfway through!! 💜 but thank you, lor, for your kind words about short hair - my haircut is really similar to his and i struggle with headpieces, too. it was really encouraging to hear that short hair doesn't need anything if it's neatly styled, so thank you! for more short hair ideas, i've found that hats have been working really well for me - i have some wide-brim/fedora-style wool felt hats and a few big straw garden hats that i like to wear halo-style (i guess? with the brim tipped back, not pulled down over my brow). i find that with those kinds of hats, i can still show my hair style/color a bit under the brim but still get some visual action at the top of my silhouette, plus i can put clips on the underside of the hat since my sides are shaved so i can't clip them to my hair, lol. i don't intend this to be a plug but i liked how i styled my hat in this coord and hopefully this example can help other folks with short/shaved hair! instagram.com/p/CCO8OUvjz_C/
I LOVE that winter spice dress! I would love to see you pump up the volume on the country/cottage-core aesthetic. The most important thing I think you could do for this coord and all your future coords is to get blouses with longer sleeves and less ruffle around the neck. For someone with your proportions, I would recommend elbow length sleeves or longer. Maybe Bishop's sleeves? The shortie little capped sleeves and the lace ruff give the impression that you are being squeezed and strangled. You don't deserve to be treated that way by your shirt! Everything else I'm going to mention is stuff that I think would look cool, but is really more a matter of personal taste: Straw hat would be great. Try moving the chest bow up and incorporating it in a headpiece. A blouse with a Peter Pan collar. A blouse with a mandarin collar. A blouse with more stitched texture like pin tucks or embroidery instead of lace. Ditch the gloves. They are too formal for the rest of the coord; maybe go for knitted fingerless gloves instead - maybe even ones with a ruffle (but not a lace ruffle). Try a golden or a red cardigan sweater. Do you remember those backpack bears from like 1997? That would be so cute! Try some textured tights, or some gold ones. And boots, lots of boots. And, when you've tried all the boots, take a look at the Korkease Bellota shoes in suede. I bet that would look a dream. I'm sorry for throwing so much at you, but this dress is just so cute, and the two of us look so similar; it really inspired me!
OK so I was just watching the video where you asked if it's necessary to tell people not to wear an accessory at the hairline; at 2:31 in this video I thought oh yes it is a mistake other people make. I was so embarrassed at that other video thinking I was the only one who had ever done that in my ita phase lol 7:17 without a petti the dress reminds me of a coat. I love the elegant gothic/ouija look of that co-ord without a petti. I hope we get to see the "afters" of these!
For kogazgirl95, the boots look great with the coord, just need a pair of white stockings/knee high socks to bring it all together (and if you want to add some more spice, maybe a pair of ballet shoes). Maybe wear wrist cuffs instead of full on gloves (they just feel out of place with this)?
To people saying DI overcharges: yes devilinspired does a markup on all of the taobao items they list on their site. It is their way of adding a service fee to their website just like a Taobao shopping service - but because they don't straightforwardly add a service fee, they can charge you more without you noticing. I would consider DA and LW like alt fashion reseller sites like Syndrome Store, Spreepicky, Youvimi, Anibiu, etc. although those stores markup their price to be 4-5x as high as the original. A 10-12 USD wig from Taobao is 40 USD on Youvimi. And you still have to pay for shipping. Seriously don't buy from those resellers. You can reverse image search on Taobao to find the original item. Sites like devilinspired and lolitawardrobe are nice for finding items or ordering if you really don't want to deal with the hassle of a shopping service or ordering directly, but it is possible to order from Taobao yourself (Taobao has its own warehouse system so you can also consolidate your items from different sellers into one shipment). It is the cheapest to order directly from Taobao. There is a guide on HowtoTao, and there are several different lolita made spreadsheets with relevant Taobao search terms, order and preorder help, and lolita stores links! I literally accidentally found them via search engine.
I also have the gone batty outfit, a biker jacket with some nice pins would also add some edge to the overall look, and compliment the yru shoes. I would also change the pair of tights with fishnets with 3D and holographic objects or some edgy pattern style. Best :)
I think for xxgumixx it would be cool to find a crimson/burgundy blouse in a similar style to the one in the photo and have some black wide fishnet tights as they’re good for summer. From there, some shoes similar to the ones worn would work but with a bigger platform so it’s a little more edgy. I’d maybe swap the beret for some white bunny ears to match the print on the dress and place either a bright pink or burgundy bow in front of the ears :). Might be better for a more OTT look rather than casual but I think it would look cute together :)!
Honestly devilinspired is really great, i had an issue with my order and didnt even realise but they did and sent me an email! (I accidentally managed to order something out of stock??? Was tots my fault or a bug or something) but they refunded me in the way i wanted it to. They proposed a total refund, either cash fully refunded on my bank account or either cash on my devilinsoired account or buy something else for the same price! The only problem was i feel like we had trouble communicating and a lot of emails were sent, they especially asked me to confirm multiple times for the same thing and it was a bit annoying and delayed my order. But otherwise, i bought from them again and since there was no problem with my new order, well no confirmations to do and my things came quickly!
I had the same problem with an out of stock item, I don't think it could have been your fault. Watching a few review videos for DI I learned that the website will list things that are out of stock. I was offered the same options, and I managed to find a replacement, and I made sure to be super specific about what I wanted, with links and photos and size and colour.
I’m drawing a coordinate with this exact photo 18:26 but white idk if we’re allowed to draw coordinates then submit them or if you’re even doing this anymore sooo
@kagzgirl I would even introduce a little red into the color pallet. The rules are usually pull from the print but I feel if you were to add a little jewel-toned red in the accessories it’ll make the dress pop. A red hair clip tied into a red ribbon somewhere. TINY little accents
I have a note for Eli. Your coord is very much my style, I think a halo style crown could be very cool, incorporating gold into the head accessory. I like the shoes and tights, but think they blend together too much. Maybe gold shoe would balance the colors a bit. If you are willing to incorporate makeup; I think a dark smokey eye or a cut crease could be cool
Would you ever consider having Atun Shei Films fix co-ordinates in the guise of the VVitchfinder General? Whether you'd have him do for Hallowe'en or April Fools Day, I don't know which would be better.
I just bought the black and gold circular headpiece with the feathers from Sweet Mildred that you show at 15:34 ! It arrived today and is absolutely lovely. I actually think it might go nice with Bacoose’s dress!
@Cutesy_Nay For the first one the print is very bold, I'd think change either the shoes or the socks simply because they look slightly brand compared to the strong crown and skirt colors. Also yes, go for comfort, parentings hard and you deserve it. @ (I forgot the name) I think gold and black is an adorable conversation as well as the short hair. I think maybe a mini hat or side hanging bola hat would work for head gear. @Kogazgirl95 I think the most for the first one is maybe longer grooves? The second one is think longer sleeves could work balance it out as the vail alters the over all shape. I'm a little biased but I like the shoes, their cute (Also did Lor call "Malificent" a horror?) @_XxGUMIxX For other headpiece maybe you could part the wig from the bangs behind your ears with maybe a pink gingham bandana tied at the top? Might help with the heat. Mary Janes could work as different shoes?
Every time I order from Devil inspired I make sure to put you as the reference I don’t know if it actually helps you, but I want them to keep giving you money 😂
Lot of women seem to have this fear of short hair, short hair works for a lot of you, specially those of African descent (yes I would know, I have that hair type and I REALLY wanted long hair, the "Gothic Vampire" look, so i grew my hair out long, it looked terrible on me, eventually I gave up and cut it short and it looks much better, If you have long hair and its a huge pain to style it and make it look the way you want CUT IT!!! a flattering short cut so much better than a non flattering long cut.
Hey Lor, weird question for you! After at least a decade of pining, thinking I could never pull off the style because I'm a curvy, tall girl with a large chest, learning to sew and starting a costuming business, and looooooots of encouragement from my husband... I'm finally working on making (literally from scratch) my first lolita coord! If I sent you sketches and fabric swatches, is that something that would fit in one of your "fixing" videos? I'd really be interested in your help. (Also side note, it really speaks to how much I respect you that I've been watching all your stuff, I actually have severe clinical coulrophobia that I haven't gotten treatment for yet and the fact that I didn't panic the first time you mentioned working as a clown really surprised my hubby lol!! So thanks for being my "step one" of exposure therapy haha. I have a history of blackouts and vomiting from triggers so I really need to work on it anyway.)
I dont know how I ended up here. I dont wear lolita, never did, and dont plan to (mostly because I am not really into fashion) but yet I am here, looking at fashion content. Must be Lor's amazing personality.
I've nearly ordered from Devil Inspired a few times, but the shipping cost always makes me back away. It does seem to have gone down recently, but even for a pair of $19 dollar stockings, shipping is an extra $16 (or a $4 pair with $18 in shipping). I understand importing things can be expensive, but the shipping cost is always a huge stopping block for me
I actually just made my first purchase from devil inspired lol. I think they're pretty great but I'm trying to buy a wa-lolita coord and they don't seem to have any folding fans? I'd love if that would change (or if anyone has some suggestions as to where I could find some pastel pink/purple folding fans)
I think the dress from advice #2 can look more lolita if worn with sheer black blouse with long sleeves with some volume at the top and lace at the bottom.
The belt youre thinking of is the 'LOVER'S EMBRACE BELT' by VOODOOODOLLY the design is unfortunately stolen from them a lot, if you see that exact hands belt design on another website please dont buy it as it is stolen :(
Speaking of hair, is there anything I could do with mine??? I STRUGGLE with it because it's so long. It's over 2 feet long and I really dont know how to style it besides just wearing it down or doing 2 braids 🥺😭
Not a criticism on DevilInspired or affordable lolita, but the bear being cut off is definitely the kind of lack of care in the patterning that separates them... Still, the shape is right. It's cute. A valid option!
The fact that the yellow ribbon on the print does not line up from bodice to skirt is an insult to the eyes and I will never forgive diamond honey for this because it I cannot focus on how cute your coord is.
how funny, i just bought my very first coord from devilinspired last night... i hope it turns out well and looks at cute in person as it did in the pictures 🙏
Question for people in the comments Is wearing a salopette without a petticoat but with lolita items still lolita like could I wear that to a meet up? I know salopettes are sort of debated on if they are lolita so I’m just curious for more opinions
I am just starting out and I have alot of questions can you be a lolita if you don´t like prints? I only really like plain dresses or just diffrent fabrics together but don´t really care about prints and all the videos I have seen lolitas talk so much about how hard it is to get these prints and how proud they are so I am just wondering can you wear lolita without a blouse? I read online that that is possible if the jsk has a fancy top as it is but I am not sure can you wear lolita without leg wear? I hooestly don´t like tights at all and don´t see myself byuing frilly socks since I do not like lace frills are there other options? I cannot figure out what my lolita style is my mood always swings between super colorful thigns or black stuff so I am really not sure I am not a real sweet lolita since I do not like lace alot but gothic is just to black for me all the time hoe do I figure out what style I could really built a wardrobe for? if I don´t like lace or prints and just love the shape and details of simple dresses am I a lolita at all? any help or advice would be really great thank you all
cat B. I’m not very into Lolita as much as others but I can help answer them: 1: yes there are a lot of solid print Lolita dresses out there and it is totally fine to not like prints 2: generally speaking you have to wear a blouse with your jsk. There are simpler blouses out there so the coord doesn’t get overwhelmed 3: I don’t exactly know if it’s ok whether or not you can wear tights with your coord or not. Generally speaking I think that some sort of tights or socks would bring the whole coord together. 4: if you’re going between gothic and sweet you can always find a way to mix up the styles so that they can blend together and look awesome. I’m just saying you do not need to take my words like the Bible because Lolita is just a fashion. People can get the idea with or without doing any of the stuff you wasted.
I'm not really into Lolita (hadn't even heard of it) your video came up as youtube's suggestion and even tho I don't dress Lolita I really enjoy your videos, you have such a sweet personality I subscribed and wish you luck on your channel. I'll be watching more of your videos
[kogazgirl95's Winter Spice:] Okay but adding a pop of red? is it just me? Maybe by changing to red shoes, or a red bag, if you're okay with changing up the vibe a bit. I think the coord looks great and really if you want to add more brown then try pairing the coord with a brown bag. It would look good even if you changed your shoes to red, depending on the shade of brown.
Hi Lor!! I'm not sure if anyone would see this but I ordered from devilinspired in January for a preorder that would be a 2 month wait but I didnt mind at all!! The dress was really really pretty x.x unfortunately it's still not here yet, I'm not sure what to do either being that my grandfather has the codes to my order and he hasnt given them to me even though I asked, which is ok he probably forgot!! But they cant tell me any information about it until I have the codes x.x I'm not sure if my package got lost in shipping or if anything happened..is there anything that I could do??
i’m just writing in the comments for people’s opinions. i love lolita fashion but i have so many different styles, i guess against lolita i dress more basic but do you think it’s okay to pick different parts of lolita styles and incorporate them in your own style or do you think you should go full out lolita?
It’s perfectly fine to pick parts out of it but I wouldn’t try and call it lolita if you did! Make it to ur own style, if you wanted to go full lolita feel free but IMO it’s fine to make your own style with it as an inspiration (just don’t call it lolita I suppose)

I was thinking bear ears too! I'm not an expert, but usually I try to pull out colors in the dress or themes, and I think bear might be a good one? You're so transparent and I love you, Lor. I appreciate the extraordinary amount of effort that goes into these videos. YOU stay lovely

@@ashton2191 She's a rip-off of Pixielocks who is an attention seeking person as well, so...yeah.
I think a white lace pair of tights with the Winter Spice co-ord! I could even see striped socks with it for a campier halloween style look? And for shoes i think little black granny boots would be adorable, those read winter fairytale to me.
Thanks for the advice 🥰
OMG!!!! Thanks for the advice Lor!! I will definitely try the graphic tshirt idea!! As for the headpiece it was cheap so it kept falling off an wouldn't stay up, so I threw it out. 🙁
both your coords looked super awesome!
second coord: witch hat!! a black one with a gold ribbon would be super cute especially
in regards to @Kogazgirl95's Gone Batty Coord:
when you first put up the photo of the Gone Batty coord, my first thought was how much I loved that head piece lol.
I love how you addressed the hair with showing the article and being open about it without cutting out the clip. Your videos are always great!
Omg i Know Saxon! That’s my friend! She runs our com in DFW! I agree with the graphic tee or princess sleeves or bishop sleeves and a witch hat! ♥️
I love the bright red lip with this look!!! It works so well.
I really like bacooses outfit, even if it’s not traditional Lolita. It really shows their sense of style and i think it’s a really unique look
It'll also be really cool if he wore a beret (?) or a tricorn with a huge feather and gold trims XD
(I hope my first impression isn't offensive or anything ;A;)
I admire so much how you express yourself and how mindful you are about different experiences.
For the dinosaur coord, I think a cream or gold blouse would really step the look up.
Could you link the blog post, I can't find it :/
For Bacoose, i would love to see a sheer gold blouse with a similar sleeves as the black one they have.
Omg I'm first🥺 thank u for telling us about devilinspired it helped a LOT
OK so I was just watching the video where you asked if it's necessary to tell people not to wear an accessory at the hairline; at 2:31 in this video I thought oh yes it is a mistake other people make. I was so embarrassed at that other video thinking I was the only one who had ever done that in my ita phase lol
7:17 without a petti the dress reminds me of a coat.
Thanks for the advice 🥰
Best :)
Gone Batty dress, sorry :3
Thanks for the advice 🥰
Time to get cozy.. Thank you for the timely upload, Lor 😌
I love your red Lolita dress with the white blouse! It stands out really beautifully ☺️❤️
I’m getting a jsk from them and it’s my first ever Lolita item and I’m very excited
Lor!!! I want a video with non typical hairstyles for loita!!!!
I don’t even wear Lolita but these are some of my fav videos. I just love seeing people I. Their element be creative
I'm here for edgey-weird Lor 💀💕💀💕
im not lolita irl but Lor your content is godlike, im so entertained and interested. you are so welcoming for anyone and anything it melts my heart
I’m drawing a coordinate with this exact photo 18:26 but white idk if we’re allowed to draw coordinates then submit them or if you’re even doing this anymore sooo
Where's your wig from? It's amazing
Omg eli's coord is cool ;__; all the personalization is awesome and that necklace is great
Just wanted to say your outfit and make-up looks AMAZING in this video!!!
@kagzgirl
I would even introduce a little red into the color pallet. The rules are usually pull from the print but I feel if you were to add a little jewel-toned red in the accessories it’ll make the dress pop. A red hair clip tied into a red ribbon somewhere. TINY little accents
I loooove when you suggest unconventional things like not wearing a blouse😂👏🏽it makes me so happy
Ugh and then you brought up the afro hair differences, amazing. You’re so thorough and respectful and I freakin love it!!!!
And the baldness call out!!! I’m done now. Love it👏🏽♥️
omg lor love this lippy on you!!!
Me: :(
Lor: Puts out a video
Me: :)
Graphic tee with lolita I have never heard of that I think it could be fun
I have a note for Eli. Your coord is very much my style, I think a halo style crown could be very cool, incorporating gold into the head accessory. I like the shoes and tights, but think they blend together too much. Maybe gold shoe would balance the colors a bit. If you are willing to incorporate makeup; I think a dark smokey eye or a cut crease could be cool
I LOOOOOOVE the way @_xxGUMIxX_ styled that JSK! I'm so inspired to wear mine now!!!
I LOVE DEVIL INSPIRED. honestly it’s really easy for me as a beginner lolita and until I knew about the store I didn’t know any trusty resellers.
Would you ever consider having Atun Shei Films fix co-ordinates in the guise of the VVitchfinder General?
Whether you'd have him do for Hallowe'en or April Fools Day, I don't know which would be better.
I swear I just saw that dress that Bacoose is wearing the other day but I can't remember where
Your wig is so cute
I just bought the black and gold circular headpiece with the feathers from Sweet Mildred that you show at 15:34 ! It arrived today and is absolutely lovely. I actually think it might go nice with Bacoose’s dress!
@Cutesy_Nay
For the first one the print is very bold, I'd think change either the shoes or the socks simply because they look slightly brand compared to the strong crown and skirt colors.
Also yes, go for comfort, parentings hard and you deserve it.
@ (I forgot the name)
I think gold and black is an adorable conversation as well as the short hair. I think maybe a mini hat or side hanging bola hat would work for head gear.
@Kogazgirl95
I think the most for the first one is maybe longer grooves?
The second one is think longer sleeves could work balance it out as the vail alters the over all shape. I'm a little biased but I like the shoes, their cute
(Also did Lor call "Malificent" a horror?)
@_XxGUMIxX
For other headpiece maybe you could part the wig from the bangs behind your ears with maybe a pink gingham bandana tied at the top? Might help with the heat.
Mary Janes could work as different shoes?
Hand belt is from voodooodolly!
I have only ever seen those hand belt buckles for at least $300, donno where people are getting them for a reasonable price...
I love your coord vids so much 😍
Every time I order from Devil inspired I make sure to put you as the reference
I don’t know if it actually helps you, but I want them to keep giving you money 😂
I understand importing things can be expensive, but the shipping cost is always a huge stopping block for me
I hope you do more gothic lolita fixing coordinates.
What do you call it when you find the middle way in fashion?
Balance-iaga.
:D
I actually just made my first purchase from devil inspired lol. I think they're pretty great but I'm trying to buy a wa-lolita coord and they don't seem to have any folding fans? I'd love if that would change (or if anyone has some suggestions as to where I could find some pastel pink/purple folding fans)
I think the dress from advice #2 can look more lolita if worn with sheer black blouse with long sleeves with some volume at the top and lace at the bottom.
The belt youre thinking of is the 'LOVER'S EMBRACE BELT' by VOODOOODOLLY the design is unfortunately stolen from them a lot, if you see that exact hands belt design on another website please dont buy it as it is stolen :(
You got me into Lolita and your super pretty! Thought I should just mention it :D
where can such a hand belt be bought? 😍
i think the one she's talking about is this one but i dont think there's any more in stock on her store ;v;
instagram.com/p/Br3W_F3nGhh/?hl=en
I'm really sad Devil inspired doesn't ship to my country... but than again not a lot of shops do, so i don't know what i was expecting
I find devilinspired to be pretty affordable/low priced - am I missing something?
Instead of no.blouse what about a mesh top under it with probably black
I like Devilinspired, and I'd honestly like to buy from them but they really don't have any classic lolita that can fit a larger bust.
I’ve had trouble with that as well. A lot of their OPs don’t fit my bust. Same with their blouses that only come in one size
Question for people in the comments
Is wearing a salopette without a petticoat but with lolita items still lolita like could I wear that to a meet up? I know salopettes are sort of debated on if they are lolita so I’m just curious for more opinions
I am just starting out and I have alot of questions
can you be a lolita if you don´t like prints? I only really like plain dresses or just diffrent fabrics together but don´t really care about prints and all the videos I have seen lolitas talk so much about how hard it is to get these prints and how proud they are so I am just wondering
can you wear lolita without a blouse? I read online that that is possible if the jsk has a fancy top as it is but I am not sure
can you wear lolita without leg wear? I hooestly don´t like tights at all and don´t see myself byuing frilly socks since I do not like lace frills are there other options?
I cannot figure out what my lolita style is my mood always swings between super colorful thigns or black stuff so I am really not sure I am not a real sweet lolita since I do not like lace alot but gothic is just to black for me all the time hoe do I figure out what style I could really built a wardrobe for?
if I don´t like lace or prints and just love the shape and details of simple dresses am I a lolita at all?
any help or advice would be really great thank you all
cat B. I’m not very into Lolita as much as others but I can help answer them:
1: yes there are a lot of solid print Lolita dresses out there and it is totally fine to not like prints
2: generally speaking you have to wear a blouse with your jsk. There are simpler blouses out there so the coord doesn’t get overwhelmed
3: I don’t exactly know if it’s ok whether or not you can wear tights with your coord or not.
What did devilinspired do?
did it bother anyone else that in the beginning of the video that the bangs to lor's wig were messed up kinda
All here for egy lor!!
