Why is HAL the only contracted company for military aviation 🤔 Like other superpowers have 2 or more manufacturers in the military aviation industry: Russia: Tupolev (they are the experts in bombers), Sukhoi and Mikoyan-Gurevich (MiG) USA: Lockheed-Martin, Northprop-Grumann, Boeing and more China: Chengdu and Shenyang European Union: Dassault aviation, Airbus, BAE systems, SAAB (although these can develop aircraft independently, the countries they are based in do joint development which results in collaboration between these companies to develop aircraft e.g. Eurofighter typhoon)
PVT sector can bring foreign talent.. at the price govt can't give.. learn from the history of Marut (first Indian fighter aircraft), they just bought guess 1 German guy. If later defence industry did NOT succumb to socialism and corrupted deals then, we would have been ahead of china by now for sure..
These official's are still in dream land. They obviously rely on american engines for all fighter jet programs. And that american company doesn't have any willingness in giving engines to india on time. Since this is the reality, why are they acting as if fighter jets will be ready very soon. Why cant they shift their focus on kaveri engine project and fasten the development process of it?
India wil keep saying but never do just buy SU-57 from Russia we can't wait for amca, until amca wil be delivered til then China and Pakistan wil have 7th or 8th generation fighter jets
One of the biggest mistakes of IAF was to go with “single engine” fighters. Had they gone for dual engines then the current Kaveri engines would have been enough for MK1A and MK2.
@@kishoreannavajjhala9432 those are outdated jets. Anyone can make those in short time. They didn't have sophisticated tech in those jets at that time.
Because social media users panicked, we cannot produce jet in 1 year. There is a process to build a jet and it takes years. Only thing is HAL is super lazy
@vaimurthy yes that is the point!!!. All the people here know that ecil, hal etc have never produced one ground breaking or state of the art product in 50 years
I think it's due to funds issue as companies don't want to put there money on r&d and just want to Manufacture by tot. You know they just want to make profits.
Most private players want a quick return on their investments. The huge cost, long gestation periods for developing aircraft, then testing and certification deters most.
@@vaimurthy see whatever they are doing is according to their plans and business, I am no one to judge , for example in recent years adani dristi drone and tatas with Collab to airbus is a great initiative. In this way they will learn something and may apply in future products. And I answered to the above question why private firms don't bring there own products, it's just because funds.
I think HAL is under resourced with manpower, skills, technical knowhow to meet the airforces current threat levels in providing aircraft that can stand its ground against the PAKs and Chinese ,therefore to be realistick the Indian Air Force should procure 5th and Sixth generation fighters from foreign suppliers and let HAL carry on with its developments and who knows maybe they will get lucky and deliver something in the next 10 years as it has taken 40 years to develop a jet engine that cannot be fitted to the Tejas because it is under powered, have they not learnt about reverse engineering 😊
High time Private players like Tata, Mahindra and then Reliance/Adani etc join the defence sector as major full on manufacturers for aircrafts. Plus start the commercial aircraft and engine companies. We have more than enough capability to have our own giants.
By the time Tejas MK2 enters serial production in 2029, china will already have a squadron of 6th generation fighters and even pakistan will have a squadron or 2 of 5th gen fighters and MRFA tender will still be going on, that's the sad reality
India should go for procuring another 36 rafale and 114 euro fighter typhoon from the mrfa project. This will enhance Indian airforce power and give an edge over chinese in technology
A 100%. Give the control of the Aircraft development to Airforce. Give it as a pilot project and keep checks and balances in place by regularly reviewing the progress. I believe that is a sure shot way of achieving self reliance in Aircraft manufacturing and development.
I think India should buy Su-57 to show the western countries, if they do not accelerate their production to assist India or help its indigenous programs India will lean towards Russia. This will also be a stop gap measure until we get our own advanced fighters.
Don't worry, this is just a model. China is only a developing country, so it is impossible to have such high technology. India is a superpower in Asia. India's brilliant fighter can easily beat j20, and India is still 20 years ahead of China.
I agree India is for behind. In the meantime China may disintegrate. The way Chinese leader is purging his military leaders it may break under its own weight
The suggestion to get the Airforce as a key stakeholder for heading projects (Tejas Mk2 & AMCA) should be accepted for sure. That being said, for Tejas Mk2, a proper timeline for induction, production and delivery should be discussed by HAL with IAF. For eg. Oct 2025- Roll Out Oct 2026- First Flight Oct 2028- Orders (120 Tejas Mk2) Oct 2029- IOC Induction Oct 2031 (T+3)- FOC Induction IAF shall request HAL to complete Tejas Mk1A production (including 97 additional Tejas Mk1A) by mid 2031- For that HAL will have to ramp up its production to 24 Aircrafts Per Annum atleast. Tejas Mk1A and Tejas Mk2 are very essential for the IAF as they will not only replace Mig 21 but also replace Jaguars and Mirage 2000 by mid 2030s. People who say skip Tejas Mk2 don't understand that without Tejas Mk2, there won't be any AMCA. Tejas Mk2 is the bridge to AMCA. China started producing J20 and J31 after completing production of J10 and J16 which are 4-4.5 gen. fighters.
@vaimurthy I have not missed that. Actually according to the timeline provided by ADA, they have mentioned prototype testing to be completed within 2 years after first flight, scheduled by mid 2026 followed by induction in 2029. I have on the other hand taken 5 years of Testing (including IOC) between mid 2026 and mid 2031.
@@advaityachandhoke1406 Normally after first flight prototype testing takes 5 - 7 years. There is a reason for that. That is also the reason that they usual make 4 - 5 prototypes. I don't know what the govt and kadi ninda is doing. We have neither the quantity nor the quality to match china. china will still take a few years to test, perfect and induct their 6th gen fighters. This will be the last time window we have. We must complete our AMCA, Tejas 2, indegenous engines, etc before time to not miss this time window. Also, start conceptualizing, designing, making the 6.5 gen fighters as soon as amca is ready. Make sure iaf places a big order for amca so as to make multiple production lines for amca and induct atleast 1000 amcas because the chinese are also going to induct 1000 j 20s. We must execute GE f414 deal asap with 100% tech transfer. Throw money at USA or France or Russia for the jet engine technology. Also keep working on our indegenous engine. Make all the necessary infrastructure for it.

The Internal Weapons bay on AMCA is too small for 6th generation standards. Ideally it should carry atleast 6 Long Range Air to Air missiles, and capacity should be over 2500 kg internally. And also the Tail wings increase the RCS a lot.
Yes but need to fast-track thepwnding programmes need more private players and gain expertise india can also procure some su 57 aircrafts and ask Russia's help in technologies and other aeronautical companies to involve in these programmes nobeed Tejas mark 2 concentrate in amca 5 th and 6 th gen aircraft patents and tedbf programmes because Tejas can't compete with heavy stealthy fighters
I strongly believe that we will have fully operational 5th gen by 2035, forget about 6th gen, atleast the pace has picked up in last 5 years but we are still way behind our neighbors.
While we're stuck with Tejas MK2 By 2029 China could create 7 th gen fighter jet. How??? Strong Funding, Large Industrial testing of Different essential components, Strong commitment by the Govt, zero hesitation by the Military on choosing What is needed
Change the design of Tejas Mark 2 and make it like SU-75, Because all 4.5 generation fighters are retired in the year 2050. So if we make 4.5 generation fighters in 2030 then we again create fighter jets generation gap.

Lets make a video about how Tejas mk1 is better than f22...
😆
Sorry we are sensible people we know the limitations of Tejas unlike you guys who says jf17 is better than F22 😊

Why is HAL the only contracted company for military aviation 🤔
Like other superpowers have 2 or more manufacturers in the military aviation industry:
Russia: Tupolev (they are the experts in bombers), Sukhoi and Mikoyan-Gurevich (MiG)
USA: Lockheed-Martin, Northprop-Grumann, Boeing and more
China: Chengdu and Shenyang
European Union: Dassault aviation, Airbus, BAE systems, SAAB (although these can develop aircraft independently, the countries they are based in do joint development which results in collaboration between these companies to develop aircraft e.g. Eurofighter typhoon)
If hal lacks skill
India has no other platform 😂
PVT sector can bring foreign talent.. at the price govt can't give.. learn from the history of Marut (first Indian fighter aircraft), they just bought guess 1 German guy. If later defence industry did NOT succumb to socialism and corrupted deals then, we would have been ahead of china by now for sure..

HAL should include an arrangement to involve I.I.T
Kanpur in engine development
These official's are still in dream land. They obviously rely on american engines for all fighter jet programs. And that american company doesn't have any willingness in giving engines to india on time. Since this is the reality, why are they acting as if fighter jets will be ready very soon. Why cant they shift their focus on kaveri engine project and fasten the development process of it?
India wil keep saying but never do just buy SU-57 from Russia we can't wait for amca, until amca wil be delivered til then China and Pakistan wil have 7th or 8th generation fighter jets
Boasting of what we are about to do is far more easier than producing results.
Tejas Mk2 is still in drawing board.
9th as well.Perhaps 10th also.
印度要被他们自己拖入军备竞赛了😂
Yes, India can leapfrog to 6th G, but that's only happen in PPT and dream for sure.
以印度的研发能力直接跨越研发7代机
One of the biggest mistakes of IAF was to go with “single engine” fighters. Had they gone for dual engines then the current Kaveri engines would have been enough for MK1A and MK2.
The fact of the matter is that India cannot fully independently manufacture stable rifle cartridges, including equipment
Yes I agree on that remove burocratic control and gave control to IAF officials for fast procurement s ................

When india is in urgent need of fighter jets, why is it so that the first flight of Tejas mk2 in 2026 and production starts from 2029.
Without computers Russia and the USA produced different aircraft from scratch to air in the 4 yrs of ww2. Thousands of Aircraft.
@@kishoreannavajjhala9432 We are sitting on the file for 114 MRFA for the last ten years ,without deciding .

Are their no private player's interested in showcasing their tech to the Indian army, airforce and navy like some others have.
I think it's due to funds issue as companies don't want to put there money on r&d and just want to
Manufacture by tot.
You know they just want to make profits.
Also big lobby for import is there. What can small fry companies do?
Most private players want a quick return on their investments. The huge cost, long gestation periods for developing aircraft, then testing and certification deters most.
@@aadityarajthakur2330 Because that is how they learn know how. You expect them to invest in a project where they lack experience?
@@vaimurthy see whatever they are doing is according to their plans and business, I am no one to judge , for example in recent years adani dristi drone and tatas with Collab to airbus is a great initiative. In this way they will learn something and may apply in future products.
And I answered to the above question why private firms don't bring there own products, it's just because funds.
This too shall pass.
India must allow indian private companies to make 6th generation fighter jets
They don't have knowledge or technology
I think HAL is under resourced with manpower, skills, technical knowhow to meet the airforces current threat levels in providing aircraft that can stand its ground against the PAKs and Chinese ,therefore to be realistick the Indian Air Force should procure 5th and Sixth generation fighters from foreign suppliers and let HAL carry on with its developments and who knows maybe they will get lucky and deliver something in the next 10 years as it has taken 40 years to develop a jet engine that cannot be fitted to the Tejas because it is under powered, have they not learnt about reverse engineering 😊
Nice video
Why we still focusing on Tejas MK2?
Becuase PPT won't fly
Jai hind
India's amca flight 2100 ✌
High time Private players like Tata, Mahindra and then Reliance/Adani etc join the defence sector as major full on manufacturers for aircrafts. Plus start the commercial aircraft and engine companies. We have more than enough capability to have our own giants.
Its the same for our Submarine building facilities too....Currently we have only one building facility while we need at least 3..🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
Did not understand how HAL only relied on American engines and we need to have some private players.
The Ministry of defense should take strict action with Hal.
By the time Tejas MK2 enters serial production in 2029, china will already have a squadron of 6th generation fighters and even pakistan will have a squadron or 2 of 5th gen fighters and MRFA tender will still be going on,
that's the sad reality
Pakistan army training bangladeshi army on how to surrender quickly 😂😂😂
India should go for procuring another 36 rafale and 114 euro fighter typhoon from the mrfa project. This will enhance Indian airforce power and give an edge over chinese in technology
❤️🇮🇳👍
A 100%. Give the control of the Aircraft development to Airforce. Give it as a pilot project and keep checks and balances in place by regularly reviewing the progress. I believe that is a sure shot way of achieving self reliance in Aircraft manufacturing and development.
Airforce chief's tenure should be fixed to 3 to 5 years, so that they could work on same objective for a longer period.
Finally a comment that makes sense

I think I can give India an honest piece of advice: don't waste your money and time on anything other than bragging.
I think India should buy Su-57 to show the western countries, if they do not accelerate their production to assist India or help its indigenous programs India will lean towards Russia. This will also be a stop gap measure until we get our own advanced fighters.
china : 6th gen fighter
india : beti padhao , nanni pari , pink land , wow gondi said no fight
2025 and 2026 very important years mk1a , mk2 and 5.5 , 6 th gen fights release or tight increase border security's.
Don't worry, this is just a model. China is only a developing country, so it is impossible to have such high technology. India is a superpower in Asia. India's brilliant fighter can easily beat j20, and India is still 20 years ahead of China.
China is most powerful country from 5000BC

The suggestion to get the Airforce as a key stakeholder for heading projects (Tejas Mk2 & AMCA) should be accepted for sure.
That being said, for Tejas Mk2, a proper timeline for induction, production and delivery should be discussed by HAL with IAF.
For eg.
Oct 2025- Roll Out
Oct 2026- First Flight
Oct 2028- Orders (120 Tejas Mk2)
Oct 2029- IOC Induction
Oct 2031 (T+3)- FOC Induction
IAF shall request HAL to complete Tejas Mk1A production (including 97 additional Tejas Mk1A) by mid 2031- For that HAL will have to ramp up its production to 24 Aircrafts Per Annum atleast.
China started producing J20 and J31 after completing production of J10 and J16 which are 4-4.5 gen. fighters.
You missed important step which is prototype testing which will take 5 - 7 years.
For me
2025 - prototype out
2026 - first flight
2031 - testing complete
2032- order placed
2035 - first jet rolled out
If this happens, then it itself miracle

Yes IAF should take leadership role for development and deployment !
@ That will also work…
If hypersonic missiles can shoot down 6th gen fighters, is there any need to splurge on 6th gen fighters aircrafts?
Listen to Elon Musk. Spend $5 billion extra on drones missiles and radar. We don't have the infrastructure for modern engine(large aircraft) manufacture. No engine no aircraft. Also invite and have him produce drones in India!!!!
The fighter jet programs need Indian space agency kind of management. Put all Jet programs and procurement under direct PM. This removing unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles
Hopefully we get the engines on time, else all the time lines for the aircraft rollout will be on paper
Suddenly Indians have developed 6th gen fighters.
@@euclidmegara2352 haven't you seen comma
just as everyone predicted ... other nations will be operating 6th gen fighter when India gets 5th gen
Yes! Indian Airforce must be placed as the incharge of all the initiative of India's Fighter Jet Programmes moving authorities away from the Bureaucratic control! As only the Airforce understands the urgencies of Fighter Jet Development far better than the Bureaucracy.

Indian government should start highering students from IIT and IISC at higher package so that talent doesn't go outside and build young team out it. It may take 5-6 years but they will start producting results and build the path for future
I saw a video by IIT (?) showing a robo-dog they built just pathetic ! A 12-year-old student in China could take the task...
@jimmylam9846 one video doesn't prove anything, building ecosystems is important. once tasks assigned people learn it especially bright students from IIT they will learn fast. Currently the motivation among indian students is money , gov should provide them and they will do it

@@dadforever5049 the current set up is that they will sell a batch of 40 J35. Some news outlets pointed towards a figure closer to 80.
Focus on drones
!!!!! Hats of to Turkey as they did. Musk asking America to concentrate on drones.... thousands of them.
The Internal Weapons bay on AMCA is too small for 6th generation standards. Ideally it should carry atleast 6 Long Range Air to Air missiles, and capacity should be over 2500 kg internally. And also the Tail wings increase the RCS a lot.
MK1A has 3500KG payload capacity. MK2 has 6500 KG payload. So your calculation of 2500 is not correct
@vaimurthy I'm talking about internal weapons not external

Engine manufacturing partnership.
Listening form past 2 year.
