  • I had the pleasure of interviewing Michele, the pastry chef and owner of Maison Halwa in Montreal. It's a bakery that recently opened that makes classic pastries with a Middle Eastern Twist.
You can find scones with Sumac, Lebanese cheesecake, muffins and ofcourse the sandwich: A homemade Zaatar focaccia filled with Labneh, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, fresh mint, olive oil and it's just out of this world! Absolute must-try sandwich!
Make sure to check out Maison Halwa in Le Plateau - 123 Av. Laurier O, Montréal, QC H2T 2N6
