Mind over matter. It also took me just 2 years to do this stuff and big jumps as well. Granted I was 23 when I started. But its all about determination. Great video mate🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Cheers Dany - great progress to be knocking this stuff over in just two years riding 👍🏼. Penalties and therefore fear grows as you get older though - but fear is a state of mind 🤟
LOVE IT. I subbed . I'm Right in between the age of both you at 58+ and we ride similar terrain as youll see. stay fit, stay young minded and keep sending until you cant. CHEERS from California.
Just bought a Sight C2, picking it up this weekend - huge upgrade from my ancient 2012 Anthem 29er duelly with jut 100 mm front and back. I'm your age +1, so good on you, very inspiring. Sheesh, you 62 year old mate makes it look eeeeasy!
Noel is more attitude than skill, but as I think you rightly observed - he has what it takes to look easy 🤘🏽 You will love the Norco. I've made it my mission to grow into this bike and be worthy of its capability. Just pike I did with the S-Works Enduro previously PS - the S-Works is now up for sale if you have a mate wanting upgrade?
Great vid Carl. Old mate rips in hard, which is very refreshing to see! That rock roll looks loads of fun, I’d be stopping to have a look first tho, not the hit an hope technique😅
I think I need to ride that trail. The ladder looks steep and I really have no experience with that sort of stuff. It would be a good experience for sure.
As descending tricky ground is more about skills & attitude than fitness, age isn’t that great a factor. Recovering from a fall takes longer but failure is no more likely, just work on progression and having good mates who will help.
Agree. Progression and good mates will take you far. But as age marches on, risks increase proportionately to how your recovery slows. Managing this risk effectively is what makes the right attitude 👍🏼 Cheers Dewin. Thank you 🤟
Hi Addie, thankyou. Its an intimidating trail. Pretty sure these are Prizms. The Torch have a 'visible light transmission' difference of just 1% so I don't think it matters much, but in answer to your question - They are Prizm and serving me well 👍🏼
Ha, true dat. We're never braver than when watching trails on You Tube. Overcoming that fear, being able to apply the logic that I have this and then execute what I know to do - is the great challenge of riding 🤟. Cheers Maus
Nice work mal, this edit was awesome and a great watch. Killer riding mate, feels so good when someone else is there to push your limits 🔥
Cheers Blake, thankyou 🤟. Riding with better riders always makes every trail easier. You are who you hang around

Young minded is the key my man. Cheers. Thankyou 🤟
Great to watch! and inspiring 😊
Cheers thank you Jem. You should see Noel tackle Kiera and Kembla 🤘🏽
Nicely done! What I find hilarious is that I recently watched your video of it, which is what inspired me to go out and have a crack!
Also, youself and Noal are very inspirational. There is plenty of rideing left for you both, I think!
Oh thats funny! The circle of YT. You did really well with it🤟
Excellent!
Many thanks!
Impressive mate 🤘🏼
Cheers J, thankyou. Easy to stay enthusiastic riding with Noel 👍🏼
Hey Carl! Awesome you conquered that feature and with ease. Trail looks awesome
Cheers Miguel. Its a challenging trail, but mostly in the head

Even McPhee stops for a look. Occasionally locals take the ladder away
great job!
Thanks Chuck 👍🏼
Smashed the rock roll 💯💪
Cheers Matt. Its all in the head, and the brake levers 🤣

Geez that ladder legit looks vertical! Can imagine how terrifying it looks when you’re at the top of the roll!
The scary thing is you can't see it till you pass the point of no return
Fuck yeah, that's inspiring
👍🏼. Just gotta turn that inspiration into perspiration now 🤟. Thanks Matt
the old geeza is a gun, can outride me anyday, im 40
At 40 I wasn't doing what he can at 60 either. But Im shining in my 50's 🤟
