Magnificent cats! Still experimenting with embossing tools. Haven't acquired the knack with them yet. I have craft ball end tool but the contrast between white and black still missing. Wondering if I really need embossing tool or not. The dart seems like it would be well balanced and comfy. Thanks for idea.
Thank you so much for the comment. I find the dart works really well, much better than the embossing tools and you can shape the tip to what you want. You may need to use more pressure if your not getting the contrast also make sure to use a blunt pencil over the top.
Thanks for the comment. Tried one before but didn't get on with it but thanks for reminding it. Its a great technique and so many tools that can be used.
The paper needs to be tough so the two I use are St Cuthberts Saunders Waterford and Arches Aquerell. Both papers are 100% cotton and 300/356 gram, the Arches is tougher than the St Cuthberts so is a bit harder to work with. Hope this is helpful and thanks for watching.
Glad you're enjoying the videos. We're trying to find a way of doing this, but in the meantime if you don't mind contacting us through the website www.jamieboots.com we will email a copy of the image to you. with many thanks
Hi Liz great to hear from you and yes we are both well, hope you and Debbie are as well. Unfortunately I think classes are going to take some time to come back.
Outstanding work 😯.
Thank you that's great to hear.
I love homemade artist tools! Very good video. I also use old Micron pens for embossing, so don't throw them out when the ink is spent.
Thank you so much. Home made tools are great and glad you liked the video.

Ai use a knitting needle. Works really well and is like a long pen plus you dont need to round it. :) they have different sizes. . :) try it.
