Lightning Strikes- A Fiery Tale of the Calcasieu Refinery Strike

On Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, a lightning strike ignited a fire at the Calcasieu Refining facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The fire started around 4:00 AM and quickly spread to the surrounding area. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and evacuate the area safely.
