The ships in this show are so adorable. Honestly. They are so cute and are actually realistic and all of them find their true soul mates. I LOVE IT!

It still bugs me that Leslie never actually accepts that its Ben's job to do what he does.
For Leslie, a job is not what you're paid to do, its what you believe in and invest your time and energy towards. Since Ben chose to do that job, then Leslie believes at some level, this is something he thinks has value and is investing his time to accomplish. It might be just a job to Ben until Leslie forces him to want something more rather than staying stuck in his past failures.
Coincidentally, in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Adam Scott plays a character with a similar job that loves what he does and relishes in it. I would love to see Leslie fight against that guy for her parks department. It would not have ended so nicely.
