Plus, if we talk how Sanemi would leave him alone, Genya would try to go somewhere, but can end dying by loosing a lot of blood or by accident on something or falling on something. It it’s temporary his demon form he turns into a human again he’s still human
He can only regenerate things he lost while is demon form, hope this helps:D
