I'm so happy to see this! (Among many other of your videos.... you've become my official teacher :) I know you can buy them, but they're not as widely available as, all the different wires, let's say. Which means I can try to make them and not have to make another $$order elsewhere!!
Good morning Chad ! Thanks so much ! Very useful video. I usually put solder underneath the piece so that solder gets sucked up into it. Many roads to Rome I guess. Best wishes,
Hello Maggie! Those are Fiskar's craft shears which are pretty widely available. They cut thinner sheet well, and can even cut up to 18 gauge (1.02 mm), but That will shorten their lifespan:)
I had to figure out how to make my own tubing and I love your video because it just confirms that I’m doing it correctly!! I would have never found you until RUclips recommend you to me. Do you have a Instagram page or a business Facebook page? I’m a professional silversmith teacher and designer. I noticed that you have a large amount of people watching your videos but they are not clicking on what’s important the actions button. By all means I am not trying to tell you how to run your RUclips page but I’ll think you have some excellent videos and if you do have an Instagram page really start promoting your RUclips page on Instagram and from there you can create a business Facebook page and I believe without even having a personal page if you don’t want one of those. You know I signed up with Facebook back in 2008 and to be honest with you I’ll regret it. And finally I got involved with Instagram and I started blowing up with my business Facebook pages. I’m just trying to help you to get people to start following you or liking your videos maybe you need to be more aggressive because that’s where you’re gonna grow and if you’re interested in making money through RUclips that’s what you need to do. I would personally on Instagram and I already do this I kinda give teasers on Instagram and I tell them if they want to watch the full video it will be on RUclips. Which I am still in the process of creating my RUclips channel. I have some goals said before I actually publish my RUclips channel but I want to have at least two weeks of footage done for my RUclips channel so I can stay ahead of myself. I’m not gonna give you my Instagram account on your personal feed because I think it’s disrespectful but we can always communicate through your email if you list a business email through RUclips. Anyway I wanna watch a couple more of your videos but I think you’re gonna do really good if you just get a little bit more aggressive and if you get offered to do in a paid advertisement you need to jump on that... Take Care, Autumn Michelle
Always good to see different ways of doing things. Thanks. Jim
Sure Jim!

Good morning Anamee! I'm glad you liked it:). That's a great idea!
So glad your videos came up in my recommended list. Great tutorial!

You’re welcome Cheekylittlefox!
Great idea, thanks!
Glad you liked it Carol:)
Nice! I do like the looks of a pendant with the tube bail. It was easier than I expected. Thank you for sharing.
Of course. Thank you for watching!
Great job, Chad. Now, how do I make those teeny tubes, used for hinges, etc?
Hehe! You probably could using a tubing draw plate, but it would be kind of a pain:). I just buy premade small tubing:)
where do you get your scissors from and what gauge sheet do they cut

Thanks for watching Autumn! I appreciate the good advice. I do a couple of those things, and I will try some of the others!
