@@generalmotley1 Yeah, mistakes that were created by Stan lol. Everyone else is pretty neutral other then people whoever put too many fuel containers in the reactor and Stan who was constantly screwing over the crew by messing with the engine too much and cutting holes in the submarine for no reason.

I fully expect them to do the exact same thig Markiplier did when he played the game, which is flood a room with containers full of Lithium and immediately lose the ship in a massive explosion.
There's a game kinda like this called we need to go deeper. Not so much aliens but more lovecraft. Pretty sure there's multiple endings too depending on what you do

This game is a great balance of feeling like a well oiled machine when things go great. But a bungle of idiots when shit hits the fan. My friend group has been doing the campaign experience for sometime. Can lead to some good moments. Since you guy's likely won't play this much, I'd suggest looking into the wiki for how some of the things work, or find someone in the community that can explain a few things. I say this because the game has a barebones tutorial and a lot of trial and error mechanics for whether or not you understand what is happening. While the wiki isn't perfect, it can close some of those gaps. Stuff like the various medical afflictions and what cures them, which you were doing fairly well. The fact that if your medical skill isn't high enough you actually cause damage while you do CPR, or if you do CPR when they don't need it it breaks bones and organs. Unless its Talent Tree restricted (which there is but only relevant during campaign play), you can craft everything but if your skill isn't high enough it just takes longer. Which at 2:43:42 you could craft it, it was just blocked because there was Morphine in the output slot. Or when the power kept going out despite there being enough fuel rods was specifically happening because the junction boxes around the ship were breaking from overvoltage and needed repair by a screwdriver. Which came from automatic Reactor control being too slow and doing micro damage over timer or when Stan tried to do it in manual (which feels super satisfying if you can do it well) he was just causing overvoltage in huge amounts as he quickly swung the dials around. Sometimes breaking leading to the fire. And when water wasn't leaving certain areas, it was because the pumps need to be fixed by a wrench or the water vents (which bring water down to the ballast tanks to eventually be pumped out) were being welded shut. Or at the very beginning, that ship infection that was causing burns, it actually controls the doors and pumps to try and survive against you guys. It wants water in the room and to keep you away from it. So the people who died to the door closing, it was the Ballast Flora that did it to lock them in. Which to kill it you need to destroy the pump/cut it from the power supply, drain the room of water and then burn it with a plasma cutter/fire. Grenades work very well for this. Stuff like that can kind of compound into the confusing mess. So IDK if Kaif would read this, but this can be a hella fun game. Its secrets just can be a bit encrypted to a player going in blind. But if you notice the patterns, the line of cause and effect are quite clear and consistent. You just need more information, which in game communication can help with. P.S. There is a Radio chat button (Yellow Bubbles over head and there are ways to chance radio channels too, but little need to.) and a local chat button (Grey Bubbles over head) and that can help with cross chatter or private conversations.
lmao kaif the only person on board with medical knowledge keeping everything afloat the second kaif was unconscious sam and ben imminently did the double asscheek cpr procedure
Question: what was actually the difference between engineer and mechanic? like the kits are different? also the dart gun Kaif got, could it not like be used with the alien eggs and you know, collateral hit more than 1 person with it? though I suppose there was only one target anyways
With the new perk system enginner roles focus on fuel for reactor productions, nuclear ammo for guns and getting new items to remote control the reactor(good for stopping a troll or troll yourself)while mechanics get a boost to materials deconstructions, boostings the specs of a mechanical device, being able to build suits that resists burns and resists stuns and getting some extra pumps to pump water out. Also emergency repair speed when the submarine is filled with water. But basically enginners make sure the power does not go off from a important device like oxygen support while mechanics make sure that if is trying to breach in they cant or patch the mistakes of yhe captain.
the fungal growth that indirectly killed stan and someone else, well I am pretty sure it was because of Stan's painting spree he had it was probably harmless to be honest, it just followed the red paint path there was what killed them was not the fungi growth, but the fear from it, and also getting stuck in the ballasts of a sub 10 000 nautic miles deep in the ocean, that helped too
sadly your not right the fungi growth is known and feared for its power to take over whole subs and cause many many deaths veteran inexperienced alike, it called Thalamus better known as Ballast Flora a parasitic organism that takes root in the ballast Pumps and quickly grows into the rest of the submarine the best way of getting rid of it is fire but it is not easy as any damage will cause it to release acidic gases, drain power, closes door ,and pump in water the next stage takes years but after it matured they will grow into the size of whole subs and will take over guns and hunt passing subs oh right you get it when pumping water in and the sub is in a colony of ballast flora spores
