What if you bend the rubber wrapped around the old bracket to take it out and use insert the new mount you have to then bend that one around so it doesn’t fall out 3:12

I replaced mine once and figured I'd just buy the piece he had and replace the center piece so wrapping the tabs around seems like it would work.

That's exactly what you have to do. Not sure why he thought he had the wrong insert...

Just yesterday , I liberally sprayed mine with 303 Protectant , to resist the rubber from drying out and cracking . As well , when doiing an oil change at 5000 miles and using a mechanics lift . I will liberallly spray all rubber components underneath for the same reason .

My top rubber seems swollen but no noise, no leaking would it need replacing?
