Hot tip for sewing a straight line on those pockets... Place a strip of painter's tape where you want to sew then stitch along side it. Works perfectly every time and you can reuse the tape over and over again. I don't recommend using this method on fleece, though. Beautiful apron!! I'm off to make 3 of them for my sister-in-laws for Christmas! Yay!!
I made two of the "half hour half apron's". yesterday! So cute, fun and easy. Thank you for making it easy to follow the directions. I modified by making the apron's a bit shorter and lengthens the ties to wrap around and tie in the front! Thank you!
You can pretty much eliminate having to do the pocket separately if you sew it with the straps while the main piece is inside out (just make sure you hem one side of the pocket) that’s what I did so all the raw edges are on the side. Overall, Great tutorial, super easy and quick. Wonderful for beginners and a lot of fun for intermediate/advanced
I love this tutorial! A few things I had to figure out myself along the way but I finished my apron and it looks professionally done. I'm making a few more for friends and family. Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial.
Thank you for this tutorial. Your half apron in 30 minutes turned into three hours for me but it's because I'm a beginner. LOL Next time I think it should take me less time.
i think the measurements were the wrong way round. 36" on her video was shorter than the 28" so I did as said but my pattern was wrong then. she has the 36" going lengthwise??????
This would take me a lot longer than half hour. I would have to get the material, find the scissors, the pins, thread and sewing machine. LOL. Love this though. Thanks for a great video.
This is a very easy pattern but the music is too loud and really not necessary. Hearing impaired people appreciate a quiet background to hear speech better.
I'm not a sewing person, this took me about 1 hour to put together, if not longer, but it finally came out great. Thank you

Great video! I made one for my teenager who is working in a kitchen, they love it.
This is fantastic! I'll admit I'm a total beginner but you make it look so easy, I think this'll be my first project!
Awesome! Best of luck your sewing adventure!
How'd it turn out?

This was so helping! Even if I'm a beginner I will try to do this! Thanks for helping me!
Should the pointy part of the strap be up or down when you put the strap inside the apron? Time 2:16. Thank you.
very good idea
This is the video that inspired me to make MY first video creating an apron
How do Iay the straps down inside? Before sewing? Are they supposed to sewn into the fold?

That was wonderful and so quick.
Fabulous!!! Exactly what I needed, thanks!!
can I assume you used a 5/8" seam allowance or did you used a 1/4"?
excellent instructions
great tutorial
Ive got green cotton fabric
i think the measurements were the wrong way round. 36" on her video was shorter than the 28" so I did as said but my pattern was wrong then. she has the 36" going lengthwise??????
She folded the fabric in half to make it 18 x 28, it left it so the straps a place to be set in. I hope this helps when re-watching the video :)
This is the easiest apron tutorial i have watched

Ive got a brand new janome 740dc sewist machine
Thank you!
Wow mam thank you so much. I will make it tomorrow
Thanks
Great for restaurants
I love this apron
Awesome
The music is very distracting
Super easy project! I didnt realize how long the apron was going to be though lol
did she have measurements wrong way round. 36" is very long.
Did you measure it then fold it in half or fold it then measure it??
Just what I was looking for!
👍
Good videos but I certainly wouldn’t recommend a beginner using a striped fabric.
This is a very easy pattern but the music is too loud and really not necessary. Hearing impaired people appreciate a quiet background to hear speech better.
Eassssssssssssssssy
I would really like to see how she made this, BUT, I'm not going to listen to her VOCAL FRY all the say thru this. Sorry, lady.
