I am using Haven Kendrick's Soundpack! Download it here: / haven_kendrick . To install, simply locate your Mechwarrior Online installation folder, open "Game" and you will see lots of .pak files. Drop the sound mod file into that folder with the other .pak files, restart the client, and you are good to go!

An LRM Trebuchet? ...Yeah, that's actually tolerable. He's a Medium mech and thus more maneuverable than the giant Supernova boats, so he can keep up with the team and contribute more effectively. Plus he brought his own TAG--no begging for locks.
Every time I roll out my atlas I die 1st no matter what I am doing. Hang in back? Die to lights. Share your armor? Die in front. It's such a huge target and it's too easy to kill.
I once one-shot a Fresh Atlas by panic firing my ' _Rocket Punch_ ' with my Catapult.
Basically 80 Rockets straight to the cockpit.
You're hanging in the back without knowing where the enemies are and you're pushing straight at the enemies without knowing where the enemies are. You die fast both ways. The best way to play a tip-of-the-spear like an Atlas is to be at the front of the NASCAR and shooting from the sides.
Learn to use those hips son!, that's how you use an atlus, it's the exercise mech, shoot n twist and shoot n twist, you did it right if you walk out of the fight with no arms both shoulders missing and one leg.
Try the Lyran Knight build. XL engine, MASC, and jump jets.

I never seen an atlas without it's big gun.
With the new que system, it seems like tonnage is split more randomly in the lances, hence starting positions, and therefore map dynamics are altered (at least early game)
Yes, you have to factor in first the 4-man groups that generally drop with 3 assaults plus a medium, subject to weight restrictions. That's Alpha Lance. Then everyone else is peppered in below without much care of weight class. It seems Bravo and Charlie Lances are dispersed more on mech speed similarity. My fast meds and heavies generally end up running with lights.
Speaking of the Kraken, I just modified mine with a setup that feels far more fetching for a 100 ton IS mech. STD 325; Endo & 13 DHS; 2x MRM 60, AC-20, 5x SML Laser with 8 tons of ammo (4/4 split between the MRMs & AC-20). 96 Firepower, Standard Engine + Atlas durability. Pretty solid brawler with extremely manageable Heat Efficiency.

Would you be open to trying a build such as the Fafnir 5 with quad light gauss? Long range quick shooting sniper mech. It would be interesting to see I think.

Try it with an MRM 40 instead of the 20 + 30 they're running. Lets you switch from an XL 280 to a light 295 assuming 2 tons of LB & 3 tons of MRM ammo. Alternatively you can go with a 280LFE and bump up to medium lasers.

Don't have the Boar's Head but I was curious about a fast Atlas lol.
In my infrequent play, I've noticed they've changed the team layouts. I've played a light mech in Charlie lance. It appears they balance out the lances now.
It's because they've merged group queue and solo queue. The groups are usually in a lance together no matter what they are running, so everyone else gets shuffled around.
@@KruxisV Does that mean that if I try to play MWO with my friend and we queue together, we won't be waiting ten years? :o Can we actually play together now?

Fairly certain the Cataphract from the first match can be built with LFE (280) based on his speed
I play this with 6x ER Large Laser, 400 engine, Command Console, Ferro, Double HS, Endo. It's a good sniper assault lol

AS7 w/o ballistic ?... That's a joke... As I've told before - "using MRM-based build on assaults is like watching porn"... Skip MPL for ML, put lower rated engine and fill ballistic hardpoint = MUCH more use in battles... IMHO.
Kraken is 1000% better than the Boar's Head.
