Microsoft Word has been my springboard since the late 1990s decade, and much more since I bought my first computer, Canon color laser printer, and Canon flatbed scanner in 2002. From this tutorial, I learned some more techniques that I never taught myself to use. Microsoft Word puts my keyboarding skills to practical use. Mo Jones makes leaning about Microsoft Word 2021 a pleasue.

Comprehensive & very good! I particularly like Mo's style. He quietly, patiently talks through a topic rather than blasting it with razzmatazz. This level has reinforced my level of understanding so that I can now move forward with some specific issues. My requirements are not for elaborate layouts, rather I want a well structured document that is fairly straightforward to put together. I retired at the end of 2021 & now focus on helping my 2 young daughters. I find the quality of the documents that their school gives them very poor, so I want to establish something better. Thanks again

One thing that doesn't seem to be covered is the grouping of text boxes & images. My kids are sometimes provided with a picture & a text box in which to write a description. The pictures are also numbered. Their school does this badly so that often nothing is aligned. I think that adding a caption would be a sensible way of numbering the pictures. Then I've tried to use the Align function to make things look neater. Finally the Group function keeps all 3 boxes together so that they can be moved around as a block. I'm not sure if this is the best way to achieve this. Maybe it could be covered in a future lesson? The problem with Word is that a zillion people use it in a zillion different ways!
