Fabulous to see Greg back with you again. That night market is next level, so many cuisines and so affordable. I love the sunset shots thrown in as well. ❤❤❤
Hi Jon,
Thanks to you and Greg for your kindness in showing us this Market. It’s yet one more reason to visit NYC!
Have a great weekend,
Peter
Hey that's me and my husband at 3:40!!! Pleasure meeting you in person!
Brilliant video Jon. Lots of good food there that I would eat. Good to see the different dishes from not the most common places. Queens is certainly diverse. You and Craig are a winning combo. Work so well together and he really knows his stuff. Hope you continue to work together in the future. Nice work as usual. You the man.
Thank you guys for this video. This is the first time I've heard of the night market and I must say it looks great and affordable! Definitely will be on my list when I visit NYC the next time!
I’ve gone to this the past 2 summers I’ve been in New York. Definitely think it’s a hidden gem. I actually saw you film this video
Thanks Mr Here Be Barr.
Because of you and your hidden gems, my last trip to NYC was perfect!
We had the chance to try so much stuff and not be caught in the tourist trap/ path.
I'm a big fan of your channel.
Thanks you.
Thanks!
Cheers from Quebec City!
I had several bifanas when I visited portugal and I loved them. You can get it with pork or steak and always have it with beer!
moon man is what we local indonesian called “serabi” and “ketan” what is interesting is that back at home we considered this and old and traditional market desert which is not really the go to for youngsters . Good take on that dude moon man
Great tour, thanks guys!
All I think about is Jose Bautista from MLB after hearing Joey Bats
I googled it and he's the founder!
I took the trademark from Jose 😉
I think you would have to go to the Queens Night Market all summer to sample everything! I hope to get there soon. Thanks! BTW, they put out a great book in 2020 called The World Eats Here. It contains dozens of recipes from around the world, plus the vendors' life stories.
Another win Jon! So interesting to see all those different foods & where they're from.
I know it's impossible to try all the vendors in one day but I hope you guys come back and try our Bánh Mì (Vietnamese sandwich). I own "Bánh Mì Thái Bình Dương", which you can see in the background around 12:03, located a few spots away from Moon Man. We make meat, paté, pickled carrots and daikons in house. Come by next time and we'll hook you up
Queens is the most diverse, most fun….simply the best borough in NYC. Your content keeps proving it. Peace
The cassava stew and moringa rice from Vincent Farms Traditional Foods and the traditional bolones from Bolonitos, and they were the best dishes we had at the Queens Night Market. Highly recommended especially since those stands usually have short lines.
If you live in NYC and haven't been to Queens Night Market, you're missing out. It's a fun place to visit and try out all sorts of food you would never get to try other than by traveling to a lot of these countries.
This was brilliant. Can’t wait to visit here for some food content 😎🙌🏾
Jon ! I miss NYC ! Instead of visiting every two years ! I will try to visit every year if possible of course!
When I used to live in the Philly area I would go at any random weekend since the distance wasn’t too far. But surprisingly many people who live not far, don’t visit. They become desensitized to easy access to NYC and become not interested
Hello Queen's Night Market. One of my favorite places. I always go yearly when I can
Love this…Love NYC!!!
Would join Greg again for a foodtour there!
Excellent video! Thank you!
Went there last year and loved it
As you keep pointing out my old home boro Queens never lets you down for great food and great food variety. John I would be so interested in a video on where to find the best knish in New York used to love the rectangular ones sold hot in the streets and where do you go in 2024 to get the best egg cream
all endangered species sadly. Not even sure i could find enough spots to carry that video.
@@HereBeBarr I know you can your videos are amazing and another thing I would love to find the amazing NYC Italian ice my favorite chocolate
i love the joey bats egg tarts! had it at the bryant park christmas village.
Love the video. Thanks 👍
Lucky to live near such diversity
I really feel for most of the country that isn’t able to have delicious Portuguese rolls as a bread selection
Awesome.. lots of times a food truck/street vendor festival equals MORE expensive food... keep it going as more fans will be more revenue for the vendors
Basically the discounted version of Smorgasburg! 😅
Fun video! Cool content!
ALL the night markets are good, eventbrite put me on
all looks great
Why was bro looking at him aggressively @8.43 ?🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for this Jon!! Coming to NYC in October, excited for the night markets!! Do you ever go to any of the others?
October is one of the best months.
@@ramencurry6672 I've been there in October in 2012 I believe, it was lovely. I'm really excited!
They add cinnamon to alot of things in New York 😅
We went to eat at shake shack, the milkshake we took there with cookies and some cinnamon inside of it was superdelicious tho! 😅
Great video
I love eating burgers like this
I’ve been wanting to go to the queens night market for two years in my last two visits to nyc. Hopefully next time!😊
"You can't find Sierra Leonean food anywhere in New York" -- there is a reason for that! I have eaten Sierra Leonean, Cambodian, and Ethiopian in their respective countries of origin. You eat it when you are somewhere in a village and there is nothing else there and you didn't bring enough food in your cooler. Cambodian is the most manageable of the 3 -- you can just order fried rice and avoid "delicacies" like sour soup, bobo, and everything with prahok in it. Sierra Leonean ... there is nowhere to run there ... no safe harbor.
delicious nyc street food wow
Very nice video ✨✨✨
Nice. We at Banh Mi Thai Binh Duong would love to showcase our vietnamese sandwich to you as well 😁
Fantastic video!
Is that every Saturday?
Flushing is considered to be the most culturally diverse place in the world. It is the perfect place for this awesome night market. Lucky us who have easy access to this gem. ❤️
Couldn't agree more!
Culturally diverse? No it's not.
@@HereBeBarr,How is it diverse?
@@peterwelbyso basically you’re just arguing for the sake of it?
@@peterwelby Probably because more people from more countries live there than anywhere else. Or an easier way to say that: culturally diverse.
You have to come to Lisbon and taste the real Pasteis de Nata and also the Pasteis de Belém... The others might look like, taste like, but they are light years away... You've been challenged... 🙂
The Cambodian skewers literally made me shit myself 😅 but it was delicious
I still haven’t been here. I need to go there soon. Jon which one was your favorite?
The Burmese one was def up there!
hi do you need thumbnail designer at cheap rates?
$5-$6 for those are INCREDIBLY affordable!!
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Im good friend Joey god bless
I'll be in NY in December and this food tour might be a necessary part of that trip. What's Greg's RUclips if he has one?
Only open April-October ☝🏻🥲
@@HereBeBarroh ok. The booking link has dates in December. Thank you for letting me know
Sorry yes Greg is open. I meant the night market!
Check his ig : @foodandfootprints
Does the Queens Night Market go on certain nights or every night?
Saturdays but check their site for which
Create don't scrape!
How much can you eat ?
Great channel.
Salutation’s from Belfast Northern Ireland 🇬🇧
I love Guinness beer 🍺
I ate bifana when I trip from Portugal. Is not good.😊
Insanely cheap is a burger at a quid 1 pound like Chris of Blackpool that's cheap
SUPER😅❤
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
living in 5 times bigger bangkok with 8 millon more people than Ny i can say that 5$ is about half what i eat and drink for a whole day. Its insanely cheap to live and work here. =)
Queens is great...if you can avoid the muggers and the stray bullets.
I got mugged in high school in the high school bathroom. In Pennsylvania. All I had was some coins and the bully got frustrated and he literally kicked my rear end.
John, that thumbnail aint it.
I loved the Queens night market....until the owners started being racist
Well then go to the other night markets
@@westie430 you can go back to Nebraska or wherever gentrifiers come from

You need to describe what is in each dish more thoroughly.
All the food in these eateries look good but how healthy can cheap food be on health in the long term? Its cheap for a reason, All cheap food , burgers, pizzas , fries, red meat ,white bread is full of salt, fat, oils etc impact on cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes etc etc? Not a win win in the long term even if you exercise. If you look at the recommended levels of salt, fat etc in these foods they are well above what you need. You see this in lots of food channels where they don't consider these factors.
If you want healthy inexpensive food you should cook at home. Eating out isn’t supposed to be an everyday thing, but a special treat. They did show Ethiopian food which has a lot of vegetables and is pretty healthy.
@@georgiasmith7615 Good point and I agree with you, but you'll be surprised how many people do eat this type of food everyday.
Just stay home then and save us from your preachy soap box harangue.
I hate to say it, but it also risks colon cancer, which is incredibly high in young people in the West

N.Y. will most definetly make you fat . So many so MUCH juicy food places. I swear it'll make you hungry man 😁 @HereBeBarr
I have to give props to you Mr. Barr. Whenever I'm in the city, I'm usually bombarded with delicious aromas of food I've never tried before, but I just can't get myself to try them 🥲
You got this
'food'
@@peterwelby "food" ? What does that mean
If you’re nervous about trying new foods, you can just stick to pizza because it has a uniqueness that you normally won’t find back in other states…….Or check out 7th Street burger. It will be better than the burgers back in your hometown
