Ronnie is absolutely amazing with how versatile he is with his music. Another song that I would recommend is Carry On. There's no video for it but the song is incredible. All the vocals are Ronnie and it's something like 100+ vocal tracks that he blended together for the song. I love watching people get sucked into how great these guys are. Keep it up!
Hi Ms Amy! You heard correct, this whole song is about his ‘cancelling’ and, in a more general sense, the song is about the cancel culture in the USA where people will dig up 10 year old Twitter posts and try to get you fired from your job. And because of this people avoid doing or saying anything, they’re zombified.
Now that you have enjoyed some of their "heavier" stuff, as mentioned, The Drug In Me Is You and the Drug In Me Is Reimagined are a must! Promise you will love it!
A couple of others have mentioned a couple of other Falling In Reverse songs… The Drug In Me is you and the reimagined version are a must as well as I’m Not A Vampire and the reimagined version. I look forward to watching your reactions!
You need to do 'The Drug In Me Is You' and 'The Drig In Me Is Reimagined' in one video reaction, to get the full difference amd how good ronnie actually is. Then 'I Am Not A Vampire' and 'I Am Not A Vampire Revamped' in one cideo too. Keep up the good work 😁
the whole cancel culture thing .. the part he kills the zombie with the mic stand was reference to years ago at a show he tossed a mic stand into the crowd and a girl got injured whole thing was resolved and the girl doesn't have any hard feelings towards Ronnie but to this day he still gets shit for it so "something you said (or done) 10 years ago" lyrics .. also did you notice in Voices in my Head the TikTok scene on the phone the UFO's in the background were reference to this video and then the car that comes in and hits him the license plate said "canceled"
Welcome to the Falling in Reverse Army, You had made a comment about wanting to see him take his shirt off.....watch Losing my Mind and then Losing my LIfe
Do the trilogy - losing my mind, losing my life, drugs. the drug in me is you / the drug in me is you (reimagined) remake im not a vampire / im not a vampire (revamped) remake
This song is about different the United States government, and how we really are zombified how we really are kind of just losing touch to reality, we're not willing to talk to each other in person we're not willing to do all that you know, normal stuff to were addicted to our phones were addicted to technology, you know, so we become zombified, we're addicted to the politics the politics control loss. That's basically what the songs about and I understand agree with Ronnie racket.
If you want a song like a Ballard from FIR with a good music video. The drug in me is reimagined and for drama I'm not a vampire re-vamped. Ronnie radke has a lot of very good music.
Cancel Culture. *sigh* Ronnie's biggest problem I think is that he believes he's a victim. The whole microphone stand hitting a zombie part of the song is from when he was sued after throwing several mic stands into a crowd at a show and injured people. He's been very vocal that he's not sorry, and that that is what happens at a rock show. Cancel Culture is not necessarily an attempt to get you fired, it's an attempt to get you to show that you've learned from past mistakes that we ALL make. Ronnie believes he's done nothing wrong and that hitting a girl in the face with a piece of metal that caused her to need stiches is her own fault for coming to see him, and that since she got paid that everything is hunky dorey. Ronnie hasn't yet figured out that you can, in fact, admit that something you did was wrong and that you've learned from it and are trying to be better.
Comments like this are exactly what he’s calling out. If you read deeper, you would realize he did this as a way to give people free mic stands. Without thinking about what would happen if someone wasn’t paying attention. The girl he hit got PAID. So like if I were her. I wouldn’t be complaining. Cancel culture sucks. Call out culture sucks. It’s bossy people getting into other people’s business for things they’ve done. People don’t need to know when a popular person knows that they’ve learnt. He’s also not saying he’s the victim in this song. He’s calling out cancel and call-out culture as a whole. For everyone who was wrongfully canceled. Yes some people have done terrible things in the social media scene. And the fact that they lost everything is great!
