Great review. I agree with your points. But you did miss the point of "pin and go". That's used for spot cleaning. Basically, drop the pin and the robot will go to that spot and clean a 1.5m area around the pin. Very handy option. I was looking for a robovac that would actually do what I expect it to do.....vacuum the floors so I don't have to. After sorting through lots of options I went with the Roborock Q5+. LIDAR mapping, self-emptying, and the ease of use with the app are all spot on. It truly is a set and forget vacuum that will do a great job.

Does it hit the walls hard? My old roommate had an irobot that would hit hard and took off the paint from the moulding and even chipped the corner😅.

I’m currently in the market but I’m hung up on the dumping station. Is it really worth it? With Black Friday sales it’s $140 more. Is not having to bend down and dump the little bin with that much? I’ve been watching tons of videos but your video is the first that it doesn’t look like you’re getting paid, minus the affiliate link but you’re not like a vacuum channel is what I mean

It's worth it for sure. Beat out two Roomba's for us. Pricey, but an excellent product.

is all that bumping at obstacles noisy? like in a building, if its vacuming for an hour, neighbour downstairs will not hear it running into objects?

Sounds very noisy on video because that area of our house echoes a lot. It's really not all that loud. I think you'd be fine in a building.

    So, the bags are reusable?

I was watching this on my second screen and also was alerted to the part where he said " you just have to take out the bag and clean it once a week or so. " Uhh hmmm. Roborock claims 7 weeks before needing to clean not 1.

Why wouldn’t you want one that mops in combination? I see you have hardly no carpet

From what I understand, the mop and vacuum combo of any brand isn't as good as just the vacuum.

      Agreed,
Plus the models above this (Q7, Q7Max, Q7 Max+) none of those models have the vibrating mop head. So its essentially just dragging a wet rag across your floors.
No matter what cleaning solution you add to the dispenser, I DO NOT call that a sufficient mopping job.
Ill mop, ill let the Roborock vacuum.
