  • In this episode in Microsoft flight Simulator 2020 we go over how to create a basic flight plan using skyvector.com and little navmap. There are lots of other features that little navmap has and this is by no means a complete tutorial on how to use the application rather a gateway for you to get started with both of these great applications. I try to simplify this as much as i can but sometimes i can't help myself lol . But wait there's more if you check out the links below i show you how to get little navmap and also how to import your flight plan into msfs2020 from little navmap! Any questions please leave them below and don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel thanks for watching. Any suggestions please leave them below but please be respectful thank you all! I am really loving the way you make the videos and you are very good at explaining things. One thing I love is you zoom all the way in on what you are talking about. Great job. Question for you. In little Nav Maps can you pull up the airport diagrams?

    • @2020fsers

      Hey thanks for the comment I really appreciate the kind words . Ok so the question you asked is a yes and no so you can zoom all the way into the airport and has a great map and also shows your plane so you know where you are but no in a sense that you can't print out and airport diagram for that I recommend either skyvector for us or chartfox.org for everywhere else. I hope I answered you correctly if not just yell at me lol

    Just wondering what your opinion is regarding Little NavMap vs Navigraph not considering price? Great video as usual

    • @2020fsers
      @2020fsers  2 года назад +1

      well i have never used navigraph so i can't really comment i guess the thing that stopped me is the price and that it is a subscription so i decided not to use it. Little navmaps gives me everything i really need and it also integrates with navigraph as well if you choose not paying for any subscription. So i guess thats my reasoning . Thanks for the comment on the video .. Sorry i couldn't be of more help with the question.

      @@2020fsers Love the way you make presentations. Speech tempo and volume is just right and balances well with sound effects. Easy on the ears too. I've viewed other videos were they rush through the presentation, speak fast almost as if they are selling something by way of auction. Thank you for these videos.

      @@ggjjabc thank you for the positive feedback I am really trying and still new at this so it's been an uphill struggle to be entertaining and informative at the same time . I just got a new mic so I hope it sounds better we will see in the next video. Thanks again for the comment 😀 👍

    Hey John, great tutorial....any idea how to delete a Waypoint Fix from G1000 nXi flight plan, say you want to delete a duplicate or remove a fix?

    • @2020fsers
      @2020fsers  2 года назад +1

      Sure open the fpl menu in the mfd and press in on the center fms knob and move the cursor over the waypoint you don't want hit menu and delete that's it . I will make a video on inputting a flight plan soon . Things have been busy here lol trying to find the time .. hope things are well over there .

    2020 fs'ers: Do you know if MSFS 2020 will work with Windows 11? I plan on purchasing a new computer with Windows 11 in the near future that is capable of handling MSFS requirements, but just not sure if Windows 11 that comes with the computer will work.

      @@2020fsers i have watched this VOR tracking vid and i know how to do a VOR approach before but i wanted to know how to use bearing and VOR DME.

    • @Sanctimonious007
      @Sanctimonious007 2 года назад

      also now since VOR freq are built in the G1000 can you pls do a vid to show how to quicken the flight plan setup?

    • @2020fsers
      @2020fsers  2 года назад +1

      Ok so the vor video I referenced above shows you how to use dme. I'm not understanding what you are asking for as dme only shows a distance to something. Next bearing I showed you already in the g1000 guide how to set bearing 1 and 2 on the pfd for nav and adf and gps. I'm not sure what else you want to know . Bearing is a way to describe where something is in relation to you . And we don't use it anywhere else in the setup of the g1000 maybe during a flight if you see something on the gps like aircraft or airport or something, you may say that the aircraft is off our right bearing 090 . So if you want to know something specific let me know but I covered all of these things already.
