      It looks like he didnt like it ..and he wrkd very hard over the summer to not just win ncaa but beat paris or gable out it as well ...and i think he may hv put himself in a position to do exactly tht ....but i agree with u on not being ashamed..but i dunno if cass feels the same

    Ref doesnt even care to position herself to look for hand on throat after numerous callouts. I get that you dont look for coaches for calls but it wouldnt hurt to try and see for yourself

      Luckily there are three vantage points to get the call from. When the table put up the point for it the ref agreed with the table. Teamwork

    Kid looks amazing. Really took his off season serious. Steveson is still the heavyweight to beat but maybe Cassioppi closes the gap.

      He definitely put the work in and it shows. It's really amazing. Unfortunately that Gap between him and Stevenson is too big. However I can see him beating Parris though.

      @@timlamb1156 I agree, definitely going to be a task. But there's no doubting his skill and coupled with the obvious work he's put in, I think it's possible. Definitely has a better chance to beat Mason than Gable. Come March though I believe itll be Gable vs Mason for the title.

    Hawk fan, Cass fan. The foot movement and overall agility still have to improve to compete with Gable, Mason, and the Iranian HWT, but TC has had an amazing evolution thus far.

    Cassioppi has transformed himself into "The Incredible Hulk." Instead of spending afternoons munching out at Krispy Kreme, he now spends them in the gym, pumping iron.

      @@motoz30 Yeah, Mason has stuck him both times with the last being at 58 seconds. I will agree with the sentiment that he could probably fare better now against Mason, but there was still just as much a gap between he and Mason as there was between Mason and Gable.

      @@MrGuanYu1 Agree. The GAP from #1 to #2 is huge. The GAP from #1 to #3 is gigantic. Not rooting against the kid in any way. Seems to have taken his off season very serious and that is great to see. The gap is just so big....

It's just nuts that no one can touch Gable, then outside of Gable no one can touch Mason, then outside of those two no one can touch Tony. I'd like to see some closer matches between the 3, just so it wasn't a given, but here we are.

      @@MrGuanYu1 I don’t disagree with any of that. Steveson is unbelievable. Possibly a once in a generation wrestler if he says focused and uninjured. Strength was a factor against Mason no doubt. Cassiope looks to have closed that gap. To what extent, we’ll see soon enough.

    Again…. some of us old timers who love wrestling but don’t check on every schedule would really like to know what tournament it is. Semi-final of what? These days some might think we only deserve to watch if we already know…. but then there would be no reasons to even list the names and weights, right? Please include the event and date in every video. Please. Like anyone would have years ago in the paper, TV, even early youtube.

      @@xenonmaster6668 Gable is 21 and Amir is 20. Snyder was 19 when he won. Sadulaev was 19 or 20. U23s mean less in wrestling sadly since so many guys win so young. Still nice to spread the love and let other people have the feeling of being a World Champ in their age category

      Steveson-Parris era because Parris has stuck Tony both times. I don't know if he'd be as good though if he didn't have those guys there as a challenge for him. He is the absolute best of that non-Steveson-Parris tier for NCAAs.

    The Russian guy stands almost at a 45 degree angle with both feet planted so many times…….duck-under….shuck? And I find it hilarious he took 3 minutes to overcome an eye poke but never has a problem once starting the match. Lol 🤷‍♂️

      To be fair it seems like the only moves he had were the thumb to the throat and flailing at shots. He had no business being out there. I expected a much better showing from Russia here.

      @@thetemplar8695 Seemed like after he "recovered" from his "injury" he tried to get extremely physical with Tony and when that didn't work, he gassed, and then I think took himself out of it mentally.
      And tbf to him I didn't realize this was U23, so the Russian has time to learn, but still...would have expected better.
