The hardest part for me to grasp is the fact that Kaylee and Maddie were literally just a few feet above Dylan’s head, and it’s been said that you can hear everything through the walls of that house. How do you mistake 2 people being brutally murdered, esp Kaylee who was stabbed so many times and put up a huge fight, with someone playing with a dog? And when it’s directly over your head?!! Yeah, Xana and Ethan were on the same floor but they would have been harder to hear than the girls upstairs. Also, she wouldn’t have gotten up and looked out of her bedroom repeatedly unless she was hearing something very unusual and concerning.

She better not ruin this case. Sad to say but those girls were just blasted allllll the time. He picked the perfect prey.. especially with it being a party house and ppl coming and going all the time. The one key witness was HAMMERED DRUNK just like the girls that were murdered. I almost wish the girl taking the stand wouldn’t. They have enough there to convict Bryan without her testimony. I feel like once she started changing what she saw and saying she couldn’t be sure to oh now I remember, it’s sowing doubt and making ppl forget that his knife sheath was left behind at the scene! He studied serial killers! He followed the girls on socials and was rejected.. super creepy still going in and eating at one of the girl’s jobs regularly. The data evidence from his phone and vehicle pinging him circling at odd hours of the night and early morning around their house. The security video of him nervously looking around before tossing the evidence bag in the trash lol. He is SOO guilty! Oh and him pooping himself while getting pulled over with his dad on the roadtrip and relief on his face when they say it’s a traffic ticket. He’s guiltyyy

Camera problems. Right. There is a massive coverup going on. That is one reason they were so keen to tear down the house. The simple facts here are that a quadruple homicide happened in a house a two people also in the house failed to call 911 for 8 hours. What else is there to even talk about? Had this main floor room mate so much as visited the toilet she would have stumbled on a dead guy in the hall way. And yet she somehow stays in her room for 8 hours? Spare me.

Talk about the dog, Murphy, found in an open bedroom. The doors of the murder bedrooms were open. No bloody paw prints anywhere. The surviving roommates wake up, discover four dead bodies, in a house that must have reeked of blood, and they then…call their friends over and hang around for a few hours before one of the friends uses a cell phone to call 911 and report “uh, there’s an unconscious person here…” No way! This whole case stinks from the very beginning. The DNA ‘evidence’ is most damning in its absence. BK supposedly killed four people by knife, at least two in violent struggle, yet not a single cell of any of the four’s DNA was found in his car, in his clothes, nor on any of his possessions, and equally damning not a single cell of his DNA was found anywhere except on a sheath that was conveniently found near a body and upon which a proper chain of evidence was not not performed. Riiight.

I just keep thinking that most people who talk about this case get bogged down in too many red herrings. “Some guy texted” or “So-and-so got food” actually might not be important to the UNSUB. Maybe some of it is but more than likely it didn’t interest the killer too much outside of not wanting living witnesses. (I will write that small events helped build a timeline for detectives though.). What probably was important to him (and 99 percent it was a “him”):
    1. Was there a primary target and if so, who and why?
    2. Did the UNSUB surveil the property beforehand?
    3. What were the entry and exit points for the UNSUB? Why did he choose those locations?
    4. What order were the victims killed? And was there an order to him which mattered?
    5. What was the number one motivation for the crime?
    6. Was this offender organized? In my opinion not only serial killers (SKs) can be organized/unorganized but so can other types. (I don’t know why profilers don’t use “disorganized.” I like that word better.)
    7. Why did the UNSUB think he could get away with this crime? Overconfidence? Lots of preparation? Israel Keyes, a guy that at one point didn’t live that far from this crime scene, was maybe the most organized killer ever and probably thought he’d never be caught because of it. He was Organized with a Capital O. But Israel probably wouldn’t have been caught except he broke several of his “immutable rules” which he oddly broke once - with Samantha Koenig. Israel got overconfident.

I guess the definition of “mass murder” (MM) is “killing four or more people in a close proximity in a short period of time.” (There’s a second definition which doesn’t apply here.). The Idaho killings seem to meet that definition. But when I first heard about it a couple years back I raised an eyebrow. Why did this UNSUB make sure he killed four people, or at least left without killing more? It felt suspicious and not just because people died. But I had a theory - I still do - that this UNSUB either had killed before or certainly would again, and therefore he had a “stretch goal” to become a serial killer (SK) as well. There are few MMs who’ve also been SKs. I considered Danny Rolling but I think he “only” killed three people in one event in a house - he wiped out a family - before going to Florida and then morphing into an SK. I can’t think of anyone else offhand without searching. But if my theory is right - we probably will never know - it would give a partial motivation for this crime. Naturally this UNSUB might’ve had a primary target here and I think MMs usually either first kill the target or someone they he think is the biggest current short-term threat. (I use UNSUB as Kohberger is still considered innocent and is only a primary suspect.)

If he didn’t kill them, someone did though, but I’ve seen a lot of things where there are some very strange/disheveled/disgruntled people caught red handed; he doesn’t really fit that profile

I think the perpetrator(s) know exactly how things went. If it was BK, he ain’t talkin’. If he could offer a corroborated alibi, he’d be well on the way to exoneration. But he can’t. He’s going to rely on an expert witness to put him nowhere near the crime scene at the time of the murders. We’ll see how that goes. At this point, I see this happening: The defense says, let’s throw all the evidence against our client out. Presto! BK walks! Some justice, eh? IMO, it ain’t gonna happen that way.

His attorney who smiles all the time is distracting. Usually attorneys are stone faced, not giving away anything. Maybe she’s nervous.

What I don’t get is how u wld mistaken a girl playing with the dog when in reality someone was being murdered. I don’t no I feel like she definitely heard more n is going with the excuse that she thought she was playing with the dog. A girl was brutally killed n u tell the police u thought she was playin with the dog. I wld think the girl was screaming for help so someone screaming for help to her sounds like when u play with a dog. Idk I just don’t believe it.

Everyone interested in crime stories watch all this stuff on RUclips and social media , tough to get an honestly fair trial , I try not to speculate too much ..I do think this might not be a slam dunk for the prosecution ,mistakes get made things get missed we're all human , you focus in on something you honestly believe and you can still be wrong , personal bias can creep in .. even for the judge.. and there is so much we don't know yet , I think the judge has to be overly cautious when he makes his ruling , for me as a layperson this DNA evidence and how they got it is confusing , and I consider myself a pretty smart common sense person , if it confuses me a potential juror might also find this equally confusing , who knows what might happen when/ if this goes to trial ~
