I just finished both Unreal and RTNP for the first time. I don't really think there's a strong "story" to Unreal, it really is more of a loosely guided and truly magical adventure where there isn't even much of a focus on the player character herself. There are a few tracks where I think the original works out a bit better, some of the levels don't seem right to my ear, but overall a very solid, subtle re-interpretation I enjoy listening to. Great work keeping the old sound alive :) This is what I wanted from Conspiravision, not a completely new album... not that Conspiravision is a bad listen on it's own, I even went and got the CD, but it's not a good Deus Ex soundtrack - I would use your remasters as a replacement soundtrack for a replay of Unreal, I would not use Conspiravision for Deus Ex the same way.
At 12:51 sounds like the theme music from the movie First Blood. I can remember hearing this for the first time when playing it when it came out and thinking this.
I really like the soundtrack feels like it would be part of a remake for Unreal. I've been waiting for years for someone to make a remake of the original game on the modern Unreal Engine, wish they'd get along with it. That and remake Return To Na Pali.
Good game, but sadly the quality goes down as you progress through the levels. First 1/3rd of the game is top tier entertainment, the very best you can get out of a game like this made in 1998 Second third is still very good and fun with memorable levels such as the Sunspire. Who didn't jumped from the top and fell for like 30 seconds? Final 1/3rd is a test of endurance. Level design feels rushed, there are many bullshit enemy placements, several bullet spongy boss fights too. I usually give up at about Bluff Eversmoking. There is a mod that is meant to address this - Unreal Evolution. It's from Totalitarian, which is one of the best "preserve the original and improve shit aspects" modmakers out there. The game with this mod is indistinguishable from the original at a first glance. But then youll start noticing small details that make it better. Such as weapon upgrade system that encourages players to explore and uncover secret areas. You can still get some progression very late into the game, unlike the original which caps out the player roughly halfway through.

47:11 oh wow 😍
There are a few tracks where I think the original works out a bit better, some of the levels don't seem right to my ear, but overall a very solid, subtle re-interpretation I enjoy listening to. Great work keeping the old sound alive :)
This is what I wanted from Conspiravision, not a completely new album... not that Conspiravision is a bad listen on it's own, I even went and got the CD, but it's not a good Deus Ex soundtrack - I would use your remasters as a replacement soundtrack for a replay of Unreal, I would not use Conspiravision for Deus Ex the same way.
Mothership Loudspeakerz. That is a great channel name 👌
i played this thousends of hours when i was a child...
i wish i played more because never played i anything better then unreal and unreal tournament
This is the best music for the soul and mind!
Goddamn, it's so good. A great pleasure for my ears!
Loving the Deus Ex vibes
Best game series ever.
At 12:51 sounds like the theme music from the movie First Blood. I can remember hearing this for the first time when playing it when it came out and thinking this.
Fantastic work!
The Isotoxin mix is so clean
I really like the soundtrack feels like it would be part of a remake for Unreal. I've been waiting for years for someone to make a remake of the original game on the modern Unreal Engine, wish they'd get along with it. That and remake Return To Na Pali.
El mejor soundtrack de los videojuegos de todos los tiempos. Todos los años juego la primera parte y Na Pali.
This game will never die despite Epic's efforts
Jaw-dropping work. 😮
Could the new year start more nicely? I don`t think so.
Good game, but sadly the quality goes down as you progress through the levels.
First 1/3rd of the game is top tier entertainment, the very best you can get out of a game like this made in 1998
Second third is still very good and fun with memorable levels such as the Sunspire.
I used to read spawn comics to this back in the day.
55:19 is insanely good.
gracias
I feel like I didn't hear dig2 when the guy gets you in the dark hallway
