My often-frizzy, dry, naturally wavy hair was suffering from major heat styling damage so I ditched my old shampoo and conditioner for-- *Argan Rain organic shampoo*-- line and was so impressed with how it revived my tresses. I can now happily allow my hair to air dry confidently knowing it will look great. I especially appreciate the natural ingredients. A little goes a long way!
I just got really excited at the fact that as soon as the video started playing you had Chocolate playing in the background. Great hair + great taste in music = new subscriber :D
When you use hybridized wax you should put like a dime sized in your hair before blow drying, then it gives a cool shine effect and then continue to style. You can still add more but it makes hair look cooler in my opinion
Thanks for this! I love it. Very helpful. I've always had very short or buzzed hair and I'm growing it out now. But I know nothing about hair care. Great video, keep it up!
I love Hanz De Fuko conditioner for my curly hair. I usually co wash my hair with the conditioner 3 times a week. Every Monday I wash my hair with shampoo, only on Mondays unless I put hair product on the other days.
thanks for this man! really needed this right now bcoz ive noticed that my hair started to dry out after my sister colored it and i tend to wash my hair alot coz i just like knowing that its clean. so ive been trying to look at other shampoos/conditioners to see which ones can i guess repair my hair and stuff. so yeah this video helped me alot! =] THANKS JOE!!! stay cool!
Thanks for the tips bro! I knew using too much shampoo was bad, but didn't know too much conditioner was bad! Thanks again looking forward for some new vids!
So on your non-shampooing days, do you re-apply styling products once you get out of the shower (and blow-dry, etc like in your videos)? I know there'll probably still be some in your hair, but would that be enough?
Hey man awesome video. But I was just wondering if you'd consider the Organx (might be spelled differently) Shampoos and Conditioners high end or helpful to use for our hair?
I have a few questions hope u can answer. What to do with the wax in your hair, how do you wash it off at the end of the day? What if you sweat alot everyday during work, do you still wash it?
well you can still get your hair wet because this doesn't take out any oils.. only when you use shampoo :) And, if you still feel a bit of wax after rinsing your hair remember that this isn't a bad thing! If I sweat a lot for some reason then I would shampoo (like after gyming for example) even if I shampooed the day before as well.
Hey Joe, I've just subscribed to your channel and i've been watching so many videos from you but on this one i have a little doubt.. I'm a bodybuilder and as you can imagine I sweat a lot every single day and the hair get's all nasty.. so my question is, should I apply this technique you are talking about ? Couse I'm pretty sure If I dont wash the hair with shampoo it will get all oily and stuff.. Please reply !
+Landon Eaves When you dont use shampoo and conditioner and you just rinse with water it doesn't matter if you have product in your hair. In some cases it's even better because when you blow dry your hair the product from last day is already in your hair and it works as a volumizer :p (you still have to use more product)
I just recently thought about only rinsing with water. I used to just shower every other day and straighten my hair using no product but it was killing my hair and was really gross lol but anyway won't it leave build up on your scalp and eventually lead to balding? Also I read somewhere that using water based products on greasy hair can be damaging, any thoughts would be much appreciated thank you!
+Just another person uhh.. yes lol I'm kinda all four in a way that's hard to explain.. my hair is thick but lately it sheds like crazy making it feel thin even though everyone says its not. and my hair has a very dry texture but it does get oily very fast .
I want 5 inches beceause i want to do a lot of things with my hair . I'm asian and my hair are stiff and have a lot of volume . What to do to have nice hair ? Please help me . I really want nice hair like you . I can show you if its possible . Thank you ( sorry for my english which is bad , i'm french )
you said that i shouldn't condition too often, but how often i should condition depends on my hair thickness and length, and whether or not i use heat styling tools. so if i have hair that is thin with length like yours, how often should i condition? i also use a hair straightener every day to flip my hair up. thanks for answering!
I do not think it matters much whether one uses a cheap shampoo or not - many of these marketers can say their shampoo is special quality and that way charge 15 dollars for the container. The fact is that it is needed to wash the hair although it may dry it if you were not using any conditioner. Some men do not as it is questionably sensible if you have little hair but you should use it. Shampoo can dry the hair out over time - it is needed for the cleansing in where the conditioner won't do any good although using it a bit of conditioner will prevent the hair or scalp from drying as does not cleanse although styles and remoisturizes It also can smell nice. I like to try different fragrances and sorts - less expensive shampoos may not be as good but a good conditioner will keep it reasonable. I do blow-dry to keep it in place although I do not use gels or hairsprays. Those have strange smells and also can make the hair dry and hard as they are not washed out of the hair when applied
Hi jo..Awesome review! Would like ask that Hanz De Fuko is it really Sulfate free shampoo and healty for hair as i currenly confuse which shampoo to buy? Hanz de fuko or hairbond shampoo.. thanks men
Hey man! THanks buddy... to answer your question, yes HDF shampoo is sulfate free, everything is completely natural. I've never used Hairbond shampoo/conditioner but I can guarantee that HDF shampoo/conditioner is completely healthy :)
My ex and his mom would use the cheapest shampoo possible. After a couple weeks of washing my hair with it (I wash my hair every other day) and it made my scalp so dry it was bleeding and made my hair really dry and messed up (I naturally have very oily hair and mild dandruff) So I bought my own shampoo and they were all "$8 just for the dandruff shampoo?" Because I normally use a regular shampoo to get the grease out of my ends and then a dandruff shampoo and then conditioner. So I went from messed up scalp and nasty hair to my perfect silky hair and not bleeding scalp. It makes a difference.
my god man stop or you will go bald wait at least one day between washes ( google it if you dont believe me) the reason why its dry its cause you wash it every day
Wulfgar Frey You must have replied to the wrong comment, because I said that I wash my hair every other day.My hair was dry because of the crappy shampoo, its fine now.
Professor Velocity No, he sent me home because I wouldn't let his mom grow pot plants in the house. Our neighbor/land lord was a cop, and she wasn't paying the bills, I was.
Hi Joe. Thanks for the video. I have had a long time issue with dry/frizzy hair that on top of that produces dandruff. My doctor even recommended a lotion that removed the dandruff and I changed the shampoo. However, I cannot keep using the lotion forever and the hair still looks frizzy and dry. I also read about organic shampoos. What could be a good suggestion from you for both shampoo and conditioner without those aggressive substances? Thank you
OKAY.... I have really dry type of hair, but, I want to wash it everyday with shampoo (at least) because I don't want to fall asleep, and put my dirty day hair on my pillow. So, do I really have to not put shampoo on my hair if I want smooth silky hair?
i apply like a coconut oil(palmpit amount/size) all over the hair massaging it and then after like 2-3 minutes rinse it off with a handful of soap(Dove soap).helps in keeping it oily but not greasy.does my job.
hi man, i like your hair style and i did my hair by inspiration i got from your's hair style so thank you for that(: but i have too questions: 1) i didnt understand how to wash a product from my hair without using shampoo? 2) how do you use blowdryer without harming your hair? there is a product for it or anything?
well days I don't use shampoo I'm not so worried about getting product out because I know I'll just use product the next day anyway :P and you can use heat protectants so you don't damage your hair with a blow dryer!
i am sorry for the questions but which hanz de fuko wax do you use? and do you think its worth the money and how much time its last for you until its over?
hey joe haha love ur vids. im not really sure how to condition my hair cuz some say to not let it touch the scalp and some say to massage it in. what's your take? maybe as reference u could mention the conditioner u're using :)
I have a dilemma... So I swim everyday and my hair in return is kinda dry and thin. If I don't wash it out, then the chlorine might damage my hair, but if I use shampoo, it could also do damage. What do you suggest I do?
Hi, the product that I'm using right now (osis+ mess up) is very difficult to wash away. I actually have to wash my hair more than once, every single day. Any suggestions or alternatives? Btw the shampoo that I use is American Crew Daily Shampoo.
So could I shower everyday but one of the 2 days still was my hair but with just water? And the other day with s and c? Or will water take out the oils?
I just found your video randomly, and I watched it because you have a box of cheez-its in the back. I need a life, but I loved the video; gonna take the advice :D
I really appreciate your videos - they are hilarious, while still teaching me interesting hair-stuff :) Totally off topic, I know, but where did you buy your ring? It's really cool!
Do I still use conditioner even though I put morrocan oil in my hair after showering? I have a shampoo bottle that also has conditioner in it. Should I switch to just a only shampoo bottle?
Hi, i have a qns. What if i style hair everyday? (I'm using Hanz De Fuko styling product by the way) Doesn't i need to shampoo my every day? I can't possbily leave the product in my hair right.
Hey man great videos btw. The problem is i have dry hair and play sports and what if i am sweaty often when i come back from school. Is it nasty not to shampoo conditioner. Thanks for listening
Hey BluMaan! What would you recommend me to get as a 14 years old? I have thick hair and it grows quite fast to a little higher than my nose. Ive always wanted to set my hair like David Beckham. So what would you recommend me to get - What Shampoo - Conditioner - wax, all these kind of stuff you need for your hair. Ive never really sat my hair up, but i want to start doing it now, that im more into girls and all that comes to puberty
Hello emi. I see this comment about 3 years ago. That mean you already 17 years old. So, for the shampoo and conditioner i recommend you using o'douds or shehvoo activating oil cleanser. Those are sulfate free and paraben free. And for the styling product use high hold product like clay! Because you have thick hair, for the recomendation use blumaan cavalier clay
What do you mean skip 3 days then use shampoo and conditioner? How do i do it sir? Do i do it both in one day? Or shampoo frst then conditioner on the next day? Im 19 and my hair is thinning at the middle area. My parents said its becuase i use shampoo everyday til i reach 19 but idk. I know ur not a doctor. But atleast can u help me? Tnx
Hey Joe, love your videos, they're absolutely amazing, keep up the good work. Anyway, could you please list out the ingredients in hanz de fuko's natural conditioner? Can't find em online. Thanks!
Hey Joe, I'm currently washing my hair with shampoo every 2 days. I'm currently using head and shoulders 2 in 1 and I feel my hair is still brittle and fine. I want to leave my hair long as well. How do I thicken my hair and grow it faster? Will HDF Shampoo and Conditioner be the best solution? Any help would be appreciated :)
How is your hair so full?! My hair is usually very dry and i use only wax to style my hair.. but it keeps it so fat and oily. Any tips on what kind of wax and shampoo to use?
If I have naturally greasy hair to the point where I have to shampoo every day should I just not bother conditioning? I think if I started conditioning in the morning my hair would be greasy again by the end of the day! Thanks :)
So I'm thinking of buying the Hanz de fuko shampoo and conditioner. And since it has organic ingredients and is a high end shampoo and conditioner can I just shampoo everyday? Btw my hair is very dry and brittle
I shampoo and condition everyday. I use a combination of hair wax and the tiniest amount of gel to style my hair. I have a hairstyle similar to Joe's and I have to say I don't have a problem with dry hair or anything like that.
BluMaan I'm currently using Syoss, by Schwartzkopf, shampoo & conditioner. Is it really worth the money to invest in Hanz de Fuko's shampoo & conditioner? Their hairstyling products are great and you really see the difference but will you see/feel the difference in shampoo and conditioner?
Wait! But when am I suppose to use shampoo and conditioner? Do I use both of them at the same time or do I use shampoo 1st then, conditioner? Please reply.
Hey!! Love your RUclips channel !!! I have a question ?!?!? What do you do to stop having a cowlick being a cowlick ? If that makes sense ? Lol. I have a piece of hair that gets out of position throughout the day with all day hair products left in it. What should I do ? My look that I try to get is a disconnected undercut. Please HELP !!!
Sorry for my english, I hope you answer. Well, my hair is a little dry, but I workout every days. I'ts ok if I wash it every other day? Or I should do it always?
What if i need to wax and styling my hair daily? Is it still wash my hair without shampoo and conditioner? Since said that wash hair two or three times a week.
Hey I've been watching your videos for awhile now, I have very thick hard brittle curly and frizzy hair. I want to know if I use all these steps and do everything in your videos how much better will my hair look and feel will it be worth the money and time ? Thank you
On the days that you don't shampoo do you still get your hair wet or am I supposed to not get it wet either? Because if I don't wash my hair it will be pretty messy from sleeping.
Hey BluuMan, if I just rinse my hair does that take out the oils?? say if I did 1 day with shampoo and conditioner and the next just rinse it because of wax... would that still remove the oils?
Hey, great video and very helpful!!!. I have a question hope you can help. What would you recommend for a swimmers hair? Do you think American Crew´s daily moisturizer can get the job done? Thanks in advance, keep up the good work!!! Greetings from México.
Hey, I have super dry hair. Lately I have been using conditioner every day, and shampooing every few days. I'd just like to know if there's anything that I could do to get healthy hair and the shiny look that many guys have.
*I have experience that sulfate tend to be harsh on the scalp and cause hair loss. So that means using an organic shampoo will help hair loss. My favorite one Argan life Anti Hair Loss shampoo " it is sulphate and alcohol free. ı also use argan life argan oil my shedding has completely stopped.*
You need to do the opposite. If you have dry hair you dont even need to wash it everyday, maybe every two or three days is enough. Everytime you wash your hair you strip its oil off and it is bad for your already dry hair. Just wash your hair with water everyday and if your hair gets oily then use shampoo plus conditioner :)
Zhe wei khor But in my case everyday i use clay to style it but i can't clean the hair only with water because the clay remains there. What could I do?
Okay so I have hair that doesnt get greasy to easily so i know its bad to shampoo and condition everyday so if you had product in your hair would you just wash it off with cold water and then after some days shower and from your oils video would you apply oil every time you get out of the shower or just once in a while and then wash it off after a few hours??
Thank you for these RUclips channels because I don't know how to do life

BluMaan thank you so much ive been watching lot of youtube videos youre the only one that makes sense
I wash my hair once a week with Gerovital shampoo and Schwarzkopf conditioner. What do you think? Is that ok?
It would be great if you did a video reviewing and explaining a bunch of different products and what should be used on what hair types.
Thanks for the tips bro! I knew using too much shampoo was bad, but didn't know too much conditioner was bad! Thanks again looking forward for some new vids!

Hey BluMaan, what if you use pomade every day and its greasy as it is at the end of the day. Should you still not wash it every day? Suggestions?

This helped me so much... Thank you, man. And consider me your new fan!

Joe does using conditioner and wax, clay together cause hair loss?
sorry for the bad English cu'z i'm not good at it
Awesome video's bro
If I have naturally greasy hair to the point where I have to shampoo every day should I just not bother conditioning? I think if I started conditioning in the morning my hair would be greasy again by the end of the day! Thanks :)
I want the hair tutorial for your hair in this video lol or at least the directions to how you cut it. Thanks! BluMaan
So I'm thinking of buying the Hanz de fuko shampoo and conditioner. And since it has organic ingredients and is a high end shampoo and conditioner can I just shampoo everyday? Btw my hair is very dry and brittle
Should I shampoo my hair everyday or once every other day like you if I apply hair product on my hair daily? My hair is more to normal/dry side.
I shampoo and condition everyday. I use a combination of hair wax and the tiniest amount of gel to style my hair. I have a hairstyle similar to Joe's and I have to say I don't have a problem with dry hair or anything like that.
1:57 hahahahaha! BLUMAN I LOVE YOU HAHAH
haha nice pointing out the small details xD I appreciate the love brotha!
***** tbh hdf shampoo and conditioner makes my hair dry but maybe its just with my hair
I don't recall if you've mentioned anything about heat protectants in your other videos, but which one do you use or recommend?
I just use cheap ones :P right now I'm using one from tresemme (style and hold)
BluMaan Awesome, thanks man! :)
I guess I would wash my hair everyday if I sweated everyday!
What if I work with a dusty place do I need to shampoo everyday?
yes
No.
Yes to clean ur hair
Crimson Cresent SHUT UP.😬😬👻👻👻
sooo... you shampoo your hair every other day? how do you keep it looking like you rolled down a hill the next day? spray shampoo?
Just shower without using any shampoo :)
Very clear video, thanks man !!
What if i need to wax and styling my hair daily? Is it still wash my hair without shampoo and conditioner? Since said that wash hair two or three times a week.
Which one do you prefer hdf conditioner vs Mister pampadour Conditioner...??
Does not skipping shampoo and conditioner mean you're not wetting your hair at all or just not using them when you shower?
it means just water!
no go ahead and get your hair wet... that won't strip any oils :)
Hey I've been watching your videos for awhile now, I have very thick hard brittle curly and frizzy hair. I want to know if I use all these steps and do everything in your videos how much better will my hair look and feel will it be worth the money and time ?
Thank you
Healthy hair: different types of products
thanks for the tips
On the days that you don't shampoo do you still get your hair wet or am I supposed to not get it wet either? Because if I don't wash my hair it will be pretty messy from sleeping.
You can still wash it. Using water alone will not strip the oils out of your hair
what's the best shampoo for dandruff and if my hair doesn't get oily often but i want it to be softer what conditioner should i use.
Hey BluuMan,
if I just rinse my hair does that take out the oils?? say if I did 1 day with shampoo and conditioner and the next just rinse it because of wax... would that still remove the oils?
his skin is an inspiration
You skip shampoo one day, but you still wash your hair with water or not? Do you cover your hair that day?
Good question I was wondering the same thing

Hey, great video and very helpful!!!. I have a question hope you can help. What would you recommend for a swimmers hair? Do you think American Crew´s daily moisturizer can get the job done?
Thanks in advance, keep up the good work!!!
Greetings from México.
Hey, I have super dry hair. Lately I have been using conditioner every day, and shampooing every few days. I'd just like to know if there's anything that I could do to get healthy hair and the shiny look that many guys have.
anyone???!?
Maybe look at his oil video
What could I do?
cool I want to say what kind of shampoo should I use if my scalp gets to dry
What do you mean of not washing your hair everyday?.. can i just wet my hair with water and done?
But what if you do sports almost everyday of the week? Can I skip days without using shampoo?
Okay so I have hair that doesnt get greasy to easily so i know its bad to shampoo and condition everyday so if you had product in your hair would you just wash it off with cold water and then after some days shower and from your oils video would you apply oil every time you get out of the shower or just once in a while and then wash it off after a few hours??
Awesome video! Very useful info, thanks blue man :)
sure thing :)
Bro I fucking subbed for the random stretch out of nowhere at 1:57 bro it caught me so off guard I was rolling
