lmao, so the basis of this teacher argument is that he uses his students to socially interact with because he lacks it in his personal life.
But I'm very curious, if it is possible, could you do a video or share your experience growing up Native American? Not many videos are out there, nor have I heard of a lot of people talking about it from their experience. I'm just curious about how it is growing up in a Native American Community, in today's time and knowing more about it outside of the context of researching it, but someone who actually lived it if you're willing to do so.
Sorry if that is a bit too much to ask, but I guess I allowed curiosity to take over.

It just depends on what you wanna hear. “Share your experience growing up Native American” is a broad topic. What exactly did you wanna hear about?

@@then8ivepatriot I would like to hear about what are things you liked and believe is healthy while growing up in the community, vs what things you disliked and thought needed to be changed in the community.
For example, me growing up black I believe that things I loved about my community is that when our hearts are not corrupted and divided, we stick together like glue and it is a beautiful experience, but the moment the elder passed away, who held everyone together, then everything falls apart.
The toxicity I hate about my community is how aggressive and negative we can be towards one another and how we put one another down, whether than lift each other up which has been happening for many years, maybe the 70's I think but I could be wrong on dates.

Ok I get it. That’s a great idea! Although I cannot promise a video soon, I will definitely keep it in mind!

It's just absurd that they think they need to have a conversation with their students, especially kindergarten or elementary students. I can't imagine being a kindergarten teacher and talking to them about me. If I'm teaching say kindergarten level subjects, that's what l will do. I agree, you're not obligated to tell them anything.
Also I don't know any of my teachers. I don't even think I wanted to know their life.
