As we gather here to shell-ebrate Hubert, we are reminded that he had a hard shell, but a soft heart. Hubert was a friend to all that knew him. He taught the Goat that life in Lucky Tower is a journey and not a sprint. We thank Hubert for his ultimate sacrifice. ❤️
I have some tips you can pick up a living object when it got some good armor like golden helmet you can Loot him and it not damge the armor . You can trow a object behind the gate in the room with the spikes and it open the gate .when you have a weopen like a sword and poison you can lay down the weopen and trow the poison at it then you weopen is poinsend (you can kill faster) . Best things to sell are golden things the best is I think the golden long two handed sword ( you can’t sell evelius bruh I testet it ).you can pick up a bee hive and when you attack with it it shoots bees when it shoots no more bees you can put in on.pls read this
Fun fact: in midevil times, barbers were also tasked with performing surgeries. I think the barber mentioning it is both a joke and also a reference to that.
As a tactic, you want more followers (therefore blue potion at alchemy lab).. also, you want your followers very well equipped, even if they're better equipped than you (except armor).. because they are out there doing damage on your behalf. you want them doing more damage. if you have 2 followers, each with a gold weapon, you can wander about with a broom and almost never be hurt. think of followers as damage multipliers. if they're going to engage first anyway, you want them to do the most damage before you deal with a monster. otherwise, if there are several monsters, you're going to have to deal with most of them. might as well have your followers do most of the damage, give them the best weapons. you pick up the slack for anyone who gets through.
That's incredible. Thanks so much for providing more background. I'm still holding out hope that we will eventually be able to create Robo Wanst after several successful cybernetic implant surgeries.
Why did you leave hubert behind?! why?! poor hubert. You have to make it up to him, escape with him next time and give him all your gold, you need to make it up to Hubert
when there's a gate with a lever on the other side, you can throw something, like a monster body over the gate (jump and throw) to try to trigger the lever, which opens the gate...
Damn, that darkness ghost spawned right on you. Maybe I just haven't figured out the strategy yet, but I feel like darkness could use some balancing. Especially in the later levels that can be very long, it feels like near guaranteed death. And sometimes it's the only way forward.
@@TheSOB These rooms are really tough for me. I need a follower that can carry a torch. Maybe someone in the town sells a lantern or flashlight. I'd be happy with either. Or! How about one of those mining helmets with the light on it?!
Great runs buddy! I wonder if the interest you earn starts going up for each failed run. I'd imagine you being stuck in the tower for a while with a series of bad runs and that giving the bank more time to earn interest. Only time will tell I guess!
You know.. every time you come across one of those big floor buttons that makes a temporary walkway across the pit and inevitably leaves your companions behind, I kinda wish you would do more than three seconds of backtracking to find more bodies to weight those buttons down.
I like the calm presenting style where nothing seems to excite him to scream at us but now I realize 17:40 is probably the commentary his wife has to deal with in bed😂😂😂
I suggested over on twitter that the Devs put in a monster companion of some kind, like 3-goblins-inna-trenchcoat or something. I thought one that wouldn't fight other monsters, but disabled traps, or saved you from them would be good, but considering how often darkness seems to creep in is, maybe a torch-bearer would be better. For laughs, it might re-light fuses you put out. It could live under the bridge, in the cave, or in that little cave you pass by down the hill to the left of the tower; or even in a weirder place, like down the well in town. Anyhow, got any thoughts on a companion, or other ways you'd like to see the game go Goat? Thanks again for suffering through these replays for us man.
@@coolguyflex Ugh... That must've been a big letdown, buddy. I would've been bummed. I really appreciate you letting all of us know about that outcome.
Again, for 26:16 you can just stand opposite, of the mousetrap, on the ledge and punch the trap off the pole ;) No jumping, shooting, anything just stand there and punch :D
This is so sad, Hubert is still standing on that button to this day.

you can redo potions at the cauldron, dont have to stick with what you made, can even drop other potions there to change to a different potion.

The surgery line is actually a reference to a real medieval European practice. In the Middle Ages barbers, rather than physician, performed surgeries.

for the riddle with the spike ceiling you can use an item to throw at the last lever to trigger the ceiling, then it resets!

when there's a gate with a lever on the other side, you can throw something, like a monster body over the gate (jump and throw) to try to trigger the lever, which opens the gate...
or you can just throw small objects like horns, teeth, or eyeballs THROUGH the gate, and that's a much easier hit

the rooms that go dark you have to move fast. it is basically a timed room.

We've seen the NPC perform such wild acts. But jumping directly into holes... Well... I have to admit--he probably learned that from the Goat. 😂
I’m here for it! Hopefully, your busy Monday went well.
With the ceiling trap, you can throw something over the fence to open the gate versus risking doing it wrong...
