My father had NDE in his 30's. He saw his body from above and nurses through the walls sleeping in the nurse's room. His respiratory machine had broken and because of lack of air in his lungs his heart had stopped (he had influenza complications, Gulian-Barre Syndrom and couldn't breathe by himself). It took some time for the nurses to wake up because of the alarm. He felt he has to decide if he wants to "stay" or "go". Then he thought about my mother that she will not make it on her own with two small children and decided to stay. Nurses and doctors finally restored his heartbeat and he is alive to this very day when he is in his 80's. He said that this NDE was kind of like a dream. He didn't meet anyone during NDE, he was present near his body but under the ceiling and felt great like never before. But the thing with nurses sleeping in other room was real. They were sleeping and very tired and they confirmed it. He kind of felt that, like empathy was so strong and had no negative feelings about it. His feelings were only good ones. Brain is awesome.
Ditto. XMAS 2015 myocardial infarction Cardiac arrest in Robina Hospital ER. Clinically dead 15 minutes. It changed my life too. Fear of death - now zero. Heightened awareness more real than this ordinary reality. During NDE there was no 'me' nor any other centre of reference, no subject-object relationships, no Lover and no Beloved just Infinite Love beyond any description. No thoughts at all. Just Divine Ecstatic Being! Great reluctance to come back upon successful start to resuscitation!!! For 6 days after resuscitation in CCU remnants of Divine Love oozed out of me such that all nurses wanted to look after me.
Hello all blessed ones. I had a NDE just over 1 year ago. This experience changed my life for the better. I saw a Beautiful Green Light. It talked to me and showed me diffrent Signs. This gentleman helped me. I still feel the lights presence. Its been a very intresting year since the NDE. I have become more Compassionate and spiritual. I still se signs of the Light, it is like its giving me lessons in life. Making me understand the true reality of our nature. I have stoped eating meat and im now plant based. I haved changed in SOOOO MANY ways i cant even write it all down. All I know is that I dont know anything. But one thing is for Sure. There is a wonderful spot for everyone of us after this life. We just have to Give back, Be loving, and Care for one another. Im happy to found this page.. I was looking for people like me!
I have had a NDE, astral projection and sleep paralysis (due to medication) and they were all very different. In my NDE I was pulled from my body yet felt weightless. I was went through the tunnel accompanied by a figure of light. I came out in a beautiful meadow where my grandparents were waiting about 50 feet away - they looked concerned. The body of light said, "things will get serious if you cross to them". I felt myself being pulled back into my body before I could think and came round having been revived. I had astral projection as a kid and would float around by bedroom ceiling looking down at my body. I saw where my mother had hid one of my toys and told her the next day.
For anyone interested in this topic, I'd recommend listening to the Swami at the Vedanta Society of New York (on RUclips). Consciousness is who we really are (Atman) and who God (Brahman) is. We limit our consciousness to the ego, but that's not necessarily so. We can live with a more expanded consciousness and gather information from beyond our bodies limits. He also talks about the core problem in consciousness studies - scientists continue to assume it is located in or generated from the body, but there is no evidence of that. It is funny that people are afraid of death because it is a blissful place to be. We underestimate how difficult it is to be alive.
I had a near death experience and I can say yes, consciousness does exist without a body. When I died for a short time I was in a universal conciouness. In it was every person, animal and plant that had ever existed. It was full of great warmth although not a warmth I can describe with a nervous system because I didn't have a separate nervous system in this energy. It felt like pure acceptance and love. I was actually super angry when I returned to my earthly body. I now have no fear of death.
I want to thank all three of you very much for this channel. I just discovered it last night. From it, I think I will find the peace of mind I'm seeking.
❤I discovered your channel last year. My fiancé passed four years ago and I am still struggling to find my footing.😢 Mysteriously, I was chosen to be gifted Lisa’s new book, (THANK YOU!!!K!), 🎉which I have just begun. I am praying to get my body strong enough to do Ayahuasca and invite an NDE of sorts. My hope is that this medicinal process ahead can help me to heal my grief, heaps of trauma, as well as a Puella complex which I want to be done with! 😮Thank you to each one of you for providing the oh, so enlightening backdrop to my personal transformation. 😊 Your channel is a league all its own and the best kept secret on RUclips! May more and more people continue to discover you!!!!❤
After working with my dreams with a Jungian analyst for around 5 years, I experienced the Light...the "Mysterium Tremendum". This strange energy started building in my belly and then traveled up the center of my body and exploded out the top of my head. It was then that I found myself face to face with the Divine Light. The Light was radiating love, ecstasy, consciousness, and bliss. This encounter was an initiation into a process that took me 23 years, and I am still working on it. Experiences like this are the basis for all of the world's spiritual and religious traditions. Humans from time immemorial have been experiencing direct encounters with the Divine. In the Yogic traditions, this phenomenon is known as "kundalini awakening" and it is well documented.
I had an experience of a golden rod about a foot long shoot out of the top of my head and found myself as the rod moving back and forth along this arcked shimmering pulsating silver lining. I never felt such joy and the purest form of love ever in my life. I remember wanting to move past the silver arc but was not allowed. I do not remember how this experience happened in 96’ and I don’t remember returning back into my body. I lived in pure joy for many years after the experience. My mother had a nde when she was really sick, she said she could see her sick body laying there and she went throughout the house checking the children. She was praying that her kids would be ok without here. Come morning she was comepletly well and back in her body. Interesting enough I began to read Carl Jung after my experience and found Tao the water course way close to my heart. I felt reborn after the experience. This is it in a nutshell. Thank you.
I remember Peace Pilgrim, a modern day mystic that had actually died to self, suggesting that being of service to mankind, friend neighbor etc.. was a natural "path" to the experience of God and that the seeking of, for example, mystical experiences, out of body experiences and other psychic experiences is seeking something that takes us from a more direct path to God. Its a way of taking the wrong path which is a distraction and that will take time to learn from in order to get back on the path back to God. Its like we have the opportunity to do God's work for the experience of creating unity or just feeling kindness for others without using it as a "I want God experience" which would be motivated from the Ego. When I was 24 years old, many years ago, I had a "mountain top" mystical experience that I was, well, words won't do it so I won't go on about it, but the thing is, when the experience placed me back at the bottom of the mountain, I realized that Peace Pilgrim was correct, that we have to climb back up on our own with the desire of........ "God, how may I be of service today?" intention. I can tell you that I still have a lot of "God, how can I be of service" work to do! :)
YES thank you Joseph for bringing up going into Love as the point; it’s what a lot of us in the spiritual community refer to as our truest essence ! Wonder conversation & wisdom from all of you, as usual 🙏🏼🖤
This podcast was SO fascinating!!!!! I loved hearing Jung's NDE! Thank you. I had 2 experiences comparable to NDE: the first was during deep meditation using binaural beats (delta), and after that I knew I was truly loved because I got to be with "my people" who I knew and who knew and understood me. I FEEL for Dr.Jung to have had that taken away at end of his NDE. The other was during surgery. I was asked if i wanted to 'go through the hole' in the 'bejeweled, glistening" donut-shaped galaxy before me, and I declined because it seemed cold and scary. Glad I'm still given the miracle to live here with my loved ones. Yay!
My Goodness this is one of my favorite episodes! The reading of Jung's Near Death Visions are so amazing I had to listen several times! Thank you for this amazing episode!
Just let what Joseph sink in at 29:15 "...that the quote unquote fantasies that Jung was reporting would have been analyzed in such a way that they would have been dismissed as some kind of avoidance of reality and that we should be keeping our feet on the ground, our eyes should be in this horizontal plane and that, that's where the adaptive good stuff for the ego lives. And Jung was having extraordinary experiences even in childhood through the mediumistic, spiritualist community around him but also his own rich inner life that was also uncanny and not like what other people were saying. So the whole birth of Jungian psychology comes from this interest and validation of the extraordinary experiences that human beings have had and continue to have" 🔥 56:52: "And Freud said, and this is at the basis of all the analytic traditions is that every form of neurotic suffering is in some way collapse into the fear of death and that the goal is to be able to realign to love or Eros."🔥 57:47 ""..and it's not a decision but it's a lived discovery." Double 🔥1 The dream....No matter what a person does, use a little brush or completely modify a historical site or state of being, our presence will change the shape of what has yet to happen. Nothing is ever completely "done" because the future has yet to happen. I think the dreamer is the artifact and he is trying to unearth and preserve (and free) the wisdom he's earned over the years versus just "painting over" something, if that makes sense. Maybe he feels there are others who never address things and don't take his full input seriously which may lead to frustration when it comes to resolving things that could be very simplistic. The bosses who leave, the bosses/workers who are belittled could be this dreamer's conflict dance, so to speak. Which kind of explains the shadows of the things coming out a dark that's attached to the artifact (and workers). Anyways, this was a great show, thank you so much!
I had a similar type of experience , not due to any physical illness, but when I had to part from my young child. This ofcourse was a kind of mental death to me
Jung really was an extraordinary man. I agree that he must have felt that frustration with not being understood by others and himself. Last bits about how he was so disappointed and angry at his doctor I could relate with them. It's also scary how he predicted that the Dr. H would pass earlier than he would.
Morning dear TJL, can we dive deeper into this subject (psychic abilities, energetic connections, regression to the womb and even before this experiences) the next group meeting with you Joseph?. Thanks.
I worked as a psychic for 3 years with an NDE group in Stonington CT. With experiencers who couldn’t quite totally return to their bodies after the NDE
Thank you very much for this uplifting conversation. :) I would love to hear more about Kundalini from your perspective, or watch an interview with Lawrence Edwards, who is also a Jungian analyst and wrote a book on Kundalini (Kundalini: The Path to Radical Freedom).
I had a NDE and OBE as an 8 year old child that I am still in process of attempting to integrate now at the age of 45. It’s such a big experience to try to put into words. My 8 year old self thought it was so crazy that no one would ever believe me so I pushed it into the unconscious not knowing what to do with the experience. It appears some NDE’rs don’t talk about it because of that. It has certainly gifted me with psychic sight, a connection to the archetypal realm and at times prophetic vision. Even though it was a transcendent experience in the other realm the trauma that led to it has also given me PTSD. Consciousness definitely exists beyond the body and brain
During a regression therapy I had past life experience and between life experience as well. I still think I have not integrated it. That’s the correct word really. I don’t know where to put that information. I wonder if nde changes people’s life for the better because of a spiritual insight or it just leaves them scrambled and confused. What is your take on that?
A segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'... My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE, when I was struck by lightning during September 1970. Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing. The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence. The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists. Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything. NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us.
Did any of you think of 2001 A Space Odyssey, in the scene where the astronaut comes in contact with the large black granite slab /meteor in space? I was wondering if the writers of the screenplay were fans of Jung.
Se3 Rob Agers chan nelson video analysis "mystery of the monolith revealed".. Kubric might not necessarily be familiar with Jung...but the movie was definitely a spiritual synchronous event conveying spiritual truths
Could it be that the site itself has spirits of the site is sharing the torment of the overseers' ideology? I doubt if it is some form of sexual conflict. The Site itself is being attacked and in turn the skins of all of the workers as well. Being part of management's accents his culpability

I do 4 breaths a minute to relax I inhale and exhale for 15 seconds and have got very good at that ... I often do it when I am ready to sleep.
You all shine in this episode! The takeaway for me is that we need to be reverent!
Really fantastic discussion! So appreciate this particular topic on Jung and then the dream analysis.. really enlightening.. thank you ❤

Thanks.
❤
I worked as a psychic for 3 years with an NDE group in Stonington CT. With experiencers who couldn’t quite totally return to their bodies after the NDE
Thank you very much for this uplifting conversation. :) I would love to hear more about Kundalini from your perspective, or watch an interview with Lawrence Edwards, who is also a Jungian analyst and wrote a book on Kundalini (Kundalini: The Path to Radical Freedom).
Thank you for excellent reflections on very interesting topics
I had thought back to the exact interview moment that Lisa mentions at the end when I was watching this.
Really what to hear more about the cultivation of inner sensory
It would be great if you'd interview Peter Kingsley at some point.
Who is the observer of the non-ordinary states? Who is the observer of ordinary states?
That's too deep for most seekers 😊
also Dr. Gregory Shushan has done extensive work on cross cultural NDE's
The thumbnail is amazing. Love the art.
Jung really knocks it out of the park with his experience 😂😂
HOLOTROPIC BREATH WORK facilitates deep body work & allows the unconscious trauma or joy
that's a high percent !!! 20%
Does one have to be affected to be a Jungian therapist, or does it just help?
❤❤❤
Did any of you think of 2001 A Space Odyssey, in the scene where the astronaut comes in contact with the large black granite slab /meteor in space? I was wondering if the writers of the screenplay were fans of Jung.
Se3 Rob Agers chan nelson video analysis "mystery of the monolith revealed"..
Kubric might not necessarily be familiar with Jung...but the movie was definitely a spiritual synchronous event conveying spiritual truths
His other channel is called "collative learning"

Thank you!
Wow dr h story
Could it be that the site itself has spirits of the site is sharing the torment of the overseers' ideology? I doubt if it is some form of sexual conflict. The Site itself is being attacked and in turn the skins of all of the workers as well. Being part of management's accents his culpability

I think we need to stop describing these as "phenomenal" and instead, normal.
