It had many flaws, some bad animation loops I personaly find fun and isn't Sanitarium without it. But it's a timeless unique classic iconic to the kind of games made back then. Big budget in length and effort but unrestrained. And like many old games the backside images were so varied and different it made no sense, you had to play the game to get the context. WHat I mainly like is that it took a very simple and basic story anyone could come up with about a guy in a coma. But they stopped there and went nuts with everything else. From the levels, symbolism and stories there's nothing consistent in itself yet it makes sense as a whole. Wish more games and movies dared to go nuts like this game did. The Innocent Abandoned and The Mansion are wonderful levels and with twisted dark themes.
@@magnusm4 Oh I love old looking animations and Isometric view. It just has a scent I cant describe. Like for example when Max is playing on the spring duck in The Innocent Abandoned level, or when you have to unlock a big Rock at the Rooftop of the Asylum.
Do you all remember how it felt to be around the age of 10? :'( When you hadn't still made some mistakes, when you still had friends, when your mom and dad still did things with you every year... When you were somewhat free even though you had to go to school, you still felt somewhat free often whenever you had a vacation but now... Now at age 20 It doesn't feel good anymore.
@churrumtao Just google - keepvid - paste this youtube link and download- you can choose there- to make it mp3 instead video. I dowloaded whole soundrack of this game long time ago- but i don't know from where- try googling- sanitarium soundtrack torrent or sanitarium soundtrack free download
