I’ve got a bf falcon that sometimes starts fine but then sometimes the immobiliser will kick in and I can’t start it I put a code reader on the car and it says it’s the BCM any know?
Ak-Shoe-A-Tor, is how it's pronounced...😂 (spelt differently, of course). Very well done, and I've just dismantled my BCM. Blown diode, next to where the crap you located, in the beginning. Is that associated with smartshield/starting issue?. Cheers M8 👌
Not sure. And yeah, when putting pen to paper Egnlish is messed up :) I like to pronounce words ending with gue how thay are spelt rather than who they should be spoken. Example. Tongue - Ton-gue
Ba falcons they have 4 plugs on bottom and if you replacing second hand module you should save program with ForScan software from old module and rewrite same program on another second hand module which should have same color and part number like old BCM and car will start withouth security isue. Usually falcons BCM has Blue color,Green,red and Black with different part numbers.
No. It sounds more like your Alternator is over charging. I have seen what your explaining a few times with all types of cars mostly Ford and Holden. The cluster looses all readings and randomly works again. Have it checked asap before your battery no longer wants to take a charge and your ECU burns out. I have never seen a battery leak or explode from being over charge but you never know. Better get it checked soon mate.

Where would I be able to purchase reprogramming equipment you used in your video?
Only used a multimeter and an old light for testing.
On a Ba those plugs are to do with steering wheel audio controls.

@@chanuda4824 I would swap it out. There is nothing else major I can think of right now other than making sure the Battery is still good.

I’ve also seen that if alternator is over charging that they won’t go into 4th gear.
