@Erik Swinson, The more I see your videos, the more obvious the difference between a professional and simple good painter. Hobbyist may paint good miniature but mostly due to good coincidets - lucky color choise, some skills of brush control etc.. Professional can do the same due to conscious approach. No place for luck - only skills and knowledges. This work on Brom's miniature is really awesome and it's clear that you simple make 2d picture into 3d statue! I want to ask if you know how much time had passed before you had realized that you can achieve the exact result you wanted? And also I wanted to know if you feel desire or inspiration to paint something for yourself or this work made you feel fed up with the painting to spend efforts on painting 'for your soul'?
The base is looking really good! When you put the mini on top, it made alot of sense, the cohesion is on point. What an amazing video, thanks for the content!
