@Tyler I myself have an old MF 135 and it also has starting problems but nothing big, mostly it's a small old age problem: 2 simple things you should try: - tap de starter lightly with a hamer sounds like your starter is a bit weak or seased... Just like mine - check the safety pin by removing the gearstick rubber, make sure it's sitting right, you will easly see it! -pullstart is also an option Verry reliable machine! Mine always starts sometimes with a little help.. bit it's no biggie 😀
+ToastedNick still got it but teh gas tank is rusty and i didn't wanna start it and i got sick after i made this video got to late to go and make a vid of fixing it and starting it maybe this summer coming i will
That yellow pick up is a ford. i see not a IH I thought It was but it's not it has a V8 engine with the manifold goes in front of the engine not sure what year though.
Clickbait big time. Plus cranking it with old gas? Stop skipping steps and yank the tank off and do it the right way. You got a piece of farming history there!
Safety? What safety? I'm looking for an old tractor because I don't want any of this BS electronic and stuff, what type of safety is it? Is there any other?
They had a neutral safety switch that usually went bad on the high low selector. It's easily bypassed by cutting the 2 wires off of the switch and hooking them together
Landon Andrews yes i know it doesn't have any new gas in it plus the engine was pretty seized up so i had to do a lot of work before i could get it started wanted to make sure it cranked over frist.

Massey the older one had a high and low range and had to put the shorter stick in neural position to start had safety ditching top op gear box .
massy ferguson never dies
My 65 looks just like that one. It has a belly mower and a multi-power shift.
Massey’s never die
Noah Ottinger
Agreed! I have a 1952 Massey Harris 44 Specia that's been in the family since new. Countless hours on the old girl and still fires right up!
Don't forget to put the truck and other tractor back in the barn.
Did this get started?
These tractors are common in Brazil ... I live in Brazil
1957 Massey Ferguson 65 I have on of those
+joey costa yes they are such good tractors.
Did you ever get it running
no, it needs to have the gas tank cleaned before i start it old gas and rust in it,
Tyler hello tyler wen all the ice gets off the ground could you do a cold start of the grain truck
Clean the points in the distributor cap clean it with sandpaper
Whys he ripping the gear stick out of the tractor he will wreck the gear box and All 😂
What ever happened to this tractor
+ToastedNick still got it but teh gas tank is rusty and i didn't wanna start it and i got sick after i made this video got to late to go and make a vid of fixing it and starting it maybe this summer coming i will
+Tyler that would be cool

It's between a 57 and a 59 model we have both

5 years is nothing. I have seen old tractors that haven't cranked for decades run fine after a little care
that engine is not seized it turned over if it was seized it would not have turned over. a engine is either seized or it is not there is no in-between
That's what ethanol fuel gives you, white powder.
It did not start..
It's a gas tractor but it sounds like a diesel 4020
its a diesel
omg this is clearly a profesional ha ha ha
There was no “old cold start”.

How I can get the old MF tractor? show me the prosidure
Huh i got one of those at my grandpas place ....... But it runs tho and moves
Why not simply using a gas can for a tank-clean ignition distributor -check for plugs and oil and let her run.....?
He's as thick as pudding !!!.
Isn't the name "Tyler" derived from the meaning of the word 'to work'??
Really? YOu are going to try to start a tractor with gas sitting for five years?
跟我的差不多
I didnt see any old start cold start smfh waste of time
You barley let it spin over
