I completely agree with the description. Many people say that the music of PvZ2 does not have the essence of the first game and they complain, but it does not have that essence because PvZ2 has its own essence. Peter has done too good a job for the music of the PvZ games so he deserves more love from the fans.
@@Farvase-IDyeah and this song is actually good in this song I can actually feel the essence of the original PvZ even when I didn’t know laura shigihara made this
Oh of course! The entirety of the game’s music is being uploaded here for the sole reason that’s there’s no other place on YT that actually presents these songs properly and seamlessly enough. So look forward to Modern Day at the very end.

description in case he edits it You know what? Cards on the table. The music by Laura is great and all, but I'll have to be the minority here... I'm kinda' glad she didn't compose for the rest of the game. People are always like "It's by Laura, it's automatically good." but the thing is, there could not have been a better fit for her music than in Egypt. It's perfectly calm and delicately composed and over all very soothing but holy moly, Peter is in a whole other ball park that's way up my alley. Laura definitely has a distinct style in her music, but because of that, it might've had potential get pretty repetitive down the line. Yes, I've heard the unused Pirate Seas music, but it's 100% Laura's music. Besides, the more wacky direction PvZ2 took itself would not be a good fit... Make no mistake, PvZ1 has absolutely spot on, inexplicably perfect music for it's setting, but since 2 is this grand adventure and all, it was a good choice to change composers.
I can mostly agree with the description that Peter’s style fits the rest of the game. Except Lost City. Laura’s style would’ve worked so much better in Lost City
Well, in my opinion this music is really good, because de essence is in the music like in PVZ but in mi opinion, the autor can put more song, but the levels are too good make for the autor, I played PVZ when I was a kid and today I always play too, the other levels are too many easy but PVZ be going to dissapeared because the comunity is too small, we need too revive this game, is etern...
Laura is great and all, but Ancient Egypt is pretty repetitive, it's hard to tell when mid wave A ends mid wave B begins. I think it sounds good but the last 2 waves could've been more original
I think Laura should be co - composer instead of remove her entirely. Yes Peter is so good but he using too much motif from the old game and old world in the new world. I mean not bad but too frequently. Both of them working together will make the game better
possible reference to Rick and Morty? Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science-fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network's nighttime programming block Adult Swim. It is distributed internationally by Warner Bros. Domestic Television. The series follows the misadventures of cynical mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his good-hearted but fretful grandson Morty Smith, who split their time between domestic life and interdimensional adventures that take place across an infinite number of realities, often travelling to other planets and dimensions through portals and on Rick's flying saucer. The general concept of Rick and Morty relies on two conflicting scenarios: domestic family drama, and an alcoholic grandfather dragging his grandson into hijinks.

@@Farvase-ID yeah, that's true, she composed cool and fitting music for this world.
Since PvZ 2 is not the same universe as the first game, it makes sense for new composers
