I have major patience issues, and opponents that play like that last one have cost me multiple games due to tilting over anger and getting distracted and misplaying. Seeing Agrus so many times is odd in itself. The # of times you draft around Judith/Argus/district hero only to see them in like 1 game even if you make it to 7 feels like the norm...

I am curious as to why there was 0 consideration for the clue land, it's an untapped colorless source that will often fix for Tolsimir later in the game and you can even sac it to draw in a pickle, I know it eats dirt faced with some orangutangs but that seems like a negligible downside. I'm not saying that they were the pick that had to be made, just surprising that there wasn't any mention of them.

@@NumotTheNummyYT Genuinely thought that land entered untapped tbh, if it did the creature clause is fine, your deck would meet that condition often enough on t5 and the colorless mana would be fine in most other scenarios, but I mean all that is a mute point since the damn thing just enters tapped

4 sources to splash a single 5 drop seems like overkill to me, I think 3 is perfect, and I'd still rather run 2 than 4 (at least in a deck like this)
Sounds like you rarely cast your splashed bombs
more like you cant do maths, if you put 3 sources in a 40 card deck to splash a 4C card you'd have close to a 75% chance of casting it on curve, which is totally fine (for shitty limited manabases)
obviously Id put more sources in if its free, but those taplands in this set are anything but free, especially in an aggressive boros deck that only splashes a single card.
To really consistently play tolsimir on 5 (95% chance) you'd need at least 6 sources, which is just unreasonable for limited manabases, except if youre some green soup deck.

No, you're not entirely alone. I typically take it pretty high. It's 2MV combat trick that can also go to face early game when needed. It's won me several games from either the chip damage early, or blowing out a bomb after flipping it.

if your deck is aggressive they'll just trade with it early
it's a medium morph; if the flip cost was 1 mana less it would be twice as good
it's lower than Museum Nightwatch
non-hybrid activation can be a downside as well.

There are many other spells that are just better to cast in aggro decks. In slow decks, you don't want it, period. It's filler at best. It's a morph if you're struggling to find creatures. That's all I can see going for it
