Ring of Honor hits Liverpool this Saturday for a huge iPPV, but Throwback Thursday takes a look at a match between Roderick Strong and PAC that took place in the same arena 10 years ago at Fifth Year Festival: Liverpool.

Its crazy how much bigger Neville has gotten and still crazy athletic
And Roderick Strong slimming down so much and became so lean.

Amartya Sau Tbh it doesn't even compare to 2011. Still good but you have to realize a lot of people saying it's not good have been there since day 1

To me, Roddy always looked more impressive when he was Chunkerick Strong like he was here. Dude just looks so small nowadays by comparison.
I'm sure he feels a lot more mobile and healthier with his smaller frame, which is great, but from a fan's perspective I preferred it when he was bigger and threw around people with backbreakers than the current slimmer and quicker Roddy doing 15 moves in quick succession just because he can.

Frank Gallaxx Fat doesn't distribute strictly on your belly, dingus. Especially when you're not really fat enough to get a big gut. It simply added more size to his frame and made him look bigger.
It's what Hirooki Goto did when he moved to heavyweight back in 2006-2007. He managed to add a tiny bit of muscle, but most of it was body fat to add enough size to look bigger, without becoming fat. Dude used to be ripped as a Young Lion (like most Young Lions are), but he traded visible abs for credible size.
You don't have to agree that Strong looked better as a wrestler with more weight on him, but the fact is that a change in size can change the perception of a wrestler
right now he looks 99% exactly like what he looked like here. he doesn't need more or less weight, why are we discussing wrestler's minimal weight difference in 2017? it's how you carry yourself what matters
Frank Gallaxx I mentioned how he looked here because I've actually been watching ROH since 2007 (and before), and I thought it was a better look for him. I wasn't saying he should change, I wasn't saying he can't have a slimmer physique (which he does have, and he has even mentioned in interviews over the years how it was his goal to get down in weight, and how feels better at his current lighter weight). As a longtime fan, I was simply saying what version of Roddy I preferred more.
That was all. You simply can't handle somebody having a different opinion than you.

Yep definitely was a great match since it was PAC's only match with ROH, which ended up having him go to FCW and of course WWE is mostly where he went for the business because of it, anyways.

If you think about it, Neville has become a better all around wrestler since coming to the wwe. Love him as PAC but 2014 and 2017 Neville is just as good
