The reason for the king bob-bomb fight being different btw is cause you're supposed to have to fight him with Yoshi, who can't pick him up like mario could in N64. He makes a point about how only characters with "well trimmed mustaches like his own" or whatever have the upper-body strength to do that, which is a pretty hilarious way of conveying the idea that yoshi fights with his tongue instead of his fists.

They were pretty much the same as the PS1, except for more detailed models, no texture warping (well, there's still some extent of texture distortion but it's different) and no vertex snapping. Which might actually be possible with a bigger ROM size, maybe the expansion pack, and someone like Kaze Emmanuar (assuming the mad lad hasn't done something like that already). Especially now that we have the decompilation.
64 has Superior controls, evidenced by how many concessions in difficulty they had to make in DS because of the artificial difficulty caused by bad controls. Why does every single Mario 64 speed Runner react the same way to Mario 64 ds

In defense of the controls, the original DS came with a thumb strap that worked like a stylus and made movement much better. Later models of DS didn’t have it.

@Linkus7: The problem with speed running this game blind, his you will not know the diffrent glitch to used that make it equivalent to the same skip, also the tall tall moutain mysterious moutain side skip still work as luigi, despite the cage, the power-up is all the way to the top of the mountain you can used the owl in a tree in the buttom of the mountain as a short-cut to the top of the mountain, grab the power flower as luigi fall down the mountain above the cage, and you will have time to go through the fence. First Bowser, and 2nd Bowser you don't have to play them as Mario only Mario is needed to unseal the door, only the last Bowser the infinite stair will only be broken if it is mario+ 80 stars, their is a diffrent glitch that will allowed you to defeat the finial Bowser as a different character, the glitch is before you enter the finial door, you can slide kick on a staires and get fling upward out of bounce, so you just have to gide your character to the entrance to the finial bowser, If you defeat Bowser as a diffrent character that is not mario, your character dies in the credit.

I can see that you are playing the Wii U Virtual Console version. There is a homebrew patch for the Wii U Virtual Console version of Super Mario 64 DS that allows for analog movement.

Part of it is the screen. 240p on a small DS screen looks better than stretching it to fit a TV

There's a dedicated button to center the camera behind you, which is pretty much all you need. And a lot of the times you complained about how they were making it "too easy" were actually attempts to balance out the issues with the controls you were so often complaining about. A dpad can only move a character in 3D space so accurately, so they made allowances for that by making wider platforms, etc. (which you still managed to fall off of right after exclaiming how wide they made it)

It was actually 3:49:59.xx because the moment you touched the star it said "3:49:59.84" and there is some delay at the start so its probably something like 3:49:59.7 or something

Bro I know the n64 version might be better! But I didn’t have the n64, I had the ds, so that’s the version I played! Leave me alone (I don’t think this guy made fun of the ds version but like everyone else who mentions the game does)
