As a Jean main theres one thing I would recommend holding Jean's Elemental skill (E) and pointing it up to the air so after she releases her E then the enemies take fall damage thats the quicker way but for damage use her charged attack and then use her e to hold enemies in the air
Jean can manipulate fall damage the best. If you launch them into the air with your charge and pull them down with your E you will deal 20% ish of their health. If you let go of the E and launch them up it will deal another 20%. It’s really handy for tanky enemies in Abyss.
Yes! Finally someone understands. I always main her in viredescant domains, and whenever the enemy gets launched in the air with her charged attack, the fall damage is around 20000!
How are you able to flip everything? I leveled my C1 Jean to level 90 in hopes of trying that, but I can't flip anything more than small enemies. It seems like anything big enough to be worth flipping is immune, what am I doing wrong? Like for instance i've seen people flip the Blizzard artifact dungeon boss with her, but i've tried a million times and it never works
My favorite part about jean is even when you don't build her for healing she still heals like an absolute goddess since it scales off her Atk so you just build her for damage and it indirectly also makes her healing better
fun fact: jeans burst swirls bennys burst. i use them together just for that in abyss a lot, usually against the abyss lector to get his shield down rly fast. i take kazuha and childe with me for it too

So using Bennet and some other healer especially in a way op mentioned is actually really good. Btw you can use two healers at the same time, just don't build them both for healer build. Like you can build Diona with Maiden Healer build and Jean with Viridescent +a lot of elemental mastery and it can work really well. So the role doesn't matter as much, but the build

A really cool trick with jean is being able to do fall damage Fall Damage takes off a percentage of max HP so that will deal massive damage against the Fatui in Abyss
Jean is way to slept on. My first and favourite waifu in the game, and she covers so many things. Viri shredder, healer, main dps, etc. She's essentially Anemo Bennett minus the insane atk buff, which you can wing using full Noblesse.

And she's amazing to focus damage from Klee or CCins some enemies. Her burst also cleans any cleanable status since applies anemo on every heal tick for a moment. And swirl it around. So, if you use Benny's burst and her own this will create a field of pyro swirls which annihilate abyss lectors.
Yeah I love Jean, I really do, but getting Ayaka only showed me how quickly Jean has dropped off in the current DPS meta. If only she ascended on something else.
Anemo sub-dps Jean is an amazing asset just because as she gets stronger, her heal gets bigger. I recommend putting Festering Desire on her and focusing on her skill, because with VV shred + the insane multiplier she has on it, it's ridiculous how much damage she can do just popping in and out of the field.

Jean the Yeetmaster is super useful for CC and also she heals like a beast. I run her with Aquila Favonia and Viridescent Venerer. Super handy in the new Abyss. I actually really like her new outfit. Her C2 has been the most useful. She is pretty underrated.

for jean a good build for her would be 2 piece glad/shimenawas and 2 piece maidens. and for weapon, since she scales off of attack you want a high base attack like The skyward blade which will also give her nice energy recharge or if you can aquila favonia which can increase her attack by 20%. you want attack on both the sands and goblet with healing bonus on her circlet. Jean was one of my first 5 stars and one of my fav characters
She's my 1st 5* and never leave my team since then. I'm clear any content in Genshin, thanks to her, and she is the one and only 3x crowned unit in my account
Good idea raising Jean, the new enemies will require at least one healer in the party, good idea to have one like Jean that can use viridescent set, and heal at the same time.
adding on to the tips is since her burst deals damage when enemies enter or leave it, with enemies you can suck in with her e you can wave them over the edge of her burst to make the most of it. it's something i haven't personally tried bc i'm primarily a mobile player but i saw it in tsoul's jean guide. also in that guide, her animation cancel is iirc 3 normal attacks into charged edit: challenge idea! if you haven't got it yet, there's now an achievement for beating azhdaha without ever gaining a shield. bonus hardness points the fewer characters you do it with
As a dps/burst dps/healer and not being used as swirl elemental shred support, (not completely sure about this as I have not raised Jean myself) I’m pretty sure you could run a 2 piece viridescent and 2 piece shimenawa/gladiator to give her more attack for damage and healing
i really enjoy 2p glad + 2p viridescent on jean. she’s not the most impressive physical and her elemental attacks just too good to be ignored! but as a hybrid she shines the most i feel like. her heals are great, yet she does great dmg at the same time. i love taking jean in lvl 90 coop domains even though mines only lvl 70 yet, and she keeps everyone alive and mostly at full health! she must be the greatest standard 5*
For Jean, your basic combo is going to be Normal Attack 3 times into a Charged Attack (Or just Charged Spam), and then while the enemy is still at the peak of their launch, immediately look at the ground and hold the Skill. Idk if it's still the case but Jean can basically accelerate the enemies momentum to take more fall damage than just the normal fall would do as if they fallen from much further up.
something fun about jean & klee is that if you hold the bombs next to an enemy (like hydro abyss mage in shield form) it’ll detonate while still holding E!! so it means it’s very easy to get that extra dmg quicker
You can do a charge attack then hold E and flick your crosshair to the ground so they take fall dmg then look up and shoot them in the air so they take fall dmg again. It's cool and fun to do imo.
Jean really carried me through the mid game. I was sad to lose 50 50 on zhongli's rerun but never regret raising her, especially with the current floor 11. Better healer than kokomi in my honest opinion 😆

As a mechanical Enthusiastic guy, there are tricks you can do as Jean, one of them is, after casting your ult, you can go to the edge of the ult area and then use E (hold) to drag the enemy in and out of the ult area to deal the initial ult burst damage to them. Also a cool trick you can do (which you already know because there are tons of comments of it) is to use charge attack to knock the enemy in the air, then quickly use your E (hold) whilste aiming at the ground to slam the enemy into the ground and afterwards releasing E while aiming at the air for the second slam dunk when they fall down. You can get tons of collision damage off of that, which imo (not as a jean main) makes jean absolutely fun to play around :3 (i hope moga reads this ❤️)
yeah i mean, some of the effects it has are great, like extra attack speed, cooldown reduction from constellations and the particles it generates. cryo infusing and neutering your damage isnt that fun tho.
Moga idk if you've ever tried it yet or heard of it, but Raiden is really nice for superconduct since her E's duration is quite long and paired with something like Kaeya or Rosaria you can keep triggering it. Also Raiden's E works nicely with the Tenacity of the Millelith 4pc set to buff shields and atk.
Fun fact: Jean's title in German can be interpreted as both Lion's Tooth Knight and Dandelion Knight (Löwenzahn = dandelion, Löwen zahn = lion's tooth)
One of the most fun characters to play, the is the master of drowning monsters , or shoot them off cliffs. You can combine het uppercut then bust and shoot monsters even further. Also about her E it does not only heal over time but does damageover time to monsters if you are effected by a element. So if you are in water or on fire. It deals elemental damage in timed bursts . Nice if you have large groups. For my Jean it does 12K a tick
You can also buy dandelion seeds in inazuma for a lot of mora. Only 5 per day I think or so. I believe it’s in ritou but I can’t remember it’s that girl shouting about Monstadt wine I think
I made her an animo sub dps. Mainly because i use ningguang for bosses since her solo dps is waaayy higher. But Jean i use with sucrose, kaeya and rosaria to get as much movement bonusses as i can (also cryo resonance and rosaria together give huge crit rate boost :) ). And there is barely anything in the game that can withstand a Jean E with double sucrose E added for the jean burst particle battery
If you were going for physical Jean, you could've used Aquila Favonia (When you get it while pulling) but ya! Your jean build and your videos very poggers!
I started playing Oct '21. She was my first 5 Star and Hu Tao is my second 5 Star. My main squad currently is Jean, Hu Tao, Kaeya, and Razor. I use Jean as my healer which Hu Tao needs and Razor with my only 5 Star weapon (Wolf's Gravestone) does most of the damage dealing. I don't have enough characters invested to have 2 squads for Spiral Abyss beyond the 4th floor yet.
As a Jean main I dont recommend 4pcs veridescent because she doesn't do a lot of swirls, you can go 4pcs Gladiator or 2pcs Glad+2Pcs Verid with a physical cup for dps and for support just go 2pcs glad+2pcs maiden with ER focus for faster burst. She is best at bullying those annoying geovishap, 100% recommended using her to explore cause you can just yeet the enemy into the water
Love the videos dude. I appreciate never ragging on them and just taking them at face value. My jean build is similar to your first one. I was running energy recharge rate since mine is focused on hp and healing.
her q is the reason why freeze comps are even more broken. any element that you get infused with or thats in that q gets cleansed and sent out to the enmies within that q. Meaning any q or e ability that you can put on the ground and swap out with. Rosaria's Q, Bennett's Q, Barbara's e, Mona's e, kokomi's e, Xingqui's Q, Albedo's E ( It helps with the damage and free sheilds. you literally make enemies fuck themselves over with their own element.
I actually put Kujou Sara in my team(C3) one of her constellations give her an electro bomb after using E Skill it does a percentage from the main bomb that actually gives you a boost to a current character when it explodes. For it to activate just charge a shot to full and shoot. You have time to switch a character to give them boost. As far as I know her constellation bomb doesn't give any boost.
just gonna leave this here: you can shave off half of the lv100 mirror maiden's hp on abyss by throwing her in the air with hold e, then keeping her mid air with charged attacks, then when your e is back up, hold it while looking at the floor, then throw her back up. if you do it right, you should be able to chain 3 fall damage instances in about 9 seconds. have fun with jean
as a long time Jean main, i have to say that she is one of the most versatile all-rounded characters in the game. main DPS, anemo/phys support DPS, healer, she is perfect for all of these roles and i’m so glad to see you building her!!
jean is literally a one-man-army. im not a jean main, but she carried me throughout my AR30 - 40 days as she was my first 5 star. i'm glad i have her, she was a total god in the new spiral abyss floor 11.
Tipp: If you get more than 8 of Klees bombs, the older ones will explode instantly, which can e actually used on fat or many enemys but if notused , it's a dmg-loss.

Well actually I use Anemo chars by a lot so dandelions farming aren't a problem for me (I have every Anemo char except Sayu)

As a dps/burst dps/healer and not being used as swirl elemental shred support, (not completely sure about this as I have not raised Jean myself) I’m pretty sure you could run a 2 piece viridescent and 2 piece shimenawa/gladiator to give her more attack for damage and healing

i really enjoy 2p glad + 2p viridescent on jean. she’s not the most impressive physical and her elemental attacks just too good to be ignored! but as a hybrid she shines the most i feel like. her heals are great, yet she does great dmg at the same time. i love taking jean in lvl 90 coop domains even though mines only lvl 70 yet, and she keeps everyone alive and mostly at full health! she must be the greatest standard 5*

For Jean, your basic combo is going to be Normal Attack 3 times into a Charged Attack (Or just Charged Spam), and then while the enemy is still at the peak of their launch, immediately look at the ground and hold the Skill. Idk if it's still the case but Jean can basically accelerate the enemies momentum to take more fall damage than just the normal fall would do as if they fallen from much further up.

something fun about jean & klee is that if you hold the bombs next to an enemy (like hydro abyss mage in shield form) it’ll detonate while still holding E!! so it means it’s very easy to get that extra dmg quicker
You can do a charge attack then hold E and flick your crosshair to the ground so they take fall dmg then look up and shoot them in the air so they take fall dmg again. It's cool and fun to do imo.

Jean really carried me through the mid game. I was sad to lose 50 50 on zhongli's rerun but never regret raising her, especially with the current floor 11. Better healer than kokomi in my honest opinion 😆

As a mechanical Enthusiastic guy, there are tricks you can do as Jean, one of them is, after casting your ult, you can go to the edge of the ult area and then use E (hold) to drag the enemy in and out of the ult area to deal the initial ult burst damage to them. Also a cool trick you can do (which you already know because there are tons of comments of it) is to use charge attack to knock the enemy in the air, then quickly use your E (hold) whilste aiming at the ground to slam the enemy into the ground and afterwards releasing E while aiming at the air for the second slam dunk when they fall down. You can get tons of collision damage off of that, which imo (not as a jean main) makes jean absolutely fun to play around :3 (i hope moga reads this ❤️)

yeah i mean, some of the effects it has are great, like extra attack speed, cooldown reduction from constellations and the particles it generates. cryo infusing and neutering your damage isnt that fun tho.

Moga idk if you've ever tried it yet or heard of it, but Raiden is really nice for superconduct since her E's duration is quite long and paired with something like Kaeya or Rosaria you can keep triggering it. Also Raiden's E works nicely with the Tenacity of the Millelith 4pc set to buff shields and atk.

One of the most fun characters to play, the is the master of drowning monsters , or shoot them off cliffs. You can combine het uppercut then bust and shoot monsters even further. Also about her E it does not only heal over time but does damageover time to monsters if you are effected by a element. So if you are in water or on fire. It deals elemental damage in timed bursts . Nice if you have large groups. For my Jean it does 12K a tick

I made her an animo sub dps. Mainly because i use ningguang for bosses since her solo dps is waaayy higher. But Jean i use with sucrose, kaeya and rosaria to get as much movement bonusses as i can (also cryo resonance and rosaria together give huge crit rate boost :) ). And there is barely anything in the game that can withstand a Jean E with double sucrose E added for the jean burst particle battery

I started playing Oct '21. She was my first 5 Star and Hu Tao is my second 5 Star. My main squad currently is Jean, Hu Tao, Kaeya, and Razor. I use Jean as my healer which Hu Tao needs and Razor with my only 5 Star weapon (Wolf's Gravestone) does most of the damage dealing. I don't have enough characters invested to have 2 squads for Spiral Abyss beyond the 4th floor yet.

As a Jean main I dont recommend 4pcs veridescent because she doesn't do a lot of swirls, you can go 4pcs Gladiator or 2pcs Glad+2Pcs Verid with a physical cup for dps and for support just go 2pcs glad+2pcs maiden with ER focus for faster burst. She is best at bullying those annoying geovishap, 100% recommended using her to explore cause you can just yeet the enemy into the water

her q is the reason why freeze comps are even more broken. any element that you get infused with or thats in that q gets cleansed and sent out to the enmies within that q.
Meaning any q or e ability that you can put on the ground and swap out with.
Rosaria's Q, Bennett's Q, Barbara's e, Mona's e, kokomi's e, Xingqui's Q, Albedo's E ( It helps with the damage and free sheilds.

I actually put Kujou Sara in my team(C3) one of her constellations give her an electro bomb after using E Skill it does a percentage from the main bomb that actually gives you a boost to a current character when it explodes. For it to activate just charge a shot to full and shoot. You have time to switch a character to give them boost. As far as I know her constellation bomb doesn't give any boost.

you can shave off half of the lv100 mirror maiden's hp on abyss by throwing her in the air with hold e, then keeping her mid air with charged attacks, then when your e is back up, hold it while looking at the floor, then throw her back up. if you do it right, you should be able to chain 3 fall damage instances in about 9 seconds. have fun with jean
as a long time Jean main, i have to say that she is one of the most versatile all-rounded characters in the game. main DPS, anemo/phys support DPS, healer, she is perfect for all of these roles and i’m so glad to see you building her!!
also for a good phys build i would go 2pc glad/2pc bloodstained/pale flame over a full pale flame
I like to use her the most in the places were you can just drop the enemies and they won't respawn. Into the deep water for example.
jean is literally a one-man-army. im not a jean main, but she carried me throughout my AR30 - 40 days as she was my first 5 star. i'm glad i have her, she was a total god in the new spiral abyss floor 11.
Tipp: If you get more than 8 of Klees bombs, the older ones will explode instantly, which can e actually used on fat or many enemys but if notused , it's a dmg-loss.
i love that her glade blade can actually move around guoba’s fatass when he starts aiming at the air, very useful in dragonspine
