EYE just learned something up in the North West what they called Sand Dabs we called them baby halibut and they love earth worms... Starfish will bite a hook ( you talking about creepy )
That is unheard-of. A starfish biting a hook🫣🫣🫣. I had a hard time bringing myself to believe that those Sculpin that look just like our dogfish here were good to eat that or poisonous if they poke you. They were good and taste just like flounder at first taste. I want a b-liner trip is what I want. Thanks again for watching and for dropping in and remember to always stay Hooked Up!!!.
@@hookedupfishinghardhitta that's what EYE thought too... and you think the different types of fish in the gulf is surprising... EYE hope you catch a Ling Cod before you leave ( they're ugly but people swear by them ) anyways stay blessed and be careful
That's crazy that the sanddabs love earthworms. That's crazy. It's a lot of fish out there that I had no clue of but they were very good eating. Tasted like or reminds me of Flounder at first taste.
@@lawyahxyahsu5629 I had hoped to catch a Halibit more than anything else. That turned out to be a long shot fishing the rock piles that we were fishing targeting more of what we were catching. I caught a really nice Ling Cod a few years ago and feel it's one of my best eats to date.
I thought they were dog fish and I still think they are on that family. Google sculpin. That's what their called but there are good eating. They taste like Flounder at first taste. All this was and still is new to me so I'm learning just like some of you guys are. I'm not sure if anyone calls them rock fish but they might be because they do live in the rock piles.

Hit ‘em!
I did just that man.
Thanks
Those are rockfish right?
That is what they could be called as they live in the rock but their real name is Sculpin.
