I grew up listening to these guys way back when Scott raynor was playing drums. when travis left the aquabats to play with blink the freaking universe shifted lol. its so funny how the new generation of kids today listen to blink as if they're some sort of new group, while people my age listen to these guy and reminisce on growing up in the 90's and early 2000's . I even remember when they used to play at the corona showcase for free. crazy how time flys.

Honestly, if you don't like Blink anymore because one guy left, don't call yourself a Blink-182 fan. We all love Tom. But it was his decision to leave, and there was nothing that Mark or Travis could do about it. They there forced to decide to continue on or to break up, and they decided to keep going with a new member. And frankly, I think Matt has been an incredible replacement. A band is a collaborative effort, the success of Blink was a result of all 3 members, not just Tom. We still have Mark and Travis, be grateful for that at least.

I really like Matt and Alkaline Trio but he seems so out of place in Blink. Alkaline has always had some real serious songs and Blink was joke punk for a long time so I find it strange that when the opportunity rose to find a new vocalist/guitarist they didn't get someone younger who has the same humor as Mark and Tom. You'd think they wouldn't want to be so serious like the last 2 albums were with Tom but I guess that's just where they ended up with getting older. Mark still has a great sense of humor off the records though. Maybe Matt will relax and the next album will be better.

I'm a big fan of alkaline trio but matt just feels so out of place in blink. His personality just don't fit in blink. Matt doesn't have the same humor as tom. Tom's gay jokes and shit is important to the blink shows. Matt never makes any dick jokes like tom does. That's why matt feels out of place in blink. They should've got someone with the same kind of humor as tom. Blink should've just retired after tom quit cause there's no blink without tom and no one else fits in tom's place but tom. I would've liked blink better if mark left instead of tom and mark got replaced by daniel andriano(the bassist and co-lead singer of alkaline trio). If someone is getting replaced in blink i want someone with a similar voice and someone with a similar personality. Matt's personality just isn't the same as tom's and matt's voice sounds far apart from tom's. I think dan would be a better fit if he replaced mark because dan has a similar voice and dan sorta has a fun personality like mark's that's why i think dan would fit well in blink replacing mark. The Tom Dan and travis show would be better than the mark matt and travis show. I'd much rather mark leave than tom cause mark has lost it and just isn't fun to watch anymore. Matt has also lost energy and charisma big time cause he doesn't have the same charisma in blink that he has with trio. Matt needs to get the hell outta blink cause it's just not for him. He should've said fuck y'all i'm sticking with alkaline trio because he just doesn't work for blink.
