I'm better than most Americans when it comes to knowing anything about Chinese history. The 1949 part where China no longer has to fight big boats with small boats brought tears to my eyes. Nanjing then declared both archipelagoes to be part of Guangdong Province. In 1946 it established garrisons on both Woody (now Yongxing / 永兴) Island in the Paracels and Taiping Island in the Spratlys. " This action by the US had already recognised the above island chains belongs to China and with the help of US in 1945 it is officially recorded, so it is not illegal. In 1947, the Nationalist Party of China drew the 9 Dash Lines on the map of SCS and declare that all islands & reefs within it belongs to China. The US did not protest then after all US did the help China to reclaim most of the major islands there in 1945. After 1949 China Civil War, the Nationalist Party of China lost that war and escaped to Taiwan, Communist Party of China(CCP) then control the whole of Mainland China, and inherited the same claim over SCS. Do you know that Republic of China(ROC) i.e. Taiwan still hold one of major island Taiping Island within the 9 Dash Lines and have soldiers and and even an military airfield there? And the US did not make noise over Taiping?!? LOL Why suddenly after so many years after the US help China reclaimed the major islands within 9 Dash Lines suddenly declared that it was illegal occupation? This the hypocrisy of the US. Today, US see the rising military power of the PRC and therefore do not wish PRC having military dominance over SCS, therefore start to support other claimant over SCS, even though it was the US govt in 1945 that help China to reclaim those major islands within the 9 dash Lines from the Japanese after WW2. In fact, US even fought off the French claim for China because at the time, Vietnam was a colony of France. As for the Philippine, she was then still a colony of the US, therefore the natives has no say against their colonial master, the US.

This is not China’s fault; it’s the 4 ASEAN countries’ fault. Joining military was my childhood dream. After finishing my higher secondary I tried for Airforce ground engineer and I passed written exams, interview and physical test but I failed in medical for simple reason. They said I had to clean my ear wax and come back again after two weeks. Actually I tested my knowledge as the written was mostly on science and Maths as I was preparing for engineering at that time. Now I'm an engineer but that airforce exam reinforce my enthusiasm and knowledge. My bro is interested to join army and he is still preparing for it. He is physically fit but all he need is to pass entrance exam..

They probably want the US to be winning because then they can just side with NATO and invade china through the sino-russian border for some easy territorial gains. Remember that the CCP is already eyeing russian territory (vladivostok/outer manchuria). I'm better than most Americans when it comes to knowing anything about Chinese history. The 1949 part where China no longer has to fight big boats with small boats brought tears to my eyes. I remember when I first started reading about The Opium Wars, I was absolutely horrified about the crimes committed against the Chinese people by the West.

"In 1945, in accordance with the Cairo and Potsdam Declarations and with American help, the armed forces of the Republic of China government at Nanjing accepted the surrender of the Japanese garrisons in Taiwan, including the Paracel and Spratly Islands. Nanjing then declared both archipelagoes to be part of Guangdong Province.
In 1946 it established garrisons on both Woody (now Yongxing / 永兴) Island in the Paracels and Taiping Island in the Spratlys. "
This action by the US had already recognised the above island chains belongs to China and with the help of US in 1945 it is officially recorded, so it is not illegal.
In 1947, the Nationalist Party of China drew the 9 Dash Lines on the map of SCS and declare that all islands & reefs within it belongs to China. The US did not protest then after all US did the help China to reclaim most of the major islands there in 1945.
After 1949 China Civil War, the Nationalist Party of China lost that war and escaped to Taiwan, Communist Party of China(CCP) then control the whole of Mainland China, and inherited the same claim over SCS.
Do you know that Republic of China(ROC) i.e. Taiwan still hold one of major island Taiping Island within the 9 Dash Lines and have soldiers and and even an military airfield there?
And the US did not make noise over Taiping?!?
LOL Why suddenly after so many years after the US help China reclaimed the major islands within 9 Dash Lines suddenly declared that it was illegal occupation?
This the hypocrisy of the US. Today, US see the rising military power of the PRC and therefore do not wish PRC having military dominance over SCS, therefore start to support other claimant over SCS, even though it was the US govt in 1945 that help China to reclaim those major islands within the 9 dash Lines from the Japanese after WW2.
In fact, US even fought off the French claim for China because at the time, Vietnam was a colony of France.
As for the Philippine, she was then still a colony of the US, therefore the natives has no say against their colonial master, the US.

It was only after the introduction of the EEZs then these 4 countries extended their claims unilaterally and trampled on China’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and entirety. This is not China’s fault; it’s the 4 ASEAN countries’ fault. And the fact that the US and EU recognize the 4 ASEAN countries’ claims over China’s, only illustrates that they recognize the illegal claims over the true legitimate legal claims. The Spratly and Paracel have always been part of China before the introduction of EEZs, and they rightfully continue being part of China today. James Shoal is the southernmost territory of China. If defending territorial integrity, sovereignty and entirety is what you call Chinese “aggression” and “transgression”, then I seriously do not know what to say.

Joining military was my childhood dream. After finishing my higher secondary I tried for Airforce ground engineer and I passed written exams, interview and physical test but I failed in medical for simple reason. They said I had to clean my ear wax and come back again after two weeks. Actually I tested my knowledge as the written was mostly on science and Maths as I was preparing for engineering at that time. Now I'm an engineer but that airforce exam reinforce my enthusiasm and knowledge. My bro is interested to join army and he is still preparing for it. He is physically fit but all he need is to pass entrance exam..

Remember that the CCP is already eyeing russian territory (vladivostok/outer manchuria). If the CCP doesn't curb their imperialistic ambitions, it's very likely all of china's current "allies" will not want to help them win, because the truth is that the PRC hasn't done much to help them. Meanwhile, the US did help out their allies in the past even if their policies in other countries kinda fell flat (mainly in the middle east, probably because the US is just bad at handling muslim countries). But look at west europe back in the cold war days, they were developing much faster than the communist bloc countries, who only started developing after those communist regimes ended. Also, south korea, taiwan, and japan have all developed very well with US help. But meanwhile, in pakistan there is hardly any stability and the prime minister is an incompetent swine. And burma has one of the biggest illegal drug trade markets in the entire world. Even vietnam who is a communist country didn't want anything to do with china because of their imperialism and are now much more friendly with the USA. The truth is, most of the US allies are much more well off than PRC's "allies".
