I think you’re right Steve looks like containers for bleed testing concrete .that globe is way to nice to have a smasher , I mean striker near it . Absolutely gorgeous
Hi Steve. That lantern was one of the last tall vent 200a's. I know that by June 63, they had the short ventilators. The sticker is correct. They went to the white border in December 1964, I think. You got a bonus with the green sunrise globe. Those are worth a lot more than the issued red letter globes it came with. Take care.
Hey Steve, You should swap globes with that 200a with the Christmas lantern then both will have the correct period glass. A 1963 200a had the red marked globe and the 1951 200a had that green marked globe. As those canisters are concerned I agree they maybe containers for welding rods. Great sale videos.
@@doinsngoins You are quite welcome. Maybe we can see the Christmas lantern in a short video showing off its new and proper globe. Just have to find that correct ball nut for the top.
Have you ever seen amber globes for the coleman lanterns? I had one on a 60s coleman and it worked unbelievably well. Don't even know what ever happened to it. I can't find the amber globes anywhere
Nice lantern. Rod holders does make sense. Nice light up!
Good Evening ! Good Deal. Neat Shirt. TAKE CARE..
Thank you Friend, have a good week 😊
@@doinsngoins You Bet ! You as well. TAKE CARE..

Are these two cannonball cases? WWII!🤔Of course, a peaceful use is as a lantern case.😊
Wouldn't THAT BE COOL !!!!
Hi Steve. Well I will be of little help to you on this one, although they do remind me of welding rod containers. 😕👍🏻
So far welding rod container are #1 , thank Ian 😊

@doinsngoins i need 4 of them. I'll look around
I'm leaning to what P-O-Chuck & Krubbs are saying. If they came from that first estate sale and bunched with the other WWll items, then bets are off.
These were from Summer ☀️ , but looks like Weld Rod Holds it is ! THANKS GREGORY
I think Krubbs might be on to something .. We had similar tubes in the mill for welding rods although those are pretty large comparatively.
Thanks Chuck , could also explain the streaks inside
Might be canisters from floor safes.
Yes ! , that was my second thought, these are good thick sidewall, not this flimsy tin , these were made to last !
Is it a Lantern Handy Pail case. 🤷♂️
I thinks maybe too heavy .... especially the Red one it's a whopper 😀
Looks like maybe a welding rod holder thats my guess
Interesting? Never thought of that thanks Krubbs
I can’t believe you couldn’t remember what was in there. Come on a 200A. How do you forget that. 😂😂😂😂 😀👍✝️
HAAA HAAA , NOPE ! 🙅♀️
Generally the container for testing concrete slump is a cone. But heck don’t listen to me, I’m a machinist. 😂
Good info thanks , that drops that 💡
Looks like a cream seperator tin.
Let me explore this , I like options Jerry !
Very interesting Jerry

They don't have the vertical windows but WOW , check out the second link
Does that 200a by chance fit into the canister? You could make a pretty cool case.
That's my birthday lantern March of 1963🎉
Food canisters from ww2?
Now that's interesting Joe 🤔 so far , Food storage , Concrete Bleed test tubes , and Welding Rod container
