Was gonna ask if you filmed that today and then you confirmed it 😅 lovely looking car, that's a great colour. Infotainment system looks like a bit of an afterthought but other than that it looks better than anything else in that segment I can think of
Nobb 👍 , its nice-looking vehicle, the infotainment display. I'm not a fan of the large screen on the console. Weather wise crazy for July,. This morning driving on the M50 towards the not sunny Southeast torrential rain splash back from cars and lorries. Reduced visibility and idiots with no lights on.
We are well used to that type of weather in July. The Romans named Ireland Hibernia 2000 years ago as it means the land of eternal winter. It bemuses me that the Greens want us to walk or cycle. It rains in Galway on 234 days in the average year. Id say Ryanair's website is hopping.
Actually the Captur starts at about 20k Euros here in Germany. Yes it goes up to about 30 if you want too, but why whould you? A 25k version of this has a lot to offer already. I just bought it as a EU import with Petrol+Gas engine in the Techno variant with more or less all the boxes checked in the configurator for around 25k. That's pretty fine I would say. (why I go to a EU import? Because in Germany, they do not sell the Techno variante with an LPG/Gas version attached to it, which was one of the reasons I found the car interesting from the start)
A stupid price for that car you're reviewing, if someone was going to spend nearly €40k on a car there are much better cars out there for this money.. good review though and extra brownie points for battling the rainy conditions.
@@Eire369 What are you talking about? He is testing a 29 000 Euro car (it is even in his headline of the video), not a 40 000 Euro car. Anyway it is a little over the price you will have to pay for it. In the end it is more like 26k Euro for most people I would say, depending on what you want in the car even lower. I think that is pretty fine for that car.
@@ContinuumGamingI think you need to listen again, prices start from €29k, €10k more for the full top of the range Captur, that's what I was referring to.
@@Eire369 Are cares in Ireland much more expensive than in Germany / France / Spain / Poland? Because I am pretty sure it is very hard to go to 40k here with that car. I just bought one with LPG and Techno variant and am at about 25k Euros with pretty much everything (including glass sliding roof, any package available in that variant, etc.) You can of cause pay more again for the engine so if you go up you can hit 30k, but 40? What is in that car that would increase the price to that?
I've lost count how many models Renault now has ..or about to be launched, throw in Dacia and I'm lost....but then I can go back to my 16TS. I can see now why Spain makes sense to launch vehicles...less water on your noggin, except don't go to Barcelona...the locals squirt water pistols at tourists!.😆😂

Filmed in Spain was it.....

Saw plenty of them with the lights off too!

I think I’d. just pay a bit more for Symbioz or Arkana because they look better. But all are good cars. Yep, everyone is waiting for the Renault 5.
That boot lip looks crazy high - a big lepp for a dog !
Cheers mate
If only you were reviewing a Skoda ☂️
🤣 true story!
I've given up waiting for the R5, soooo tired of all the hype without an actual working car!
Should be in showrooms by late autumn

Imagine if the air vents were controlled by the infotainment screen. You wouldn't have to lean all the way over to adjust them.😅
What a great idea!
Girthy steering wheel. Not a fan of the computer from Interstellar as the centre console though
