Those powder multichromes look gorgeous! 🥰 I'll have to remember they have those. Thanks for those swatches. SG's product pics often don't show their IRL undertones well. I haven't used the neutral SG singles I bought during BF lately, but I am going to use them next week. I also got Lavender Hill and Totally Worth It searching for a cool lavender shimmer. Lavender Hill was the one I ended up liking the most. I love that it's so opaque, even tho it's not a dark shade. 😁💜 Otherwise, gonna abstain from their sale. Most SG neutral singles and esp their palettes seem to flatter neutral, cool, cool olive, or pink undertones, so SG isn't my first go-to brand unless I'm looking for smth specific or see smth that sounds unique.
For anyone wondering about their face palettes, I have the one in medium (I wear Nars Valencia). The shimmer blush and shimmer highlight are very pigmented and high quality. The bronzer is more hard-pressed and buildable, so it applies sheer layers of satin finish color. One layer is clearly visible in daylight, but I can barely see it in indoor lighting. That's using a dense brush. Colorwise It's a true golden bronzer color, not a brontour. The matte blush looks great layered under the shimmer blush; they seem meant to be used together. I never wear the matte blush alone, it's very pigmented and quite dark. Wear time was at least average; I didn't notice it fading too quickly. Overall the colors are INTENSE except for the bronzer on my skintone. Less is more.
The great thing about their circle pan palettes is that they are rearrangable. Their eyeshadows are tightly in their palettes, but they do come out and can be rearranged. I have so many singles, but I absolutely love duping palettes, so I'll be picking up some extra colors that I use a lot of, and I want to try their multi-chromes. Thanks for for your all you do for us, Cara! ❤
That Tiny Marvels palette is truly a wonderful palette! I used mine nonstop right after Mel passed and then I stopped using it because it became more sentimental than anything else. Weird how something like makeup can have that effect
I like how the Love's Journey palette looks like the Viseart Neutral palette & the Sonia Kashuk matte palette. Just a perfect mix of browns, warm tones, and greys and then you get a nice selection of shimmers to pair with them

I remember when it came out I was looking for a palette with those types of colors and it was like she read my mind. And now it just holds a very special place.

I am getting brushes for sure, and some singles. I may finally pick up Tiara, that is one I have never gotten. I need to work on my list this weekend. The new palettes look really nice but I have to look at what I have to see if I really want or need them. I may have a lot of the shades already. Thanks for doing this video, it seems that people still don't talk about SG, they are really overlooked and overshadowed by other brands that I don't think are all that interesting. I'm getting raspberry and blessed palettes and a few multi chromes. My wish list getting too big. The other 2 new ones just aren't calling to me but I may change my mind by black Friday sale. I have kaleidoscope loose pigment and I don't care for it but I have beach bum and it is nice.
I will get the Tracy lip cream, and maybe another color, a yellow single, a neutral pink single, and that petunia blush. I'm debating on the deep face palette because the bronzer looks too light and orange for my skintone. I received a highlighter and blush from them in a bag, but did bit like them. We'll see, but it sounds lije I'm telling myself no. I'm also eyeing the Blessed palette now that I see there are two duochromes included, but will need to watch videos first from someone with a deep skintone. And, since I figured out my eyes are sensitive to pigments, especially red ones, I will be checking for that as well. Thank you for sharing your collection and giving us the heads up on Tracy. 😊

I’m so thankful for this video because I’ve gotten so many monthly bundles and I have Mel’s memory bundle and I bought a bunch of mystery bags so I’ve had to buy a bunch of pallets that I need to go through my shades and see if I have what is in some of these new pallets. So thank you for opening my eyes to that because I never thought of it when they had all the bundles on sale the cool Browns, the same thing Grace, the grungy greens I bought five of those bundles so now I need to go through my singles and see if I have a majority of what is in the pallets. I love the Blessed pallet. You can layer so many of those shades. Oh beautiful and even the door chromes will be 40% off on the second day. Can’t beat that.

I love the cream shadows, they are the only cream shadows i have found that dont crease on my eyes. My favorites are Phoenix, Dragonfly, Starry Night, The Queen, Boardwalk, and Glory. I will probably be buying more of them 😂 I havent tried their multichrome powder shadows so 🤷♀️ lol! It so hard to choose what to get and what day to shop 🥹❤❤
@tedoymisojos Yes, I have hooded eyes, so it's hard to find cream shadows that work for me, but these do! I use Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden underneath, and I usually set the crease with whatever face setting powder I'm using at the time or a bronzey shadow. Applied that way, I can make it to the 16 hour mark with no creasing, thats the longest I typically wear make up for. They look just as fresh at 16 hours as they do when you first apply them. I have worn them with no primer, and they still work, but don't have the same staying power as they do over the UD Primer Potion. My best tips are to make sure you shake the tube very well before using it and work one eye at a time so they don't dry down before you have it where you want it. ❤️
Also would be curious how the greens/ golds in heaven on earth palette compare with those in the mountain trail as well as the mel thompson retro glam bundle!
Such a big sale. I still haven't been able to make their shimmers last well on my very hooded, oily lids, so eyeshadow palettes are probably out. I'll wear Enduring Love today on top of a MAC paint pot (I've seen you do that so maybe it'll work for me?) and if that works ill def pick up the Heaven on Earth because it has a turtle on the front (so cute) & great colors. If I can't make it work then I guess I'll pass on the sale.
Update: Mac paint pot didn't work. The shimmers faded a lot by noon :S. Viseart eye primer didn't work, Milani Eyeshadow primer didn't work, and Sigma Eyeshadow primer didn't work either. That's it I'm done with their shimmers/metallics. Passing on the sale. Their cream eyeshadows fade a lot on me too. Everything can't work for everybody, unfortunately. You are lucky they work for you; they are so pretty and well-priced. The matte eyeshadows do work for me though.
I've never had any issues with shimmers and I have the same type of eyelids you have described but what I have been doing( thanks to Ohemas video from 2 or 3 years ago and Tina's recently did an eyeshadow video) has been using a primer AND a base. I use Urban Decay primer Potion (I got the mini size to try before I spend the extra duckets) first than add a light layer of a base to cancel out the discoloration on my lids. The primer gets rid of the oil making the shadows last while the base makes them stick. Hope that helps.

Mix The Queen and Warm Glow together. I use a bronzer in my crease. I get so many compliments when I do that combo
