Girl thats the second video in a row shes eating and then spits it out... on camera. We gotta get away from doing that. WTF. You know the queens are so captivating on the Drag Race season... Seeing them in the wild is kind of a let down. Production production production. And the $1 dollar grabs... ewe. You cant even focus on a number whilst having to money grab money grab money grab. Seriously a superstar's booking fee should cover the show, digital tips maybe?, lil mini pit crew to collect the tips maybe?. *Shrugs* Im just saying... if it aint Drag Race I dont care for it.
there is a mini pit crew in the video - they have buckets and go around after to collect it from the stage
tipping is part of drag shows, and I don’t know enough about how their pay structure to give an opinion, I wonder if smaller clubs are able to afford to book professional queens bc of the tips? (just a guess) Sapphira performed before this and someone gave her a $100 tip 😂 I think some people like that they are handing it directly to the performer as well!
One of the local performers prior to this had a cash app QR code on the screen as she was performing, made it possible for people not at the front to tip!
You don’t know how much was booking fee and how much it could cover. The expense for the queen’s performance could be high and will need to cover other people who assisted. Tipping is a part of performance and that’s how people appreciate their performance.

it’s iconic! lots of queens have a shtick too, it’s recognizable and people like it etc, and it’s not like she’s always wearing yellow either
