We need your help! NAACP DeKalb has been faithfully serving the DeKalb County community since 1955. Our mission is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination. Toward that end, we annually strive to recognize and honor the outstanding and noteworthy contributions and achievements made by individuals and groups in the DeKalb County community. If you know of person or organization in the community that has worked to help our community thrive or get better, please nominate them for one of the awards that will be presented at the gala. Our theme this year is “ALL IN” which is a reaffirmation of our commitment to using our collective ingenuity, creativity and strength to continue the fight for civil rights and social justice.
